A man of the people! That's all we ever really want, isn't it?! hahaha.
If Oisin ever starts a channel reviewing whiskys and wines, that will take a life of its own I think. Btw, Usman seems to be very talented with some patience issues.
Bliiiiiiimey Oisin, YOU HAVE A LOT OF WATCHES! And I freaking love them! You have such a good, deep collection. Not just like, obvious choices! Love it!
Nice to hear no swearing in this channel…and of course no getting drunk talk. Just talking watches and no nonsense chatting.
Thank you for doing this! Yes, we asked for it and I was among those asking this was appreciated. That said, your watch/travel pieces are epic! You really helped get me through COVID. Thank you for being unique and entertaining! Cheers, Jock
Love those Seamasters! I’ve had my eye on that 50th anniversary GMT for quite some time now.
Grab one, you wont regret it
I love that part 1 ended with your Speedmaster. Love that new custom strap. Transforms it completely.
Loved seeing a fellow Traditional Catholic is into his watches!!
This channel has it all, paradise as a back drop, expensive cigars, fine wines, exquisite watches and a voice that could give Yeats a run for his money.
@@brianmsahin if you payed 12 euro for tea in Venice, you were either sitting at the Quadri or the Florian. The oldest cafe on earth… in the most beautiful piazza on the earth… with silver service. It’s not the tea you’re paying for. And yes, Venice is paradise. It’s even nicer when unappreciative, low brow folk stay away.
@ Ouch!
@@stevenshipley5280 🤣🤣🤣
I found all of Northern Italy beautiful. Especially during Covid when all the tourists were gone.
My fav watch reviewer, greeting from Gorey
Absolutely love the new opening music. The fusion of classical & rock is amazing.
Is it a mix from Oisin or anywhere obtainable? Smoking hot…
Unparalleled passion for watches of all shapes and sizes. What a great video and we’re only half way through.
Thanks for yet another plug Oisin! You’re The Man Brother! Lots of Love, MK
TWO PARTS!? Oh baby I am dialled in. Crushing pt 1 rn and hella amped for pt 2!
The Seamaster without the helium escape valve looks like its an amputee. I love the valve...it balances the case.
This is the first time ever, I have read the opposite opinion about it
I grabbed a King Turtle while watching your video.....could't grab a Seamaster...**lol** Classy and very well made videos. Congrats from Mexique!
So glad you have done a state of the collection! I have really be looking forward to this one from you Oisin. Quality as always buddy.
Love your Omegas. Like you, Omega captured my heart a long time ago. Beautiful watches and at a reasonable price level.
Hi Oisin, been really enjoying the channel and content over the last few weeks! I was a ship's officer and Master Mariner serving on oceanographic research vessels on expeditions around the world for 14 years, as a young 3rd mate I picked up the same 50th Anniversary Seamaster GMT in Japan and wore through my career. For log book keeping, weather observation and reporting, and celestial navigation the GMT function was super useful. Sad to say had an issue with the hour hand not advancing for an hour once or twice a week and even after a servicing the problem persisted. I picked up an Aquaterra and left the GMT in a sea bag stored on my ship for a rotation off, ended up retiring from sea, never retrieved my bag and lost the watch. Loved seeing it in your collection and really miss the piece - looks so retro now.
Been settled down with a family now and for a few years wasn't wearing a watch, but now, with permission from my wife haha, I'm building a collection. In your Watch Shopping with KARISSA video in Venice I was pretty excited to see you point out my Seiko SRPH97K1 King Samurai Night Vision - I re-watched it to show my wife proof of my good taste :) My other current watches are a Seiko Captain Willard SPB237, and a Vintage late 50's Omega Seamaster Calendar.
Q&A - Have you ever been to Buenos Aires? Think you would enjoy the old world Italian/European, wine, and music scene vibe of the city. I cant wait to someday visit again and show my wife around. Cheers Mate, keep up the great content.
Nice collection. It's great to see that you have a watch at every level, and have been enjoying them all. Cheers mate!
I've seen many "Watch Collections" videos all over UA-cam, but Oisin has the best taste of all collectors. Wish I had something similar one day. Greetings!
Love your videos - I could listen to you for hours. Keep it up!
Excellent presentation on your collection. Your descriptions of each watch was interesting to hear. Look forward to the other parts.
There’s definitely an opening for a wine channel to start from you
I was oblivious to the pressure on you to do this video but I'm very glad to to see it come up AND that it is a multi part series. That way I know you can do it justice.
Secondly, I am thrilled that I share three watches with you in this. part one. I am the happy owner od an H!, Seamaster 300 (sword hand), and a '67 Speedy with 321. So looking forward to what else you have in store foe us.
Enjoy that wine.
Cheers from California
Am I the only one that loved the beginning? So entertaining!
That Seamaster GMT 50th anniversary watch is clearly the star of the collection(so far). Lovely custom Seiko mods too!
Nice twist to the intro music. I like the blend between the classic and rock.
Love your first ever watch, Seamaster. What a beauty.
Really looking forward to part two …three …and four !!!!
The Seamaster Trieste video is top 5 for me!
Great collection, looking forward to part 2
Best state of the collection so far this fall. Cheers my friend another excellent video. Let’s drink and celebrate to loving watches and life
Superb collection (Part 1). My very first luxury watch was also the Omega Seamaster (Bond Watch) and I have been a watch nerd ever since. I sold it just before the birth of my first child and went years unable to afford the hobby. I just recently jumped back in with the 2021 Speedy Moonwatch 3861. Your version, of course, is much more sought after, but you have to get in somewhere... I have no plans to sell ever and just want to grow my collection, piece by piece. Thank you for the video and I am gearing up to watch (Part 2).
More Omega than I expected. Nice
i could listen to you read the phone book.. love your voice. thank you for such good info and insight..
Thanks for sharing and explaining the Wines and Seamaster Symbol.
Part 1 of your collection is fantastic.
very entertaining and informative. nice that you share your thoughts with us. I like your calm and self-confident manner. Thank you for the interesting presentation of your collection. Cheers
You had me at 2531.80. I have one too and love it. Very special
I have a pretty strict 3 watch ONLY collection now... but when I started out I had a nice Omega side, Planet Ocean 600m (43.5 mm) + a Speedy + a cheap vintage dress watch from Omega... but sold them all and some of my IWC's that I just didn't wear (Big Pilot's watch and a smaller pilot's automatic on a nato). Now it's mostly Rolex, Submariner 114060, a GMT Master II 126710BLRO and Jaeger Reverso Classic Large. That's it... just very simple and best yet... I wear them fairly regularly. My beater though is an Apple Watch for fitness and what not.
Love the new intro man, double kick drum is killing it👍😁
Excellent Part 1; genuine passion shining through as Wine Time approached. Omega really stirring the blood. Top Man; thanks for sharing 🥃🎶🌹
Oh man such a satisfying way to start a SOTC!!!!!!
Nice collection Oisin
Nice, thanks for sharing them with us.
Great video, that Seamaster GMT looks amazing!
Great video Oisin. I just put that Jubilee from strapcode on my Seiko. I love it. Totally changed the entire experience of wearing the watch.
Yesss - can't wait for part 2!!!
i love your watches mix. good job man
Love the Omega Seamaster collection. Miss my Bond Seamaster! Thanks
Great video. Seiko King Turtle and Omega Speedmaster pro the picks for mine. Love your thoughts and banter.
Keep doing what you are doing, it’s just great
The last five you've shown would be my perfect collection! I already have one so... 4 to go, hahahaha! Great and interesting video, as always!
the older the speedy the better ,special watch
Watches & wine (especially claret) - two of my favourite interests!
The 1st 35 seconds in ... LOL it's so true.
Everything else comes 2nd. State of the collection, the MOST important thing we just love, appreciate and admire viewing!
Got a kick out of the intro. I could feel your pain with the demands of the "State of the collection." Always a joy to sit down after a long day and watch you do your thing.
Very nice video👏Great Wines, watches and cigars! Triple A combination. I have a 2005 Pichon Comtesse. A superb vintage😁. Quite similar to 2000 and 2010 (recent vintages). Still I haven't tasted it yet. Other great Pauillacs I've tasted are 2004Pedesclaux, 2007Pontet Canet, 2009Clerc Millon and 2001Carruades de Lafite. And its great appreciating them along with a Rolex and a cigar afterwards with a 1982 Porto wine.
Really great video. You have a awesome style and choice in watches. More, more, more
Great to see the Sate of the Collection !
Thanks for the video and all you do. Just a fantastic channel!
Amazing watches! Now we need a Wine & Whisky SOTC 😃
Great video 👍 That Speedmaster really is lovely.
Can we say Nebbiolo is the Tudor of the watch world? 😉
OMG Baron Pichon Longueville! The last I had was a 96 but that was too long ago. Based on your location you’re probably into Super Tuscans, but if you haven’t already, try Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva "Anniversario 62“. Not in the same price bracket, but definitely a great Primitivo. The bottle itself is also quality 👍🏼
Superb stuff, some nice timepieces, looking forward to the next instalment👀⌚
Great vlog great watches. Enjoy 😊
YESSSSSS, the day has finally come. Had to just comment my excitement before i watch this long awaited sotc
Appreciate this kinda video of fine watches, wine and cigars. I hv a 05' Comtesse and last year drank Reserve de Lalande 05'. Perfect Pauillac! 03 vintage is also amazing for Bordeaux although underestimated.
Sunday evening, glass of wine and lots of lovely watches 🍷⌚️👍
Thanks for introducing me to the RedBreast Whiskey. Wow that is so good!
I used to hate the look of the cyclopse when I was younger but now that I am an old man and can barely read the date, I have come to appreciate the practical use of the cyclopse
Love the Speedy… Love the vintage yellowing of the lume… I would stick the old hands on to match the patina and yellowing …
Fascinating stuff, thanks 😊
enjoyed that. looking forward to part 2. Hoping your Reverso will make an appearance (think I saw one on Insta).
Fairly sure I have an '05 Sociando Mallet in the cellar (cupboard under the stairs!), it was part payment for a wine talk I did - great to hear it has good life left in it.
Bad TV in Italy but oh the wines and women !!!!
Some great watches there. I enjoyed the wine review as much as the watch review.
Nice collection
I skipped to the part 2 when you said I’m starting with the cheaper stuff🤣
Thanks!
That 1450 bracelet is too cool, your video on it made me want one bad enough that I got the uncle Seiko bracelet styled after the 1450.
So agree on the 50 years Seamaster. Have one, love it!! 👍
Awesome again. By jingo you have some really nice pieces!
That first Omega that you bought, the Bond, it’s in amazing condition
Your Seamasters are epic.
Those Omegas are just perfect.
I have that jubilee from strapcode and they’re just great! I like the last Seiko out of those 4 mods.
Gotta love that Speedy ;-)
The remix of your intro music is awesome!!!
I have that red seiko #7. I put a two tone jubilee bracelet on it and swapped the timing bezel with a solid polished bezel. It looks great
The new intro music is perfection
A nice variety of watches.
Nr.11, the Seamaster GMT is just wrist candy 👍🏻 looking forward to the rest.
That glacier watch is gorgeous
Also own the Seamaster GMT, the Blue Seamaster, & the Speedy, Your videos are awesome!!!
Over 50k subscribers - cheers!🥂
He has 100x time the collection I have (which is not really a collection anyway), but I still take pride in that I have the same cases as him (Mirage).
You're right about that SM GMT. That thing is imo the quintessential Seamaster. No annoying He valve, still 300M w/r, and it's a GMT. I don't really care about the value on that thing, to me it's priceless, perfect color scheme. Overall can't be beat. Only issue for me is I needed an extra half link to fit properly...
Catching up on your videos after being sick. That silver bezel, blue (dial forerunner to AquaTerra?) is absolutely fantastic.
Never been Speedy fan like you did just add the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Apollo 11 piece to my collection.
One last comment: I heard your “Zinger” to Anthony toward the end of Pauls show about disappearing being part of TPG package. I quite literally blew a snot bubble!
Lmao
Best watch channel by a Richard Mile 🤪
Just poured a glass of red and this pops up on my feed 🙌🙌💪🍷👍
