    I love it, this should be a recurring series to increase the variety. After practicing a couple of the punches I feel like I'm starting to memorize the video rather than look for the proper telegraphs to know what punch is coming. Doing this video with different combinations each time could help build a playlist that we can put on shuffle, and force us to work on our reaction speed and look for the right tells to dodge the punch. Just a suggestion, love the video since this exactly what I need to improve my game.

    • @alexong2542
      @alexong2542 4 роки тому +19

      @Luka Merkviladze this is like a drill practice to implement into your muscle memory. The more you train in head movements , by slipping or bobbing and weaving , the faster your reflexes will be in sparring or real fights.
      I would suggest you spend half an hour or more just non stop head movement training with a partner. You may start slowly , and slowly building up speed into it.

    • @alexong2542
      @alexong2542 4 роки тому +13

      @Luka Merkviladze in sparring , it's all about the mental game , rather than the physical. If you're afraid , of course, you'll tense up
      Don't think of it like a life or death situation. Think of it as a game. A fun game , where you tag with your fists

    I can’t explain how much this helped, I had all the dodging moves down I just needed to reflex train myself. I still get hit obviously, but it’s way less common and it’s also helped build my confidence. I don’t have to be too scared of getting hit because I know I put in the work to avoid it when it comes time to put it in action

    As a amateur fighter i still come back to this fun work out. If anyone is still watching this gem a fun way to add some spice to this is once you start getting used to the head movement add some counters in there rather that be slip n rip, block n counter or pivot your foot after sliping or rolling to change the angle that way it becomes more of a virtual sparring match!!! Thank you @fightTIPS for the years of knowledge you have given us ❤ love from Rochester NY 🗽

    • @Raymund38TVM

      I share my experience to you bro being a former amateur boxer, I had 17-0-0 record bro as an amateur, my coach was not instantly trained me in the bags, he start to trained me in the basic way like Jogging 20 minutes then he add 5 minutes every week until I already surpassed 30minutes jogging without rest that is he's minimum.
      After I surpassed that 30minutes jogging everyday, he started to trained me in jumping rope for my balance and awareness footwork that's 2 weeks bro only rope training.
      Then after than he started to trained my head movement I remember that's a water bottle bro 😂 I need avoid water bottle then when I already surpassed 1 water bottle he add another 1 water bottle that I need to avoid 😂 that's 3 weeks bro before i already know how to avoid water bottle that is a punches 😂
      Then he started to trained me into the pads how I position my legs foot and throw straight jab and hook and also avoid the pads to land into my head that's 3 months of practice bro after that he train me into a heavy bag my body started to pain 😂😂 but my coach said that is normal and needed for the heavy punches.
      So it almost 1 year of training to became a boxer then my first 1 to 7 fight is so easy bro because my opponent is not having a proper training, but my 15 fights is my worst fight ever bro 😂 I expirience to crack into my upper nose its continued to bleed but I didn't want to lose my undefeated amateur record so I continued the fight until round 3 and I win. I win 2 fights more bro. Before I completely gone in boxing due to motorcycle accident causing my right legs broke.
      But I love boxing bro this is my only 1 sport that I love so I started to trained kids 7 to 10 years old age both gender male or female kids.
