SLEEPING IN A VENETIAN PALACE ON THE GRAND CANAL (private dock included)

- We have made it to Venice!! Not only did this city blow our minds the second we stepped out of the train station, but we are sleeping in a Venetian Palace on the Grand Canal complete with our own private dock! A highlight from the day was exiting the train station right onto the Grand Canal and jumping onto a private water taxi. We cruised the Grand Canal right to our private dock where we hopped off right at our door for the next couple of nights! Nothing seems real right now! We explore the apartment, watching a constant stream of gondolas pass by our windows, so naturally, we had to go experience that ourselves! Ricky took us around the canals on a peaceful ride, after which we walked the streets, got some pizza, and called it a night. So excited to explore Venice for the next couple days!

I love Venice! I was there 9 years ago with my family. I completely agree on when you first get there it’s like you’re on a movie set. The gondola ride is totally worth the price. You guys will love exploring the city!!
Hi! The fact that Italy is a very diverse country mainly depends on the fact that, despite having a thousand-year history, the country has only been united for just over 150 years. Previously it was divided into closed and independent cities. This is why it is enough to move only 30 km and find yourself in a totally different place with its culture, tradition, dialect, food, etc.
I love traveling and not cost me a thing ,lol. Love you guys

Im so pleased you are enjoying being in Venice, but as I suffer from depression, anxiety and stress and im struggling right now, Im only watching this because I love you both and your videos. However, I find Venice to built up and really struggle with the tight spaces between the buildings. Your airbnb has been decorated nicely but being so low and having people passing so close to the windows and the bars on the windows I just couldnt cope xx
I can’t wait to see more of Venice! What a cool place you are staying. I would be waving to everyone going by on the gondola’s all the time. 😅❤

I can take Venice off my bucket list thanks to you!! So excited for the next few days and seeing more! Streets of water.....such fun and so much quieter. I was very surprised at how narrow some of those canals are. That water taxi you took was very posh....wonder if they're all like that??

Venice is really beautiful, some areas especially on the side waters can be a bit stinky ,you have to see the Bridge of Sighs ,be safe and have fun 💕✌

Color me curious now about the water barrier system to keep the water out of your main floor room? Did you get an explanation on how it actually worked Daniel?
And do you have blinds or shutters to close up the windows so the gondolas don't see inside your room in the evenings?
