I am delighted to listen to the great Messianic Jewish apologist of our times Dr.Michael Brown. His theological master piece is Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus with its scripturally based solid arguments. His personal testimony "From LSD to PHD" can even convince skeptics that there is no argument against a changed life. What remains unforgettable for me is listening to his debates with Jewish rabbis on UA-cam proving from the original Hebrew Scriptures that Yeshua indeed is the Jewish Messiah foretold in the Bible. ❤ God bless you both my dear brothers in Jesus 🙏 and make your ministry more and more compelling to expand the Kingdom of God.

Great discussion and testimony, thank you!
There is one thing though that I would like to mention if I may: the vegan diet is a detoxing/fasting and slimming diet (catabolism) but it is not meant to be a maintenance or a building diet (anabolism) over a longer period of time.
Quality animal products contain bioavailable nutrients whereas plants contain a lot of antinutrients that make nutrient absorption less effective than animal products. The plant antinutrients also tend to accumulate in the body over time - such as oxalates from greens and green juices, goitrogens in brasicca veggies, lectins in beans etc. Too much soy and soy-derived products such as tofu, tempeh etc contain a lot of phytoestrogens that can lead to hormonal imbalances in both men and women. There are antinutrients in grains and legumes as well, and generally in all the plant foods vegans consume in large quantities.
Long term vegans can develop iron deficiency anemia, B12 deficiency, SIBO and other digestive issues and a host of other serious conditions. Please watch the YT channel Vegan Deterioration to see the deleterious physical and mental effects of long term vegans.
The scientific information offered by vegan doctors (many of whom actually look awfully unhealthy) is truncated i.e. they cherry pick the info from the journal articles they cite. Dr Michael Greger is one such doctor and he has been caught with such truncated scientific info.
Ancestrally we are meant to eat primarily animal products and this has been demonstrated with the N15 isotope examining what our ancestors ate. It is encoded in our genes to eat animal products and our stomach acid ph is naturally very low, like that of carnivores and scavengers who are built to consume animal products.
I originally come from a developing country where the whole population was forced by the Communist dictatorship to eat mainly plant foods (animal foods were prohibitively expensive and were available only on the black market at a high cost). I saw first hand the long term effects of a plant based diet on the population and how debilitating it is over a longer period of time - it weakens the body and its immunity and slows down self-healing.
You may not feel the negative effects of it because human bodies are resilient and can go deep in the nutrient stores accumulated when the body was fed animal products. Plant foods are not absorbed well at all and consuming them in large quantities can be more detrimental than beneficial over time.
Initially the feel good effects and great energy on a vegan diet stem from no longer eating junk foods and losing weight and improving insulin resistance. However after a while, the nutrients deplete in the body's storage; the plants are not that bioavailable and the plant antinutrients increase in the body, the high fibre in plants can create digestive issues, bloating and cramping - all this creates the perfect storm for the body to weaken and deteriorate more and more. There are also essential nutrients that can only be found in animal products.
Please revisit the scientific information and examine not just what vegan doctors say (which is highly cherry-picked) but study comparatively other diets too and their peer-reviewed scientific information.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you find it helpful. I have seen too many people suffer the negative effects of a long term vegan diet - especially in children - not to say something when such matters are discussed.

Not to be a vegan apologist or anything but...
Vitamin B12 is not CONSUMED. It is produced by bacteria in the ileum. It may possibly be produced by bacteria elsewhere too. You need a source of Cobalt. The "B12" people talk about is most likely and analogue, and useless from my research over the last 8 years. Iron is a harder one, as I will agree with you that heme iron is the far superior source of Fe. That doesn't mean that being vegan guarantees that you will be deficient though. SIBO is probably the biggest threat to a vegan who is not metabolically stable, and is not consuming as much Thiamine as they are using to digest their food. Most of the bacteria that are involved in SIBO enjoy a carb rich diet. Conversely, a digestive system that is not prepared to accept animal products will have a flood of undigested proteins and fat flowing downstream to the colon and terminus ileum where they can manifest in some truly scary infections. Ask the majority of c diff patients what they ate before infection and most will tell you they were NOT vegans...
But yes, it is a great way to heal after injury to the digestive tract, or weight issues etc. Most people's bodies will tell them when they need animal foods though. When you are ill, you probably wont want those foods anyways... Just listen to your body.

Thank you very much for your scientifically rigorous evidence 👍 provided by you elaborately to warn us of the detrimental effects of relying purely on a vegan diet on a long-term basis. I concur with it wholly.

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

the first resurrection comes at the beginning of the millenial reign ( REVELATION 20: 4-6). the resurrection is at the last trumpet (1 corinthians 15:52), and this is at the end of the great tribulation. jesus must remain in heaven until the father restores everything ( acts 3:21). jesus will return visibly, so there's no secret rapture ( acts 1:11). paul combines the rapture and the second coming together ( 2 thessalonians 2:1). the rapture can't occur until the rebellion occurs and the anti- christ appears (2 thess 2:3). in john 11:24 martha says " I know he (lazarus) will rise again at the last day". notice that the rez is at the last day. the last day is obviously at the end of the great trubulation period. there are not two second comings. It's called the day of the lord. there are other verses that make it impossible for there to be a pre trib rapture. I did not mention them all. the parable of the wheat and tares only describes the rez as the harvest. It does not give an exact time for it. The pre-trib rapture cannot be proven from scripture. I used to believe it to, until I studied and found it to be untrue.

It says that the dead in Christ will rise first. I would assume that the dead in Christ are already in heaven. If Jesus is going to come rapture us out of here, and than we're just going to be sitting up in heaven waiting to come back down with Jesus, then why does the dead in Christ rise first? The final resurrection of all the dead is at the end of the millennial reign. I believe that when Jesus comes back the second time we're going to be ruling and reining on earth with Jesus. If you read the book of Revelation you'll realize that there are two resurrections of the dead. There is a resurrection before the millennial reign and after.
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
      1 Thessalonians 4:13‭-‬18 NASB1995
      bible.com/bible/100/1th.4.13-18.NASB1995
Does that sound like people are going to be secretly raptured out of here? The only way you can make a pre rapture makes sense is if you believe in purgatory. I personally don't believe that the Bible supports that theology at all. This brings me back to my main question. Why does the dead in Christ rise first?

    • @triumphk9training687
      @triumphk9training687 2 роки тому

The only conclusion I can come up with is that this happens all as one event. Meaning that Jesus doesn't come back multiple times, but He comes once before the millennial reign. That means that the Rapture happens at His second coming to earth.

@@triumphk9training687 the dead in Christ rise first for our rewards at the judgement seat of Christ there is no separation it is only those who are in Christ . Purgatory? What ? How do you come up with that ? Those who are dead in Christ are with Christ spiritually their bodies are in the ground they have not received their new bodies as of yet that will happen when the rapture happens . Just like the ones who are alive receive their new bodies incorruptible. As I said before Jesus was the first resurrection . First fruit if you will . There are more than one time for the first resurrection otherwise we missed it . Rev 19 we come back with him from where ? Heaven that is where he is . Jacob’s trouble is designed for Jews not the church . There is what is called the church age which will end at the rapture . The mediation of the Lord Jesus Christ is an atonement, which means that He mediates for the forgiveness of our sins, being the Atoner who paid our debts on our behalf. His mediation means that He says to the Father: "Do not count their transgressions because I have carried their iniquity" (Is.53:6). Thus He stands as a Mediator between God and men; or rather, He is the only Mediator between God and men; He fulfilled God’s Divine Justice and granted people the forgiveness of sins, by dying for them.
      (1John.2: 1,2 , 1Tim.2: 5,6
This type of mediation is utterly unquestionable. It is attributed to Christ only, whereas the intercessions of the saints or Mother Mary has no connection with atonement or redemption. It is intercessions for us to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
The intercessions of the saints or Mother Mary for us are merely praying for us; they are of the pleading type, which is completely different to Christ's atoning mediation
This is sanctioned by the Holy Bible which says: "...pray for one another" (Jas.5: 16). The saints themselves asked people to pray for them. St. Paul said to the Thessalonians: "...pray for us" (2Thess.3: 1) and asked the Hebrews the same request: "Pray for us" (Heb.13: 18). He also said to the Ephesians: "...praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - and for me" (Eph.6: 18,19),
The request to pray for one another is countless in the Holy Bible. If the saints ask us to pray for them, shall we not ask them to pray for us? If we ask the prayers of those who are still in their spiritual combats, subject to sufferings like ourselves", shall we not ask the prayers of the saints who completed their striving and departed to Paradise, living with Christ? Or have these saints been demoted after their departure from earth to Paradise so that we are only allowed to ask their prayers when they are on earth and forbidden to do so when they are in Paradise close to God? If we ask the prayers of human beings, is it too much to ask the prayers of saints and Mother Mary ?
      Example in
      (a) The story of our Father Abraham and King Abimelech.
"Now therefore, restore the man's wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live" (Gen.20: 7)
      (b) The story of Job and his three friends.
'My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly' " (Job.42: 7,8).
      (c) The intercession of Abraham for Sodom
..... I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty... I will not destroy it for the sake of ten" (Gen.18: 26-32).
The phrase 'for the sake of" has its divine value which signifies that God saves persons for the sake of others and it is also a clear proof of the mediation of the righteous for the sake of sinners. The Lord accepts this mediation without the beneficiaries asking for it.
      (d) The intercession of Moses for the people of Israel. Ex.32: 7-14
      (e) Read 1Kin. 11: 12,13 and 1Kin.11: 31,32,34
In one chapter the Lord repeats the phrase 'for the sake of My servant David" three times. That is why the Psalmist prayed to Him, saying: "For Your servant David's sake, do not turn away the face of Your Anointed" (Ps. 132: 10).
If David has such favour with God, how much more has the Virgin Mary, the angels, John the Baptist who is the greatest born of women, and the martyrs who were tortured and tasted death for the sake of the Lord?
Therefore, since we ask the prayers of our fellows on earth, why do we not ask the prayers of those whom "shine like the brightness of the firmament" (Dan.12: 3)? And why do we not ask the prayers of those who fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith (2Tim:4: 7)?
If intercession, which is prayer, is considered mediation, and if every mediation is unacceptable, then every man's prayer for the sake of another is an unacceptable mediation since we have only one Mediator!

God forbade the worship of statues, but he did not forbid the religious use of statues. Instead, he actually commanded their use in religious contexts!
      *God Said to Make Them*
People who oppose religious statuary forget about the many passages where the Lord commands the making of statues. For example: “And you shall make two cherubim of gold [i.e., two gold statues of angels]; of hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat. Make one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece of the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on its two ends. The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be” (Ex. 25:18-20).
David gave Solomon the plan “for the altar of incense made of refined gold, and its weight; also his plan for the golden chariot of the cherubim that spread their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord. All this he made clear by the writing of the hand of the Lord concerning it all” (1 Chr. 28:18-19). David’s plan for the temple included statues of angels.
Similarly Ezekiel 41:17-18 describes graven (carved) images in the idealized temple he was shown in a vision, for he writes, “On the walls round about in the inner room and [on] the nave were carved likenesses of cherubim.”
      *The Religious Uses of Images*
During a plague of serpents sent to punish the Israelites during the exodus, God told Moses to “make [a statue of] a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and every one who is bitten, when he sees it shall live. So Moses made a bronze serpent, and set it on a pole; and if a serpent bit any man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live” (Num. 21:8-9).
One had to look at the bronze statue of the serpent to be healed, which shows that statues could be used ritually, not merely as religious decorations.
Catholics use statues, paintings, and other artistic devices to recall the person or thing depicted. Just as it helps to remember one’s mother by looking at her photograph, so it helps to recall the example of the saints by looking at pictures of them. Catholics also use statues as teaching tools. In the early Church they were especially useful for the instruction of the illiterate.
But there’s no idolatry going on in these situations. God forbids the worship of images as gods, but he doesn’t ban the making of images.
It is when people begin to adore a statue as a god that the Lord becomes angry. Thus, when people did start to worship the bronze serpent as a snake-god (whom they named “Nehushtan”), the righteous king Hezekiah had it destroyed (2 Kgs. 18:4).
Though bowing can be used as a posture in worship, not all bowing is worship. In Japan, people show respect by bowing in greeting (the equivalent of the Western handshake). Similarly, a person can kneel before a king without worshipping him as a god. In the same way, a Catholic who may kneel in front of a statue while praying isn’t worshipping the statue or even praying to it.
Early in its history, Israel was forbidden to make any depictions of God because he had not revealed himself in a visible form.
But later God did reveal himself under visible forms, such as in Daniel 7:9: “As I looked, thrones were placed and one that was Ancient of Days took his seat; his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, its wheels were burning fire.”
The Holy Spirit revealed himself under at least two visible forms-that of a dove, at the baptism of Jesus (Matt. 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32), and as tongues of fire, on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4).
But more important, in the incarnation of Christ his Son, God showed mankind an icon of himself. Paul said, “He is the image (Greek: ikon) of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” Christ is the tangible, divine “icon” of the unseen, infinite God.
Common sense tells us that, since God has revealed himself in various images, most especially in the incarnate Jesus Christ, it’s not wrong for us to use images of these forms to deepen our knowledge and love of God. That’s why God revealed himself in these visible forms, and that’s why statues and pictures are made of them.
Catholic Church has consistently condemned the sin of idolatry. The Catechism of the Council of Trent (1566) taught that idolatry is committed “by worshipping idols and images as God, or believing that they possess any divinity or virtue entitling them to our worship, by praying to, or reposing confidence in them” (374).
What anti-Catholics fail to recognize is the distinction between thinking a piece of stone or plaster is a god and desiring to visually remember Christ and the saints in heaven by making statues

@Nicole Yoshihara But it is a "nice" thing to say because what racerx said is TRUTH. I was raised Roman Catholic & questioned some teachings &practices. I thought I'd understand 🤔 when I grew up as the adults seemed to understand. Well, I realized the adults did not understand they simply accepted. PRAY, then READ the bible, you will then recognize falsehoods. 🙏 Pray, with YOUR words NOT WITH UTTERANCE of MANY WORDS as when you use a rosary! Dr Brown
    Awnser this
    Breakoff of the Christians
The original Christians were Jews who acted Jewishly in all respects except for their belief in Yeshu. Eventually, the Christians realized that the Jewish people would not accept their idolatrous beliefs, and decided to introduce their religion to the Gentile world. Instrumental in this endeavor was a Jew named Paul, with whom the major tenets of Christianity originate. In order to make Christianity palatable to non-Jews, Paul taught that the Torah's commandments do not have to be kept; instead, faith in Yeshu was all that mattered.
Paul traveled all over the Roman Empire, attracting many converts to Christianity, a new religion which borrowed ideas from the Torah, some of its morals and ethics, and some rituals, which Paul combined with pagan rites. Not content with rewriting basic Judaism, Paul also claimed that the gentile Christians supplanted the Jews as G‑d's chosen people, and that the Christian New Testament had replaced the Torah. He also taught that the Jews killed Yeshu and could only be saved only if they turn to his worship. Such teachings, although not the sole basis for Christian anti-Semitism, played a significant role in the way post-Pauline Christians viewed the Jewish people. As two scholars put it:
“Those who believe Paul taught such ideas are able to cite many passages from his own writings in support of their interpretation. If they are right, he must be held responsible for the theological anti-Judaism that soon grew up in the Church and proved to be the ancestor of later anti-Semitism. In any case, since his writings so eloquently set forth the Christian myth, inherently anti-Jewish as it turned out to be, he can hardly escape all responsibility for the implications that later generations found in it."
"So when it comes to the question of the origin of Christian hatred for Jews, Paul is at the story's center. His letters, as the oldest extant Christian writings, show him at his most flawed. His rage, prejudice, and self-obsession are as evident as his courage, gentleness, and faith."
By 100 CE, Christianity was an exclusively non-Jewish religion.

Now since you are taking a literal understanding of the scripture, I want you to tell me when and where exactly did Paul claim that Jesus Christ is in the wilderness/desert? He only says that he saw Jesus during his immoral mission (persecuting Ch,ristians).
It's not new knowledge that Jesus reveals himself to people in the wrong path. These verses are only talking about people claiming to be messiahs and people worshipping false messiahs. Now, if you're still going to claim that Paul saw a "false Jesus", then prove it by showing how exactly Paul contradicts Jesus in his teachings. Go ahead.
