Big fan of the channel. You guys are definitely my favorite whiskey Tubers by far. This one had me laughing, but I gotta suggest rewatching (at least the middle) on .75x speed. It slurs the speech and makes the two of you sound hammered. It’s hilarious.
No offence at all, but I like it when Kurt talks about his schnozz. It feels like when I was a kid and my grandpa talked about when his car was hit by lightning. Sure, I had heard the story dozens of times, but I didn't mind letting him tell the story once again since it was cosy and because it was an important experience to him.
Watch all of your stuff, this is right up there , I was crying with the lemonade tears , You guys smash it , naturally , real , honest and bags of fun , Dad n son at its best . Keep doing these , once a week will be amazing. Cheers guys
Love the video. Kurt knocked it out of the park! Trenton, you got to be a little less quick to judge and just let it work on your senses. But, Kurt nailed it. He said "light whiskey" which is basically what grain whiskey is. Sure it is a bit spirituous/ethanol forward as basically an Irish corn whiskey (95% corn), but it is aged for 3-6 years in RED WINE CASKS. So yes it has lemon, citrus notes, but it also has that wine influence with red grapes and berries on the nose....I think it is "perfumy" all together. Then your really get the vanilla fondant of Irish whiskey on the taste. the corn sweetness, the perfume, the herbs de provence. When I want something light and "pretty", especially during summer, this is a lovely dram.
To quote Rebecca, this was very entertaining. Blinds are difficult in any format, but when you truly do not know anything about the juice in the blind, it can be unbelievably frustrating....but fun to watch. Good one.
I feel like a bit of a schmuck now after calling you out on a previous "blind" tasting for not really being blind. You came back and rose to the challenge instead of shrugging it off. So kudos to you all! You did it in such a courteous way that you humbled me. Cheers to you. Now, more like these please. This is what I have personally been looking for when I hear "blind"! Great work! 🥃🥃🥃🥃👃👅👌🏼👎👍🏼
OMG you guys are killing it! So good! Thanks for making me belly laugh this morning. That's what it's all about playing off of each other & having fun. The love & respect in your family really shines through. Cheers
Can I be blatant? I love this double blind. When you guys know what’s on the lineup it create bias. Maybe each of you do ten “future” blinds and create a pool of 20. Then have whoever pick it at random. So at least you’re able to make a “fair” blind but you don’t know which one it is. But this double blind was my the best I’ve seen! Keep it going!!
Dont apologize and explain why you chose what you chose...we are all adults and understand that this is very subjective. Otherwise, great video! I do blinds at my house and we are always surprised at the rankings..its just how it is. Happy drinking!
Oh and sry for all the comments but I should say to SLB, I appreciate what you are doing for me- and I wish I could donate or pay for your service but I'm just flat broke all the time. Probably not the best place to disclose but life kinda derailed around 2021. If I was financially well then I would totally support you and I'm sorry that I cannot. I hope others will and I'll spread the word as much as I can.
Love hate relationship with D was quite funny Kurt. I just wanna throw a shout out to "Mom/Babe" - I'm sure this gets old having to do this so much for the guys but we really appreciate that you allow it. You're all the best and I hope that doing this channel for us doesn't ever hurt yall in any way. Thanks for all the advice and laughs. Oh and if you think about it please share the 2 songs (I'm assuming they are 2) that you play in the background for every video and please don't ever change it. The channel has such a comfy vibe to it and it is a joy to be able to watch. I still think it's the best Whiskey you tube channel even though it was also my first. And i am really excited for you to do a Rum or tequila video. I've learned so much about Whiskey from yall but don't know much about those two topics. I always go with Casamigos and my ears perked up when I hear Kurt recently say it was trash or not real tequila (can't remember how he said it) but I'd also like to hear your thoughts on Adictivo Anejo. It's very sweet and I just think something is off about it, like they added sweetener. Anyways- take care.
I love these blinds! Would love to see one where an actual rum, amaro, or even something like a barrel aged gin gets thrown into the blind. It would be hilarious to watch them go from a Russel’s 10 to Amaro Nonino from one sip to the next.
Completely blind tastings are a great addition to your usual content rotations. Signed up in a heartbeat. I did a few blind tastings on my channel and really enjoyed the process. My test was if I could identify the style, get close on the proof, and then a wild guess on the bottle. Lots of fun, but super hard.
Those two pours on the cutting room floor really did some damage didn’t they? Y’all were saucy af!! I think that should be your go to move from now on Trent.
Kurt I REALLY APPRECIATE your sinus issues, my wife was involved in a HORRIBLE EXPLOSION/FIRE; almost 40 years ago; where she took a FULL Propane EXPLOSION, almost 70% Burns, she's had Nasal issues FOREVER, Polyps, Headaches, Migraines & smelling; every 2 or 3 years , she goes in & gets "Rorto Routes", I MORE than understand & feel for you....
I had Sinus surgery and I was fortunate enough that it actually enhanced my sense of smell but I think it can go either way. Great video made me laugh out loud - you guys are fun to watch!
It's a shame that you two have no fun doing these blinds... LOL! What a great blind & episode and more blinds from Mom please. Thank you & keep up the great work.
I had a bottle of the Teeling Single Grain on hand to drink along with you, and admittedly, this is not the best Teeling (and there ARE some great ones) nor indicative of the brand. The only whiskey distillery still active in Dublin! Some of the barrel strength bottlings are stellar and this is coming from a first-generation Irish-American who does NOT love Barley as a grain. But Teeling is my go-to and has an American Master Distiller to boot! Kudos to Jill (whether intentional or otherwise) for expanding YOUR horizons after you guys torturing me with American Single Malts last week... 😆😆
This was one of the best blinds I have ever watched...absolutely loved it. Lemonade and cheez-whiz! Those are tasting notes to remember for sure! Cheers!! 🥃
Ok, by far the funniest episode you guys have ever done. Yeah not that helpful for me but I enjoyed the honesty until my stomach ached. Throw these in, love it. I have a terrible sense of humor and haven't laughed that much in a long time.
Probably my favourite blind ever. I'm not overly fond of Teeling's offerings (I haven't had them all). I'm a Powers guy when it comes to Irish. At the end of the day, this was a fun blind.
Sometime when I make it the the greater Chi-town area, we need to meet again. These videos are simply FANTASTIC (lemonade??) and this is in the Top 10 of all time!!!
Love the double blind…can I request a double blind of a previous flight? Would totally love to see if you both change from previous rankings when you don’t know the specific line up. Keep up the great work!
I loved this episode. As much as you guys did not like the whiskies, yoy guys seemed to have a really fun time. I have an old bottle of dovetail i really like, and a blue run thats not great but not terrible, the bourbon reflection 1
Just a heads up for you Valpo guys…..the store in Knox has Stagg, (extremely expensive), Weller Antique (about $200 IIRC), Weller Reserve, Blantons, Eagle Rare, two different E H Taylor and some others I can’t remember at about MSRP. For example, Blantons is $85 (they had three at least) Not a joke. Just saw it today Feb 23rd. You’re welcome
Great blind. I do love Teelings and bounced off Dovetail as well so interesting lining up of experiences. Grain Whiskey from Ireland isn’t my favorite because of the ink/ethanol I get but Teelings as a brand has impressed.
Your wife/mom and I need to start a Whiskey Wives club to commiserate on having to pour blinds all the time 😅 Also, YDB loves the black glens - just make sure to use a jigger to pour into them because it's hard to see how much you're pouring in to them.
The text on screen for the Blue Run said High Rye, which is my favorite from them, so I was disappointed when it did so poorly. But then the bottle reveal they said it was the Golden Rye, which makes more sense haha
This gives me an ides for a bourbon tasting show where ALL of the pours are mercilessly roasted, like Don Rickels or something, back in the tonight show era.
I’ve never heard of the first three, and I’ve never cared a whole lot for blue nun. I won’t be buying any of these bottles. I lmao watching this video. Thanks guys!
Personally I have never tasted anything good from BARREL. I gifted two expensive bottles to my superiors at work and was embarrassed when we opened them and tasted it. 7 people drinking it, hated it.
5:30 "Musty laundry?" Trenton, where do you keep your nose that you come up with these comparisons? 🤣 8:59 You start talking about the schnozz and I'll think you're Jimmy Durante. 🙂
This was such a funny entertaining blind! My first botte of Barrell Dovetail didn't impress me at first after 3 months open @ half bottle it opened up to a very delicious profile so I bought another. For me its unusual whereby some bottles are great on first crack and some that I would never buy again really open up after a few months of oxygenation. Could me a great future review.
Have mercy when T laughs at K when K says “you have a love/hate relationship with D” and then T moves on like a boss as if nothing happened. Trenton, you’re amazing and very professional…kinda lol.
Rebel 100 and Rittenhouse rye. Good stuff for 20$ 26$ respectively. Rittenhouse is smooth and spicy finish. Delicate, sweet, zingy, lingering kiss of spice and bitterness. Please try these. 30$ or less blinds. I love these. Super helpful to finding good stuff
Hi! Love the show been watching for a long long time! Can you guys do a review on any and all red wine’s finished in bourbon barrels?? A fun spin on the love for bourbon! Maybe something to do on SLB tries???
“Love hate relationship with D” somewhere Michael Scott is SCREAMING “that’s what she said” 🤣🤣
Big fan of the channel. You guys are definitely my favorite whiskey Tubers by far. This one had me laughing, but I gotta suggest rewatching (at least the middle) on .75x speed. It slurs the speech and makes the two of you sound hammered. It’s hilarious.
Oh my god it in the middle at that speed and I was crying laughing so hard!!!
Dead!
This blind is fantastic because it provides you and your viewers with the confidence of honesty; it's what a "blind" should be. Thank you!

Absolutely love Barrell Dovetail. Don't know how you could dislike it that much. To each his own 🤷🏻♂️
Love the video. Kurt knocked it out of the park! Trenton, you got to be a little less quick to judge and just let it work on your senses. But, Kurt nailed it. I cried laughing right along with Kurt. Funniest blind hands down
100% best video guys. Please do this type of blind on a regular basis. Thanks for all the smiles!
I absolutely LOVE how unhinged the guys were in this one
I feel like a bit of a schmuck now after calling you out on a previous "blind" tasting for not really being blind. You came back and rose to the challenge instead of shrugging it off. So kudos to you all! You did it in such a courteous way that you humbled me.
Cheers to you.
Now, more like these please. This is what I have personally been looking for when I hear "blind"! Great work!
🥃🥃🥃🥃👃👅👌🏼👎👍🏼
The giggles over "lemonade" was great.
This is the best video you have ever done. I am crying.
Super fun episode... Just loved it... Hope to see these random blinds every now and then.. To me this was all about having fun..
Thanks!!
Great blind. At least this episode won’t cost me any money. No chance I’ll rush out to hunt any of these 🥃 😂
😂 I was thinking that I would be pouring out these bottles to open up inventory room.
OMG you guys are killing it! So good! Thanks for making me belly laugh this morning. That's what it's all about playing off of each other & having fun. The love & respect in your family really shines through. Cheers
You just made my day. Smiling from ear to ear.
One of the best episodes I’ve seen from you guys in a while!! Keep it up lol
Dont apologize and explain why you chose what you chose...we are all adults and understand that this is very subjective. Otherwise, great video! I do blinds at my house and we are always surprised at the rankings..its just how it is. Happy drinking!

Madness! I find Dovetail to be one of the best Barrel offerings. The personal enjoyment makes the hobby fun to share.
This is, by far, one of my favorite videos! 😂 Had me cracking up so much while enjoying some good Eagle Rare lol
This was one of my favorite episodes of any bourbon content I ever seen watching you guys Crack up had me busting out laughing this was awesome
Love hate relationship with D was quite funny Kurt. I just wanna throw a shout out to "Mom/Babe" - I'm sure this gets old having to do this so much for the guys but we really appreciate that you allow it. I was laughing the whole way through! Happy Friday, guys! 😀

I like this absolutely blind video. Fun knowing what's happening while watching y'all dissect it.
Off. The. Rails. And I loved every second of it 😂😂
Completely blind tastings are a great addition to your usual content rotations. Signed up in a heartbeat.
I did a few blind tastings on my channel and really enjoyed the process. My test was if I could identify the style, get close on the proof, and then a wild guess on the bottle. Lots of fun, but super hard.

Love these longer videos. Gives me something good to watch on my lunch 😁
Kurt
I REALLY APPRECIATE your sinus issues, my wife was involved in a HORRIBLE EXPLOSION/FIRE; almost 40 years ago; where she took a FULL Propane EXPLOSION, almost 70% Burns, she's had Nasal issues FOREVER, Polyps, Headaches, Migraines & smelling; every 2 or 3 years , she goes in & gets "Rorto Routes", I MORE than understand & feel for you....

What a great episode guys. I love when there is chaos like this!
This was a lot of fun to watch! And, Teeling Single Grain is also one of my absolute favorites. :)
Definitely one of the most entertaining videos that y’all have done. Of the four that you tasted, I have not heard of any of them. Great video!
I had a bottle of the Teeling Single Grain on hand to drink along with you, and admittedly, this is not the best Teeling (and there ARE some great ones) nor indicative of the brand. Awesome video boys!! I was rolling this morning….so much fun! Thank you, as always, for the laughs! Can’t wait for the livestream tonight…cheers!
My Barrell Dovetail turned into my favorite sweet pour. Melted marshmallow over a toasted brown sugar pop tart. It's amazing
Ok, by far the funniest episode you guys have ever done. Yeah not that helpful for me but I enjoyed the honesty until my stomach ached. Throw these in, love it. I have a terrible sense of humor and haven't laughed that much in a long time.
you both were so goofy in this video. it was great!😂
Probably my favourite blind ever. I'm not overly fond of Teeling's offerings (I haven't had them all). I'm a Powers guy when it comes to Irish. At the end of the day, this was a fun blind.
This was hysterical! Keep up the great work guys! Keep it real!
Trenton, bro, your palate is cray.
Control or not, gentlemen, that was extremely entertaining!!
Very entertaining! Talk about picking four different bottles! Well done.
Random blinds are the best blinds. Lots of fun!
Good video, fun to watch. One of the few videos where I didn't add anything to my hunt list. Very entertaining though!
Omg! This was hilarious!! Needed those laughs after a long week! 😂
Shout out to Rebecca for this blind. 😅
I loved this episode. As much as you guys did not like the whiskies, yoy guys seemed to have a really fun time. I have an old bottle of dovetail i really like, and a blue run thats not great but not terrible, the bourbon reflection 1
Hilarious…Awesome….probably the most fun blind I’ve seen!….thank you!
The hair is looking good, Kurt. You'd never know.
I rarely comment on videos, but this was funnier than hell.
Just a heads up for you Valpo guys…..the store in Knox has Stagg, (extremely expensive), Weller Antique (about $200 IIRC), Weller Reserve, Blantons, Eagle Rare, two different E H Taylor and some others I can’t remember at about MSRP. For example, Blantons is $85 (they had three at least)
Not a joke. Just saw it today Feb 23rd. You’re welcome
I would love for you guys to do a distillery review on Still Austin. Now that they have more products out, their stuff is phenomenal for a 2 year.
Great blind. I do love Teelings and bounced off Dovetail as well so interesting lining up of experiences. Grain Whiskey from Ireland isn’t my favorite because of the ink/ethanol I get but Teelings as a brand has impressed.
Absolutely enjoyed watching you both lose it and laugh.
Your wife/mom and I need to start a Whiskey Wives club to commiserate on having to pour blinds all the time 😅 Also, YDB loves the black glens - just make sure to use a jigger to pour into them because it's hard to see how much you're pouring in to them.

J Mattingly products are among my favorites, except the price. Cheers 🍻

I’ve never heard of the first three, and I’ve never cared a whole lot for blue nun. I won’t be buying any of these bottles. I lmao watching this video. Thanks guys!
If I could give this video 10 thumbs up, I would !!!!! You guys are hilarious!
It is great to see you two have some whiskeys that you also believe some are bad!
Looks like Kurt had a great time in Florida, fully recharged
Personally I have never tasted anything good from BARREL. I gifted two expensive bottles to my superiors at work and was embarrassed when we opened them and tasted it. 7 people drinking it, hated it.
I think you guys should do an Irish blind there is so much out there in that category
5:30 "Musty laundry?" Trenton, where do you keep your nose that you come up with these comparisons? 🤣
8:59 You start talking about the schnozz and I'll think you're Jimmy Durante. 🙂
I started laughing with kurt in this video, this was funny.
The Teeling Rum cask is wonderful
That was such a good blind. Totally random for sure. Great job to the wife!
I would love to see these two attempt a blind flight of baijiu. I'm sure their reactions would be entertaining.
16 way blind of all peated scotch!
Y’all made me laugh quite hard. Way too funny. Thanks!!
No, I think this is the BEST bourbon blind you've ever done 🤣
😂 going to start age stating my laundry now. Batch 12, aged 3 days in oxyclean filled washer barrels
This was a pleasure to watch 🤣🥃 Cheers
Have mercy when T laughs at K when K says “you have a love/hate relationship with D” and then T moves on like a boss as if nothing happened. Trenton, you’re amazing and very professional…kinda lol.
😂😂😂
😂Kurt was cry laughing, fun video even though I’ve never had any of these. Lemonade #1
Hahaha Great Video, you guys had me rolling. Thanks for the laughs.
Journeyman Corsets Whips And Whiskey Wheat Cask Strength...Really unique. Give it a go.
If you are ever in Dublin, the Teeling Distillery is a fantastic tour with an AWESOME Tasting Room! 😉
It would be cool to have a tour of all your collection. No need for a tasting but just a description of some of them along the tour.
Super helpful to finding good stuff
this was great lol. I'm surprised they disliked Dovetail so much. I like that one a lot.
Wonderful blind. Love you guys.
Nice review man, makes me want to give it a try! Just for future reference, it’s pronounced “Na-ran-ha” instead of “na-jar-a”
Good morning to by favorite bourbon tasting team🥃
Love the show!!! Dang i did not know people dont use the word pad no more, Im only 60 years of age!!!
Great show, gents.
Hi! Love the show been watching for a long long time! Can you guys do a review on any and all red wine’s finished in bourbon barrels?? A fun spin on the love for bourbon! Maybe something to do on SLB tries???
Favorite SLB video. ❤
Coming soon to your on-line store, the SLB Drinks Crying Towel. LOL......
I had high hopes for barrell dovetail, but it is my most disappointing bottle from them, and I love almost everything they’ve put out.
