Good video. The bible also says make no oaths. Seems to discourage the use of lending.

He should not ask, you should offer back two cups of sugar…for the one you borrowed. And they would in turn refuse, thus saving face on all fronts

We can’t afford our debt to God this is why Jesus paid it in full on our behalf. 💜

What if you use debt to invest and your investments perform at a higher rate than the interest rate?

Well it's a bit like this.
My grandfather made his money by going to the auctions and then flipping what he bought for a profit. He would lie to people. Try to discourage them from cutting out the middle man to get what they needed. The man adds no value to society. It be one thing if actually fixed up what he bought before he sold it.
My pastor paid $2000 for a poorly designed saw to cut brick for his work. That constantly broke down, when there were cheaper more reliable options available to get the job done. A poor decision he only made because he was buying it with money that wasn't his.
Sure borrowing the money to make some money. Seems like a ok idea on paper. But much like most sin it opens up the box of greed, and swings open the door wide of addiction. If my pastor had to pay for it with money he worked for. Well he probably would have put more thought into who he got the saw from.

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:(Dtn 23,20) seems to me to also apply to this case
