- This video is a tour of my minimalist Japanese apartment in Fukuoka. I wanted to give you guys a glimpse into the kind of simple living I will be doing while in Japan. Moving abroad is the perfect time to downsize the amount of stuff you own. This apartment is a good example of a typical Japanese studio.
This is identical to my old apt in Osaka!
Very nice video! Great to see the apartment! Looks like a nice little place. :)
Yeah. It’s got everything I need.
Fukuoka is my dream place!
It’s such a great city! Very livable.
Thanks for the interesting insights into a small apartment life in Japan. Something to learn from it.
Thanks Rj, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
This is amazing man have fun brotha
Thanks dude!
I’ve just seen a girl on youtube with the exact same apartment! Looks lovely❤️
Hey man, how suitable are these rooms for tall people? I'm 15 and 6'0, I'll most likely end up being 6'2-6'5, any advice etc?
May I ask how much is your rent in JPY or USD? How many square meters or "mats" is it? Thanks!
My rent was around 45,000 yen a month and the apartment was roughly 30 square meters. I was in a somewhat residential area in Hakata-Ku, but still quite close to the center of the city.
@@DansVoyage thanks for the quick response! I will be moving to Fukuoka in October :)
@@thedakotakid74 you're going to love it. Fukuoka is such a great place! Are you going out there for work?
@@DansVoyage study Japanese and work part time is the plan... Wait and See
Awesome, well I hope you have a great time. Good luck. If you have any questions about the city or anything else just let me know!
Just keep warm and sleep in your futon.. If you can get two three girls it would be better 😂
