I love how much thought went into your rankings! We're planning on hitting a bunch of these during our honeymoon trip, and it's nice to have an overview. Also cool to know at least one PC has improved since this video!
I'll be going to Japan for the first time in March to run the Tokyo marathon. One of my top items to buy is a Pikachu for my 4.5 year old niece. This video was extremely informative.
This video was amazing! I went to five stores during my two-week stay in Japan: Tokyo Mega, Osaka, Osaka DX, Hiroshima, and Kyoto. Kyoto was by far my favorite of the five I visited!!! And I liked Tokyo Mega more than Hiroshima because personally, I didn't mind the crowds and the Pokemon sculptures inside Sunshine Mall in Tokyo were so much fun
Yes! The footage came from over 2 years of traveling to Pokemon Centers here. A very long time to gather 😂 thanks for the kind words! I'm impressed you went to 5 of them with Hiroshima being one of them!
Hey, my plush made a cameo! Personally biased because you did my shopping list in Okinawa and got some amazing items there! Realizing that my trip is mostly just stops at Pokemon Centers right now, whoops. Really excited to see Tokyo DX, Shibuya, Kyoto, Osaka, and Yokohama ones
Hey, I found this video extremely helpful & useful can you give any feedback or help for my trip im planning I’m doing Tokyo Mega Tokyo Sky Tree Town Tokyo DX Shibuya Are there heavy wait times ? Lines? Best days to go? Also Kyoto Pokémon cente Osaka Pokémon centre Are there any issues I need to know before hand as for wait times ? Stock selling out ? Re stocking
weekends and holidays are the worst for wait times. you might have lines to get in and definitely to check out. also the noise is insane because kids will be all there. best times are week days during the day. stock will sell out so its sort of a luck of the draw when it comes to what is available. i can say that you have chosen a lot of the centers so thats more chances to get something you want if it is popular. make sure you go to Tokyo DX fast, i hear they have the rare pikachu plushes again. the special ones for the center. And good luck! :))
I have a question! I will visit Japan next month and I'm looking for a Flabebe plush. Do they sell this plush at every store/center or just at specific ones? Where should I go to get one? I will visit Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Unfortunately I have not seen an official Flabebe plush in stores yet. For the most options, I'd say go to Tokyo DX. Kyoto is pretty cool too for originality. I think Flabebe will be out in a couple years though. Fit series is only at Gen 5
My little bucket list is to visit every Pokemon Center in the world and I have just three left (Hiroshima, Kanazawa and Okinawa). These rank so high on your list, I’m super excited!!! Hitting Okinawa in December. My favourite visually is the Shibuya one just for the floating MewTwo, for merch and layout the Yokohama store, and least favourite… Sapporo? Absolutely unremarkable, even worse than the lackluster Sendai Store. Tied for least favourite, Osaka - even if there’s the cafe because the crowds and goods just never appealed to me. The closed down Shiodome, if still open, would’ve been my fav though. It was out of the way enough that it always felt like only true fans would go, and I loved the vibe.
That's amazing that you have experienced so many too! You are going to really enjoy those 3! I'm missing some small ones, Chiba, Ehime, Chitose, and Gotemba. Pokemon Stores.
I'm visiting japan in February, Is there a chance to get the replica "The Wand Company" Pokeballs at a pokemon center? Or anywhere else in Japan? Love from one of your neighbors in China!
i'm soooo mad at myself T_T i was last year in Japan, stayed a week in Osaka. Went to the normal one and was confused, because the statues of the bird trio was not there.. and where was the Pokémon Cafe? I though I was at the DX one because I didn't know that there are two in Osaka T_T and the DX one was ten minutes from my hotel away!! I even walked by the Pikachu advertisting down the Parco... and I didn't releaize it T_T I notice this after I was back hoooome T___T
I agree the Okinawa one is the nicest in terms of pokemon-ness, however not sure if it was just my luck but when I visited last november there were no okinawa limited merch at all :(( regardless, it's still a nice one to visit especially given that it's located on a holiday island!
So I just went to Tohoku, on a Sunday afternoon (just now) and have come back to this video. 2nding your opinion/emotion. Waited 15 minutes to ride the elevator. Got there, huge line, just to get in, didn't even bother. Snapped a shot of the pikachu and grookey then it took me 20 minutes to leave. I could go later tonight since it's open later and says its less busy at 7:30pm, but idk man, don't think so.
It's wild that Japan has 20+ Pokémon stores while the US has only the one [half] with Nintendo NY. OK. Not that wild. Gotta remember where Pokémon came from. (On vacation and been to both Osaka stores, two Tokyo [Shibuya and Skytree]. Hope to see DX. Didn't have time for Kyoto, unfortunately)
I will totally use this information when planning my trip to Japan!

Thank you! I will try to do an updated one this year after visiting a few again.

I can't believe how beautiful and fun the Center in Okinawa is.
It's literally amazing!

Probably the best plush out there!
I just moved to Japan this week.
I live 1 hour west of Tokyo, so I will start with those first.
You are going to love it! Pace yourself!

What about Pokémon centres outside Japan in Singapore and Taiwan!
I should add them in! I still haven't gone to the new one in Taiwan yet though. But soon!
@@pokemonlidadventures Okay fine thanks for replying!

Kanazawa was my favorite!! I'm at Hiroshima, no Gyarados Pikachu so I'm sad. I can't wait to see more as I go thru Japan!
I have no plans of visiting Japan but this still was entertaining
Are you will be able to visit the Worlds Pokémon Pop-up Store?
I'm visiting japan in February, Is there a chance to get the replica "The Wand Company" Pokeballs at a pokemon center? Or anywhere else in Japan?
Love from one of your neighbors in China!
im going to be staying down the street from the Kyoto Center and very happy to see it was one of the better ones haha
awesome location to be staying in! that is going to be exciting!
Would be a good video to blow up
Someone knows if prices are different in Pokemon Center in Osaka?
Should be the same
@@pokemonlidadventures Thanks!
How much is the Narita Pikachu?
I'm gonna hit up the LA museum on my way back from Japan.
That's a great idea! Hands down I loved that museum
Of the 3 I went to my favourite was Kyoto. I loved those statues of Ho-oh and Lugia. I was able to get my big Fidough plush!

Oh no... I hope you get a chance to go back
Want to Comeback in 2025 ❤

Oh no. That's unfortunate. 😕 But you are right, it is still Okinawa and that in itself is awesome 😎
My favorite PKM center in Tokyo is the DX as well
best tier list.
thank you very much!
from what you can remember, is there any center that has a bigger amount of articulated plushies over the others?

Right?! It's surprising considering it's not a major city. But I just didn't feel a Pokemon Center vibe there. Felt more pop up shop like 😂
tokyo station just opened a new one!!!!!!!!!! BIGGER!!
Yesssss that's what I'm waiting to go to so I can update my rankings
Me watching this video like "bro better mention Okinawa" then end up being Number 1!
