@@rippedkun As Cephalus an old man at this point said in Plato's Republic on aging and turning bitter: "...the complaints on this score, as well as the troubles with relatives, may all be referred to one cause, and that is, not the age, Socrates, but the character of the men. If they possess well-regulated minds and easy tempers, old age itself is no intolerable burden: if they are differently constituted, why in that case, Socrates, they find even youth as irksome to them as old age."
Turning 20 in about 2/3 months with this knowledge I am no longer bothered by leaving behind my teens, to be honest I didn't care for my teen years. All we need to do is keep our heads screwed on our shoulders correctly and not expunge our energy into drama and to add on this video the 'yolo' mindset. If you holdfast with a mind of steel my friend you will do bits in life and die in old age a happy man

    Important lessons :
    1. Choose delayed gratification
    2. Don't listen to
Unsuccessful , unhealthy and unhappy people...
    3. Build great habits like :
    Meditating
    Exercising
    Reading books
    Sleep well
    Journaling
    # Use your 20s to build the life for rest of your life...

I can't believe I'm 15 and I am watching videos on self-improvement for people in their 20s. What I can't believe even more, is that I do literally every single habit in this video. I work out everyday regardless my mood, do a lot of coding (a.k.a invest the time in my future carrier, currently I am working on my personal website), make youtube videos (so that I can gain some following and eventually make a side hustle off it, plus it's just a fun hobby), read plenty of useful, valuable articles and books and delay gratification as much as possible. I've now truly experience the loneliness self-improvement gives to me. Literally all of my "friends" have turned away from me and call me antisocial no-life wierdo. This is the first time such insults feel good, since at least I know that by "social" life the only thing they mean is hanging out and talking about bullshit, since that's literally what they do. I feel like I am quadrillion light years ahead of them in terms of life progress and mindset, and I think I have full rights to do so.

Started at 20 as well before UA-cam had all this info. I now am 31 and have an amazing built body from a decade of strength training, make 150k in big tech, 150k net worth, rock climb and do boxing weekly. Meditate, sauna and cold shower daily. Have an amazing girlfriend. No car payment.
I work about 4 hrs a day and I no longer have to clean much because I’ve got a maid to clean my apartment monthly. I no longer cook or meal prep and can afford factor to send me organic meal prepped meals. I walk 8k steps a day and life has never been better. Stay the course.
In your 20s Get a high income skill and set goals and work daily towards them. Avoid cheap dopamine like porn, video games and weed. Travel to build character and have stories to tell. Party so that you can experience it and no what to compare it against. You’ll learn hangovers aren’t worth it. You can Socialize at your hobby communities like martial arts, climbing, etc.
It’s all about doing things that are difficult/ make you uncomfortable early in the day and you’ll feel great the rest of the day. Enjoy the journey and don’t tell yourself you’ll be happy when X. You have to be happy now because the grind is all there is.

Your job is to mediate 2 hours, read 5 hours, journal 2 hours, etc. Realistically people do not have time to do all of those for as long as you if they do not get their money from it directly.
For a person with a different type of business/life - 20-30 minutes of meditation, reading 3 hours, working out 1-2 hours, journaling - 20 minutes, and wasting 1 hour in a day is pretty optimal and that will not ruin your life. Because during the rest of their time, they must hustle in their business
In your situation, Hamza, your business is learning and doing all of these self-improvement practices, so you HAVE to do them for 2-3 times longer than a person with another type of business.
4 hours of deep work for you and the person with a different type of business but then the "busy" work for both of you is different, so you save up from it.
Edit: I had 1 perfect productive month and was the happiest of my life and I am just saying that you don't have to copy Hamza with his time-table because it's unrealistic for most people, you can do his habits for 2 times lesser than him and you are going to be great

This. Not everyone can be a content creator. Hamza has done well for himself, but unless you have a great idea and succeed with it, you might have to take a delayed approach at his lifestyle. Not diminishing it by any means because it sounds wonderful, but unless you can live off someone else until you "make it", you might have to take his approaches in strides.
Don't aspire to be Hamza, just aspire to become the type of man he is. It may be easier for you, or it may be much more difficult for you. Work at the hardest pace you can, whatever that pace may be. Improvement is improvement and I wish he would remind his viewers that it's not always as simple as "Stop being a bitch and just do it". Sure, his target audience(kids) can probably take that approach and land on their feet if they fail, but not everyone can(AND THATS OKAY). Still don't be a bitch, but have a brain about it too. Do as much as you can and don't lie to yourself about the effort.

But now I know that I can do these tasks, bcz I did something small what's holding me back for doing something big. Rn I'm 15 and by watching Hamza I've been a better boy. I'm still a boy, growing up with all of you guys. My goal: mount Everest and beyond

Over the past few months I've really realized the importance of going all in on it so you can really get results. In these past few months, I have seen more improvement of myself than I saw in the past 5 years. I can't go back. I won't go back.

    • @nihartley5265
      @nihartley5265 2 роки тому

@@wazel7679 I understand that. When I first learned of it one of the main things I took from it was being confident. Throughout elementary school and some of middle school I was always hella shy and would never talk to someone unless they approached me. After I learned of self improvement I started actively forcing myself out of my shell. I had this exercise that I would do to get rid of my shyness. Basically forced myself to walk up to random people in the halls of school and compliment them on something random. From there I would continue the conversation if it seemed like they wanted to or just drop it if they didn't. At first it was hard, but it got easier and easier. In fact it has kinda built itself into a habit of mine. I often get into random conversations with people on the street.

I'm 32, definitely wasted my 20s but when I hit 30 I started feeling the need for a change. Its been on off until February of this year. I've gone from 220 lbs. to 166 lbs. as of today. I've completely cleaned up my diet, hit the gym every day, even if its not a lifting day I'll go do some incline walking on the treadmill. I got myself a good job that I don't hate, though I still hate the 9-5 lifestyle. My ultimate goal with everything I'm doing is to leave that lifestyle completely behind.
When I look back at where I was even just 3-5 years ago, I watched excessive porn, smoked weed, couldn't get women to save my life. I'm still nowhere near the level that I want to be but I'm working at it. I no longer smoke weed, I'm working on drinking less (only drink on the weekends but still, going out to drink/party every weekend is what keeps you satisfied. Work all week and blow off your steam with fake celebrations of nothing just to do it all over again.)
Its high time the cycle gets broken and as a 32 year old man Hamza, I appreciate you so much man. We're all going to fucking make it.

I say party on the weekend but during the week stay focused and work on your self, theirs always time for fun even when you’re busy on building yourself up. 30s is the time to have fun after you’ve built yourself up, and your 40s and 50s is the time to raise a family.

I APPROVE/AGREE SO MUCH HAMZA! (Here comes my story about going into adulthood, sorry for bad english)
When i were 15-16 i surrounded myself with friends who were older than me, they were all 21-23 year olds.
But now i'm 19 and understand that they were so stupid when they were my age, they complain about money and i as business owner (started when i was 13) and i gave some of them some money to make them happy, because i thought they really didn't have any money, but they all just used it to go on vacation/holiday.. Only to find out that one of them actually had a map of every place they have been on holiday put up on a wall in their apartment.
I should probably tell u that i have only been on vacation once when i was a kid as 7 years old, even tho i literally worked night and day, no parties, no fun, because i thought it was time taking..
I am now much more successful than all of them, and surround myself with maximum 1 friend, and rest is family.
And now i talk to my parents everyday about going to live in a nice country, with beaches, palm trees and such when i am 21.
    I love my life! 🤩

I just realize I am the same age as Hamza when he began living his life to the fullest - 22. Honestly I have been wasting my life my youth not knowing anything to do, unmotivated, addicted to video games, etc. But I know what to do now. Exercise to get stronger, work more to get money, improve my mental health for a better life.

I'm glad I got into this and came across you Hamza, even if I'm 27.
    Never too late to improve.

All you need in this life is a clear goal. The reason people end up mediocre
is a result of not defining the purpose of their existence.
Understand every path has hardships, and nothing good comes easy.
Also one person's definition of success is different than another's.
All the aspirations of men can be categorized into three divisions:
    1. physical strength.
    2. wealth
    3. wisdom.
I chose 1 and 3 and succeeded. The involvement in these two diverted my
attention from making money. Honestly I could care less, when you leave this
world you will take none of that money with you, but wisdom and good deeds
you take to the next world.
I never cared enough to make youtube videos, but shout out to hamza
he is doing a great service.

My story was I graduated college
Worked about 4 years, paid back all my debt, was worth zero.
And then realized my entire life
      I was just a slave.
      Then I became religious
      I'm Jewish by the way,
And have spent my life over
      Ten years on spiritual goals.
I would not trade what I have
      To be Elon musk.
      All these "successful"
      People are simply agents
To bring in a one world evil
      Government which is unraveling
Before your eyes if you haven't
Noticed. Call me lazy, you have been fooled . This world is almost completely run on lies and deception.

Turned 28 a month ago. To everyone younger, same age, and older - remember this: it is easy to lose sight of where you started from. No matter how much good AND bad you have performed on your journey, remember that it was all part of the cycle and will continue to be even as you improve. All you have is the present moment and the only duty you need to address is how you use that present moment. God bless you all - we're ALL gonna make it .

You deserve all your success and you've done extremely well hats off. But I don't think you realise or account for the fact that everyone has unique challenges and what worked so well for you isn't going to work the same way for everybody else. Your advice is great but stop assuming that everyone who isn't on your level is stupid or lazy. For many of them this will be the case, but for many it won't you don't know what people have been through and what they face. That being said I'm grateful for your channel I've learnt a lot from it.

Fair point, none of us are cut from the same cloth. Also what about those who are forever confined to wheel chairs, or those who need a white walking stick because they only see eternal darkness....very different struggles and everything takes longer for disabled people or for those who have certain comorbidities that can't be ameliorated with meds, interesting how he doesn't discuss those types of people though. Not trying to sound like a 'hater', but this fella should get off his sanctimonial high horse a little; talking down to everyone kinda looks weak after a while. Youth is wasted on the young.

I just find his advice to lack the basic understanding that not everyone is like him. What i do find him being the most wrong for in this video is definetly the whole "everyone around me is a loser" rant which is...quite honestly a pretty fucking retarded thing to say lol.
who is he to decide who is a loser or not? Sure there's a lot of cases where you can clearly tell they are a loser in life, but majority of people on this planet just simply live and enjoy their life for what it is. Seriously why is it so hard for every redpill youtuber to understand that not every person on this planet dreams BIG, wants to be a millionare or have this luxurious lifestyle with hot 10/10 women around them? There's a FUCKTON of people that just enjoy their simple life of a decent job, a hobby or two and friends and loved ones to meet up with. Its their right to decide what kind of life will give them the most happiness. Not everyone wants to chase a carrot on a stick forever until they die.
Ultimately it all boils down to happiness. and no one knows how to achieve it for yourself more than...well yourself. No redpill youtuber is gonna give you the answer. Especially one that is so arrogant that he will call everyone 'haters" or losers just because they question his believes and dont agree with him. Which is basically like 80% of those redpill guys and its hilariously ironic that for all their "confidence" and self-esteem, they get pissy so easily over some random internet dude not agreeing with what they say. You can see this in this video how he's so caught up in himself in that rant that he doesnt even realize how pathetic he sounds right now saying those things. This is why you ALWAYS should question your believes and believes of people you look up to. Never blindly follow people like Hamza, it will only lead you down a pretty shitty path of neverending self-improvement and toxic mentality. Take his advice with grain of salt instead, and look at it objectively. There is some really good advice among those videos, but a lot of it is covered with this pathetic redpill jargon BS.

My example is that i always knew what i wanted to do in life. I guess i am "special" in that way considering that 90% of my generation has no fucking clue what they are evne gonna do with their life right now. But i couldnt pursue it for the past 4 years due to some fucked up experiences in my life that destroyed me mentally and physically. Including school, death of one of my parental figures and of course the pandemic. I was in no shape to even begin to start doing anything again until fairly recently. No ammount of videos from arrogant redpill youtubers would have changed that.
So what? was i a complete "fucking loser" for 4 years due to circumstances that i had COMPLETELY no way of influencing? and no support from anyone around me? Its a miracle i havent commited suicide, thats how shit it was. I was through the shittiest times of my fucking life and i've only recently began recovering from it, And im supposed to be considered a loser by people like him despite that?
Well no. Because the truth is, life isnt as simple as these redpill youtubers make it out to be. It doesnt work that way. Everyone went or will go through their shittiest times and that doesnt make them losers because of it. A lot of people will not get up from it because they dont have the support they should have. So they end up living the way that mildly satisfies them. Some are content with their simple life, as i mentioned in my other comment. Its never as simple as they try to present it.

Great video, but there's one more important habit I would add to the list: Investing in your social life.
Since Covid I've been grinding a lot on my own working out, reading books, trying to cut instant gratification, all on my own.
So now that I've reached the point where my body looks good and my finances are stable, getting more social has become my top priority. I want to spend more time with my family, make new friends and deepen my existing friendships (with the right people). Great things can happen when you're alone, but they always feel better when you have people around that are close to you.

    • @ondrejhak8760

True. I have a college degree from mechanical engineering, decent job, working out, but I did not improve my social skills in my teens and early twenties and now I am an asocial who can't get girls, which really sucks and it isn't the best thing for mens mental health. I actually wish I partied more. I am 26 by the way.

    • @joeyfamous7134
      @joeyfamous7134 2 роки тому +2

@@ondrejhak8760 I'm an asocial engineer too and I wouldn't say partying is the solution. I had phases where I went out almost every weekend, but i found my circle actually getting more loose than tight. Getting drunk together isn't a very connecting thing to do.
So it's better to have sober quality time together. For me that means riding motorcycles together, playing stuff like volleyball or billard, hanging out at the lake, etc. You also meet new people from time to time automatically doing these activities, so no need to invest money and health into club entries and alcohol.

Just turned 20 and found ur channel yesterday after you were getting criticism online. I was into self improvement and exercising during lockdown times when I was 17/18 - gained some weight but stopped as I reached uni. I had an rough childhood and was scolded for things boys should do. My issue was I frequently indulged in looking at girls on social media and watching twerking videos which led to brain fog, anxiety and awkwardness around girls I found attractive. Thought about monetising my addiction and selling the content to other people but after watching your videos i deleted every vid and challenged my self to reduce social media intake and I’m now all in on self improvement. Switched my uni course to something that aligns with my purpose and now I’m gonna dedicate the rest of my life to it
