Omg, wish this was around 5 years ago. We took our special needs daughter with us everywhere. The most challenging thing was to find a place to change, feed or let her rest in private when travelling to beaches and parks. Public wheelchair accessible washrooms and change rooms are not, especially if one needs help getting in and out of their chair. We took our daughter everywhere with us and a van like this would have opened up so many more opportunities to get out and explore as a family. Will definitely be keeping this in mind as my husband and i get older. Thanks

Can never have too many grab bars. Also the drop down cabinet is short person friendly! As mobility challenged individual for the last 10 years - it's about time we were offered options.

While I was in Tampa I observed several people, confined to wheel chairs, looking at these units. In fact I met a person who had ordered, unseen this unit, and had traveled to Tampa to be in one for the first time. Those people I observed were extremely pleased. Kiddos to Winnebago!

Has to have & how to use each of them- I’m overwhelmed & I don’t know where to start. I don’t know what type of Van R.V. yet because I am saving money to purchase one. I really want to learn all about them so I know what I’m buying. Would you have a video that explains what each component is for & how to use them. I am all over the place here & there trying to learn how to use them & watch out for. Sorry for the long explanation, thank you Scott 🙏🏼

I did it first!
Out of necessity, after my Dad took a bad fall!
Had to remove my water tank and false floor-attached tie-downs then bought a manual 65lb ramp…. This is far and above way better ✔️
So glad wheelchair bound folks have this option, for those who am afford it…..bet MANY of our wounded warriors could have a better quality of life, with this rig giving them the freedom to roam!

Scott! Winnebago has come along way with making wheel access for Rvers. I give them a thumbs up. And hats off to them as well. That’s why I have always liked Winnebago. They were the first Rvs I had seen a friend of ours had and we loved it. Now they do Vans. Love them too! Great job Winnebago! 👍

Love this!!! My daughter and I both are in wheelchairs. I've been thinking about traveling on weekends and this would be perfect for us! I just bought a wheelchair van in April but this is definitely on my purchase list!!!❤❤

I am so pleased to see that mobility issues are being considered in vans! Yes♥️ Thank you Winnebago. A couple concerns:1) Does it gave a Volta or Lithionics system? Many individuals have medical devices that require electricity. 2) cassette toilet: is it the only option? The dry toilet system could be a better choice. Rolling the cassette to dump is a bit cumbersome. Also, many wheelchair restrooms are not designed to maneuver a wheelchair (crazy but true) so dumping there would be difficult. That leaves a dump station. Well, might as well have a good black tank system. 3) Hauling it home would be reduced range of travel, with only 5-6 gal cassette, unless storage for additional cassettes was available.
The table allows the whale to roll right up which is great. The completely flat floor is another plus. Now, if it had Volta, I would be all in, I could always add a mod on back to carry cassettes like water cans😊 if on a long trip or boondocking was the plan. So guess it all comes down to power. Great van for wheelchair bound. A power chair may impose a challenge based on its size. Love that hanging bag. That could be a great loft for TEXEDO!
I would like to see some strategically placed hang down pull straps from the roof that can be stowed to the side when not used. Maybe one at the bath and bed area and passenger seat. It would also be nice if a small fold out table for the passenger seat could be devised. Those UVL lifts are very nice. It's a win for many mobility challenged folks. Great job WB!

Very strong kudos for Winnebago! I did a search and so far can't find anyone doing this kind of build. Maybe one day other companies will catch on and we will see the innovation explode to new heights!

Congratulations to Winnebago for listening to customers and bringing to market an option for those who may not be able to use a traditional built van the ability to get out there. Love the fold down table. Assuming they did test this with users accessing those cabinets. Wondering about the height of the microwave. Overall looks great and well thought out. Thanks for the video coverage on this one.

Braun ability makes reliable ramps and lifts! When I think of being able to access my own van, it is emotional. Hope I can’t add a lift kit for clearance because the I’m ready for the adventure!

Looking for a class b that I can haul my ATTO Mobility scooter in... Travato 59gl and the LTVWonder wtb are of interest.... the new one from Italy. --but the 610 model---would be fine. if it had a generator or onboard eco battery system..

The 610 Wingamm may work well f the doors are wide enough.
My understanding is the overhead A/C is plug in only? No Gen or Lith to get A/C to the disabled ! If true this is a deal breaker….
Some wheelchair users have a system in power chairs that would enable them to reach it. No lithium power system is an issue, agreed

Omg, this would have made our life and our special needs daughter so much easier when was still with us. Always had a difficult time finding a place to change her , let her do her business or let her rest when we travelled as a family. Public restrooms and change rooms are not wheelchair friendly!

I BOUGHT ONE. Excellent idea, well executed but could be improved. 1. How about a power door? Try opening the siding door from a wheelchair. The Lift has a button that says DOOR so why not hook it up so it works? 2. Seat belts are terrible. The front two cut into your neck, the rear two are not designed for women and the one on the wheelchair needs tension to keep connected to the floor anchors. 3. Why TWO different size side windows? Seems to me to be an unnecessary complication to production. 4. Mine had a wall mounted hand rail between the toilet and curtain so you could not rotate the toilet towards the side door and use it. Loose that hand rail. 5. WHY all season tires when there are now all WEATHER tires that work better in snow? 6. Watch the passenger and weight stickers, some are wrong. 7. I ran into the problem that since people see WINNEBAGO they think it is an RV and not a handicap van. I had to add some stickers indicating it was a handicap van so I would not be harassed parking my "RV" in a handicap spot. 8. The rear seat needs the back to come up straighter. Right now it is like riding in a lounge chair but with no place to put your feet. Like I said, well executed but could be better.
