NayaReadsandSmiles you re always so smily it makes me happy 😇😍 the long style is great 😍😍😍
I love this❤️
Definitely like the longer style vlogs
Love the new long style!! And also for another amazing historical fiction book check out "Shadow of the wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It is sooooo goood :)
These vlogs of yours make me so happy! Like i literally wake up looking forward to watching them on repeat! Best thing on youtube!
I’ve read the entire Outlander series and I am current on the TV show. Once you finish each book then you can start a season of the show, since each season is one book. Outlander and Voyager are my favorite! Welcome to the fandom...it’s a marathon, not a sprint 😉
I would like to thank God for giving you the idea to vlog longer I always want more naya in my day to make it brighter
IT IS MONDAY WHEN I'M WATCHING THIS
Same :)
Ditto lol
I've read and watched Outlander. You can watch the show after you read the book. Each season follows one book so you can watch season 2 after reading the second book and so on. I'm so glad you are reading and watching it! You are going to LOVE the TV show
The Outlander fandom grows.😁
I want to read outlander now 😭
please do!!
Hmmm for adults reads:
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller-my favorite book of the year so far
There's the A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy by V.E Schwab.
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
Oh my god, TSA is sooooo good. I loved it! It ripped out my heart and stamped on it. Several times.
Outlander the show is honestly so good, probably my favourite tv show right now!
17:11, I’m so glad you shared this because I needed that reminder. I need to get back to the fun and non-judgement of writing.
Gosh this makes me want to reread Outlander so bad!😍
rainbow rowell announced that there is a sequel to carry on! it’s called wayward son and it’s coming out in 2019. so freaking excited
I'm in the middle of reading Carry On right now and I'm procrastinating continuing it too because I love it so much 😅
Okay I loved outlander and I'm reading a dragonfly in amber right now but I keep having to take breaks because Diana gabaldon is really breaking my heart like every eighty pages with this one
Can we be friends lol, you are my spirit animal ❤️❤️ The way you geek out speaks to me on a whole other level!!! Btw love the sweater and reading nook/fort!!
You can watch the first series of outlander after reading the same thing. The series correspond with the books 1st series- 1st book. I'm so glad you are enjoying Outlander I'm currently on the 5th book. The 2nd book is definitely my favourite though!! Hope you enjoy them
I love that hair color! What temporary dye did you use?! You have me wanting to read outlander so much now 😍
I have never read outlander or watched the tv show but I think you should watch the tv show first because when you read the book then you can imagine things better and have a clear view of what the characters look like. Also when you read the book first it has a lot of details and the tv show hasn’t, so when you watch the tv show first the book might surprise you with things that weren’t on the show
Greetings from Holland🤗
I loved the hair! You are gorgeous✨
Read Red Rising, omg it’s amazing, I love it beyond to death. It’s just perfection.
Danielle Steel is like the queen of adult fiction, Nora Roberts is great as well, Debbie Macomber and Janet Evanovich is also really great authors too! Hope you enjoy the new world of Adult Fiction! Love the long video style!
As a Brit the lack of a kettle has confused me to no end! Haha
Midnight by Sister Souljah The whole series is explicit but it's got love and it's really good. From a 16year old perspective it's the best adult book I've read
Shomari Love have you tried coldest winter ever? And the porshe Santiago story? All by sister Souljah and they both are really good.
Tkeyah Robinson nope heard they weren't better than midnight
I love your hair! It’s so golden:) and I’m a slow writer too I’m glad I’m not the only one
The longer the better!!!
Naya you're videos always make me smile
When u said u felt like u were reading the last harry potter book i found that so funny bc technology Carry On is a Drarry fanfic of Harry Potter. Written as the last book in the series 🤓
You're so enthusiastic every time in your videos and that is just so comforting! Thank you for so much positivity! You are so lovely, smiling all the time, it just makes me want so hard to be your friend haha really! Please don't stop doing weekly vlogs these are amazing! Love from Paris 💕
Really enjoyed this!! I want to read Outlander now. I need to stop watching bookish videos before my book buying gets out of hand! XD
you made me want to read Outlander soooo much that I literally went to the bookstore right after the end of your video and bought it and now I’m a hundred pages in and I love it already so I’m really glad that I found your channel
When you know a book is so good but you don’t want to finish it! Yes that is me. I did that with City of Heavenly Fire. I didn’t want the series to be over 😅
Btw that shade of brown really suits you. It’s such a nice change. You look really nice with the temporary hair colour. I say go for it, and dye your hair permanently!! :)
You should read The Bronze Horseman! It's Historical Fiction with Romance. I think you would love it
Kate Morton is my favorite author and she writes historical fiction. She's my favorite author because I get so immersed into her books- the story and characters! Her writing and her descriptions are beautiful! There's usually a mystery weaved into the story, which I love, but I also get easily attached to her characters. The Forgotten Garden is my favorite but The House At Riverton comes in a close second. Those are a couple recommendations :D
This video made me smile. Have been a lover of the outlander series long before the tv series came out. Such a well written series with highly in depth characters and tough plot lines in parts of the books. But cannot gush how much I love her writing style. Hope to 're read this series this year.
Also love ur channel. Started following u last year. Found this video in my you tube feed today. I have about 5 book tubers that I follow every week.
Great job on the videos I have seen from u so far.
I LOVE your hair!
The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. 1920s NY. 2 Fantasy beings. 1 great complicated adventure
DO MORE READING VLOGS! Love when you do vlogs, its so relaxing and fun to watch. Keep them coming xx
OMG, I just accidentally find your video and I freaking love your style, energy, sweetness and gorgeous smile! Instantly subscribed your channel 😊 I also LOVE Outlander (I finished book 4)!! I look forward to watch your work 😉 kisses from Portugal.
Outlander is amazing!!! Also I highly recommend Nevermoor the trials of Morrigan Crow . It is a middle grade book that just came out and it is so unique!!!!
You can watch the series after you read the first book because each season is about each of the books season 1 is book 1 season 2 is book 2 and season 3 is book 3. I am also happy that you found Outlander it's a really great book series. i am actually going to be starting book six.
I have yet to read the Outlander books, but I really enjoyed the first season of the show and just recently started the second season, so I think I'll make the books a priority after I'm finished with A Song of Ice and Fire. I've been reading A Game of Thrones for over a year now, just taking my time with it, and discovered that it's easiest for me to grasp what's happening by re-watching the first season at the same time. Since it looks like it'll take me a bit before getting to Outlander, I may end up doing the same thing. But your excitement for it has made me want to read it for sure now.
The Shannara Chronicles would be a good read.
I had the same feels at the end of Outlander... I love Jamie & Claire, and their love, and I am a fan of historical romance. Best of both in one. I own all but the last book in this series in hardcover which I acquired happily from a Library unhaul! SQUEEEE! I admit I am greedily watching for them to let go of the last book... it will be happier on my bookshelf with the rest of its family🤓.
His Majesty's Dragon and Wicked are my favorite Adult Fantasy novels.
So I love Outlander. I re read that and Dragonfly in Amber before the show season premiere. I finished Voyager in a month and 2 days. I love that your loving it. Enjoy❤
Also I recommend the lost letter by Jillian Cantor- it's so good!
If you want a fluffier version of Outlander I'd suggest Beyond the Highland Mist. It's still got that historical Ireland and time travel vibe but is more focused on the romance and the life of the girl rather than anything political. :)
I’m on the fourth book Drums of Autumn! It’s sooooo good!
Can you make a video for every outlander book you read?
Finish the book and watch the firt season. Outlander it´s so alike to the books!
What you said about 'Carry On' by Rainbow Rowell is how I feel about 'Heartless' by Marissa Meyer. I kept putting it down and getting distracted by other things at the beginning, but then I got really into it and now I don't want it to end :(
I get so I excited when you upload! Great vlog Naya!
I love the show.
I want to read Outlander that's why I'm watching this again to fully convinced myself to finally read it. x
The tome 1 of Outlander corresponds at a little bit more than the serie. The season 1 ends a little bit before the end of the book 1
You always give me good vibes!! Love you girl!
Love the video Naya! I just placed an order for Outlander because I keep hearing nothing but lovely things about it. A book I recommend for adult fiction is hands down "A Tale for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki it will change your life and it is just beautiful! I also loved "Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close" good luck with reading and all of the school work you can do it!
p.s I don't know if you drink tea, but I thought I'd also recommend Chrysanthemum tea with honey or ginger (its SOOOO delicious and basically how I survive all my school work/reg work)
love, light, and pixie dust
Kira
I found your channel yesterday by accident and since then I am obsessed girl, haha I am watching all of your videos you are so so amazing and I love the way you talk about books. Big Hug from Vienna, Austria :)
Your hair is so pretty! I really enjoyed watching your vlog. I enjoyed Outlander too. It was slow for me the first one hundred pages but once I was past that, I flew through it. I have all of the Outlander books so far in paperform and all but the last one in digital form. I am up to book six though have been really taking my time to gap it out until she comes out with the next book in the series. For recommendations that I can think of at the moment- Susanna Kearsley writes similar to Diana though her books aren't quite as long and every one I've read has been hard to put down. Mercedes Lackey is another great author who mixes historical with fantasy. If you're a fan of reading about Charles Dickens, check out Mr. Dickens and His Carol by Samantha Silva. Also the Noctis Magicae series by Sylvia Izzo Hunter (think Magical School meets Historical Fiction) . I know you mentioned not usually reading much for romance so tried to think of ones that weren't heavily romantic. Hope that helps!
I LOVE your hair!! It's so cute 😍
i put off watching this coz i wasn't sure i wanted to watch 25 minutes but you are so cute and this was so good and i swear it only felt like a 5 minute vlog and i could have watched more! i appreciate the post good book dance party feels
I would recommend A Song of Ice and Fire- don't be intimidated, its a little bit hard, and there are some very slow chapters but do it, its well worth it
The series is fantastic. I’m currently on book 5 and the seasons match up with the books so you can watch season 1 after Outlander
Nice! I've heard nothing but good things about Outlander :]
Read Game of Thrones!! They're the first adult books I read too and they are seriously AMAZING!
Girl I just bought outlander today
With outlander, the first book covers the first season of the show :)
Not sure if it continues that way though
Ur hair is so beautiful I love it 💙also love this vlog!!
You ordered the mass-market paperbacks of the next Outlander books🤣
I still need to read outlander, I haven’t gotten round to it yet. But I am currently up-to-date with the TV series, nearly finished Season 3.
Loving the long vlogs type of videos 💗
I’m 13 years old and my teachers are really pushing me to read more adult novels and I’m kinda scared😭... YA books are my go to books. I really want Carry On by Rainbow Raul❗️❗️😫😫😫I love your personality and without you I would not have motivation to keep reading, ty❤️
Emily Tutu (yes this is late) you should read what you want. Don’t let anyone else push you into reading something you know you don’t want to read. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t read adult books, and if young adult books are your go to...keep reading them.
I love long vlogs! The longer the better😉
OMG you should read A Song of Ice and Fire! I think you’d really like it because it’s the perfect mix of fantasy, drama and political intrigue and it’s also influenced by historical events. I just started reading it this year and am currently on A Dance with Dragons and it’s replaced Harry Potter as my favourite series of all time!
Hmm, some adult book I can definitely recommend is Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, the Raven's Peak series by Lincoln Cole and American Gods by Neil Gaiman
I love week long vlogs!
I missed reading with you!!!! Great vlog!
I recommend The Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I'm not sure if is in the category of "adult fiction" but it reads alot more mature and is historical fiction. I say give it a try. The writing is very beautiful and the world is very enchanting. One of my favorite books I read in 2017
omg read What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty! it’s like. an adult version of YA? idk if that makes aaaaany sense at all. but it’s soooo good!
I love longer videos! You always put a smile on my face and this way I can enjoy you more! Also, have you read any book by V. E. Schwab? Her way of using words to describe things is just incredible and I love her writing! 😍❤
More videos like thissss!! 💕💜
It’s taken me sooooooo long to read outlander (finally nearly done), but I actually want to continue with the series
omg you’re so pretty
The Shades of Magic series is a great Adult series.
Did you end up cleaning the room? Just wondering
Yes I did! LOL XD
you can watch the first season after the first book
I love ur vlogs! Please do more
I highly recommend Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. It's historical fiction & it is such a beautifully written novel.
I'm loving the long vlogs! (Also, where did you get that sweater at 9:17? It's so cute!)
Wish I could sleep that long! I can't as I'm a mum 😊
Where do you get your shirts??? I love them so much
I highly recommend The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah! My number one book of the year.
The nightingale Kristin Hannah, the darkest hour,
I like them being long.
If you want to read adult the you should read Colleen Hoover's books. I would really like to know your opinion on them
IT IS SO GOOD. I’m always so happy when I see other people enjoying Outlander.
I really loved like the first half of outlander. It was right up my street. But for some reason I had to stop reading it, it got to violent for me, or maybe I felt personally disrespected at how the male characters treat woman. And then I started the first season of Outlander and the last episode was also kind of to disturbing for me. I don't know. I am to big of a softy for this book series. But I am glad other people like it.
I looooove long vlogs~
Hi, I think you should read As Small As An Elephant. It's short, but very good.
I have that exact same Captain America shirt lmao
