I've made this recipe several times and it's always good. Today I did it a little differently and they were even better. I inadvertently added the cheeses to the dry ingredients, forgetting that I was supposed to melt the cheese first. Instead, I melted the cheese and dry ingredients together in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring each time. After adding the eggs, the dough came together much easier and more completely than melting the cheese separately. I also added a 1/4 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum which made the texture more like a real bagel. Next time I'm going to try 1/2 tsp.

I’ve made these and I like to add a tablespoon of psyllium husk and I use 1/2 cup of Parmesan instead of mozzarella. I mix everything in the food processor.. no cheese melting. It’s so good! They are great the original way too!
I just made these and my husband said they were a cross between a bagel and a biscuit. My granddaughter loved them especially with cream cheese. Thanks for the recipe!
A couple tips: -When I’m rolling out the dough I have a cup or bowl of water on stand by. Wetting your hands really good is the best option I’ve found to combat the dough from sticking to your hands. -instead of sprinkling the ebtb seasoning & seeds on top put them on a plate & dip the top of your bagels in it. It saves from making a mess & wasting a lot of seasoning. -these bagels are good as is BUT trust me when I say TOAST THEM before you eat them just like you would a regular bagel. It makes a difference for the better. When I have time I toast them on the comal with butter to get that good crunch & then eat them with cream cheese. -you can freeze them. I’ve kept them for up to 1 1/2 months is when I finished the last one. -I sometimes use them for hamburger buns. -half the dough & on one half instead of savory seasoning in & on top of the bagel add vanilla ext, cinnamon & sweetener (even some blueberries). These ones you can toast them & add cream cheese & sugar free jelly or use to make a sugar free bp&j.

I tried this today, I ground garlic into half then used the everything spice; that made 3 for my wife. I put Cinnamon in the rest for myself. They made a nice base for breakfast sandwiches. My wife suggested we try the same recipe in muffin top pans.

I made these and of course my dough didn’t come out like yours. You were correct about making the hole bigger. I enjoyed this bagel recipe and I say YUM 😋. My other half did enjoy it but he said my bagel was too soft. I need to try this again and hopefully I can it right the next time.

You can eat clean and still have digestive issues if you may have sensitivity to certain foods. Found the instructions on the website. Anyway the bagels are awesome. My husband liked them better than regular ones. Yay! Thank you
I made your bagels last night and they are cery tasty. I added salt amd pepper to the everything mix as well as sprinkling more garlic and onion piwder on top. Then i took the leftover everything mix that landed on the tray and added the toasted mix and dried chives to my cream cheese. Best outcome i could have hoped for theyre delicious!
I ordered from thrive one time it was a horrible experience and my vegetables didn't last 3 days before they rotted they gave me a $10 coupon to give him another try but I said no thank you. I figured if they couldn't get the order right that time they're not going to get it right the next time

It seems the recipe suggests to beat 1 of the eggs with water to brush onto the bagels before sprinkling the seasoning mix. So , 1 egg or 2 in the mix? It looked good and rich eggy yellow with 2. I'll be trying both ways needing an extra egg for the eggwash...thanks these sound great! 😋

I have had fathead bagels before. They are bread like, but they do lack the chewy consistency that real bagels have. When I made them, I used a silicone donut pan? to make them in. I may have to revisit and make them again. They are still good for cream cheese, bacon, and tomato.

We freeze ours all the time we just pre-cut them put them in a Ziploc and take them out as you need them put them in the toaster or you can use a toaster oven or a air fryer yum yum comes out very crispy if you like it that way
