I really like both of those micro brands. Very unique designs. I've got 3 or 4 Casios. Just bought my first G-Shock square and bought a adapter and NATO strap from Barton watch straps. Very comfortable and radio controlled. Keep making video's, there great.

Sitting here writing out this comment with my newly acquired GBD-200-2ER (squared faced in blue), G Shocks are the equivalent to what a Golf GTI was to the motoring world. Have a few black G Shocks, but always tend go for the different coloured versions.

Thanks for the content - always happy to see other makes and models out there. I know the G-Shocks are built tough and have well-earned respect for that. However, the models that catch my eye are $1,000+ Personally, I'm not intrigued enough to spend that much on one. Unless of course, I was planning to head into the deep jungle for a few weeks, in which case I might have to rethink...

Fantastic video. Not as per your usual. Really made me chuckle. I am in a similar situation. I want to love the Casio G-Shock because so many rave about them but haven't found the space in my heart yet. The black black definately is a consideration for a first step though.

I use that B&J strap on my BB58 and it looks great. Thought it looked gorgeous on your 861 Speedy too, very understated but still classy. Could always sell your bracelet and buy 25 G shocks with the money! 😉

Come on Osin, do some research. The GA-2100 is the CASIOAK with the Octagonal bezel. The watch is favored by the CASIO community.
Manuals are available from the Casio website,just look for a number in a rectangle 'cause that's the movement number and will give you a PDF manual that's actually readable instead of those soppy things they put in the box.
I have four G-shocks two are large and two are the '80's style which look better on my 7" wrist.Love what you've done with the intro music.......................................

Place the clear one in so material black dye and you'll get a really nice smokey look....if you're not feeling the transparency
My G-Shock is my Seiko Prospex SPB079. That 6159 design on a super comfortable rubber strap. Burly and built to take anything. Other than that it’s back to the fancy boys. Like you said, I’m not 18 anymore and there is only so much wrist time 😂

I have had and have six G-Shocks in the 18 years. Most are great watches. Right now I've been wearing a Casio World Time for $20. I just enjoy the classic, modern, sophisticated look of it

Though I have a Casio, it's not a G-Shock. I do agree though that a digital, whether Casio or Timex, ought to be part of any watch collection.
Keep the black on black G-Shock and give the “clear” one to your daughter. The digital display DW-5600 G-Shock square is my work watch.
The theme music with the addition of drums is a nice change too.

Try the AWM-500. And yes you can drop any G-SHOCK from 5 stories high and should still work.

:D :D :D Love the GA 2100. That model should go down as a classic in the massive G-Shock library. It looks good on you, and BTW, its nickname is the "CasiOak" and I'm sure you can probably guess why. My son just started kindergarten last week, and to celebrate, I bought him the GW 6900 (plus one for me, shhhhh!). Even though I have a few sport Rolexes, I have a weakness for G-Shocks. Next up is a 5000 square.
Even as a massive, lifelong G-Shock fan, I have to concede that the second one is seriously fugly! 😂
Great looking Omega with strap. Do you remove/add links, adjust micro sizing and exchange your own straps? - As a newish collector, Ive just started doing this to my own pieces, learning to do it without any scratches.
Finally Osín about time. Hey I take you as a real down to earth guy. I know you enjoy Rolex, Omega, Cubans, fine ladies and wines but I don't think you are a snob. So I'm glad because I remember you saying something to the effect you would never own a G-Shock. Keep in mind Brother some of us can't afford a Rolex and others can but can't get a hold of one without getting ripped off. Anyway I enjoy and Love your channel all the time.
