I saw The Association perform at Purdue University about 1973. I remember about eight people on the state, including several playing wind instruments. Of course, this was one of the pieces they performed.
I first saw The Association perform in concert in 1972. All of the original members of the group, apart from Russ Giguere, were there that night. They were absolutely superb in concert. Last year, I saw the band with only Associates Del Ramos and Paul Holland playing with the Happy Together band. I missed the 1972 lineup of this truly magnificent group. Requiem aeternam Brian Cole, Richard Thompson, Larry Ramos and Terry Kirkman.
The original lineup was truly spectacular. I wish I would’ve been born early enough to see them in their prime. Such fantastic harmonies. I enjoyed this lineup since they are keeping the musical legacy alive, but it is nowhere close to what they used to be.
I mean, no one will ever beat the original lineup. That being said, they’re doing their best to keep the music alive. The harmonies could’ve been better imo, but given their age, most people aren’t going to hit those notes in their prime, let alone when they’re in their 70’s.
Love this song still🎸💖
I can’t wait to see them in June!! ❤
Enjoy! It’ll be an amazing show!
Los amo mis preferidos los único y grandes ASSICIATIONS❤
I would love to see these guys this year!
Hope they tour somewhere near you! Definitely worth it!

The ones calling themselves the temptations should be arrested and jailed. When David ruffin died so did the band
100000000000000000000% great job
Good song
Bravo!
❤❤❤
A little weak....but hey, it's 55 years!! Love this group.
They’re okay but not the same as the REAL Association

True. The only singer that could hit the high notes at an older age was Jay Black from Jay and the Americans. It was amazing
@@doreenarchambeault7172 Frankie Valli and Lou Christie, too. :-)
@@scottmeyers7402 Frankie Valli tends to lip sync these days.
They should change their name to The Train Wrecks
I saw Frankie Valle a few years ago. He should retire
Painful. Like watching Willie Mays in the 1973 World Series.
It was nice seeing them perform, but they cannot hit those notes anymore. I appreciate them keeping the music alive though.
written by the Dick and Richard Addrisi bros,,,
Dick and Don.
Good grief, that was off-tune and just plain awful.
With the oldie groups, you get too much talk.
I personally enjoy hearing the backstories on the songs. Although some of the cringe jokes I can do without.
@@WalkerPolivka They do it because the stamina is gone. Couple stories a concert is ok. Not every song.
That's 1 or 2 less songs they don't have to sing. They don't want to exert themselves, and save they're fragile voices 😏
Saw this bad about ten hrs ago in citrus county fla not that good
