I acquired this lock-box years ago and never knew how to set the password. During a recent move the lock-box was found and my son tried and tried to figure out how to set the pass code. ( I had never closed the box since I didn't know how to open it). UA-cam and your tutorial solved the problem. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video. I was forgetting rotate the center spindle until the notches line up before putting the rings back in. So thanks again for the reminder of exactly how to reset my lockbox.

We were selling them at a yard sale and I kept telling people to check UA-cam to learn how to change the combo. But when I searched I didn't find any instructions. oops! So I had to record a tutorial and upload quick-like. :)

Hi Gary-Thank you for the video.I have the key box like yours but the inside is plastic- it does not have the metal backing with the 3 screws. Is there info on how I can get the back off?
Gary, great video! My only problem is that I should have watched this before I opened up the lock! I removed the screw from the center spindle, which now I know is a mistake, and those pieces came falling out as well. Do you know the order for these pieces to be reassembled? If not, I guess it goes in the trash.
At 1:26 in the video you will see the 3 flat edges on the layers of the spindle that have notches. Each letter disk has grooves for each letter. Align the groove of your first letter with the notch on the spindle and slide it to the bottom. Then do the same for letter #2 and #3.

I had a hard time seeing the C A T disk location, once the disks were dropped in. Where does the letter have to line up with?
