Though raised in a Jewish household, Danna Weiss connected more with New Age beliefs. For many years, Weiss worked as a proficient professional crystal healer and Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher. But after suffering from severe physical ailments and traumatic visions that her metaphysical practice couldn’t assuage, Danna questioned her beliefs. Soon after, she began to follow Yeshua and immediately began to heal. Today, she shares her experience with those in similar situations, offers support, and helps them find a new path to freedom.

I was born of Jewish parents, Jewish by blood. They were agnostic, but we still identified with Jews. My parents wanted to give me a fair shot at learning about the religion, and sent me to a kind of Sunday school, where we'd be told tales of old, and I was completely uninspired and disinterested. Years later, I studied various religions, some Eastern, and I think I learned from all of them, but like the lady here says, I never felt God in my heart until I found Jesus.

When I was first saved in 1988 I was steeped in crystal meditation and channeling and reading everything I could from people in the New Age movement that seemed to know more and spoke such “life affirming” beautiful sounding, ear tickling stuff. I also was doing “recreational drugs” such as ecstasy, mushrooms (shrooms) and smoking marijuana. A few days prior to being saved I had passed out doing ecstasy, and I believe if the Lord didn’t save me when He did I wouldn’t be alive today and would be in hell right now. I was brought up Seventh day Adventist but my dad was abusive and I saw that church as very hypocritical. When the Lord saved me I thought “oh no! I have to go back to that awful religion! Lord please, do I have to go back to that?” But the Lord took me forward, not backward. My mom had become an atheist because of my dad’s abuse and the blatant hypocrisy in SDA that we experienced. She also came to Jesus, but not through my witnessing to her. The Lord had to touch her heart in a more miraculous way through an illness and a Korean Christian doctor’s prayers for her healing. Our God is so wonderful ❤️👍🏼🙏thank you Jesus, we do not deserve You.

@@badluck134 This is a short version of Jesus’ story. The sacrifice was the completion of God’s own plan to bring His created children to his side. Jesus is one piece of the triune God (Jehovah the Father, Jesus the Son, and Holy Spirit). The old testament prophesies of Jesus, His birth, life and the cross and sacrificial shedding of blood for forgiveness of sin. The Passover story is the story of Jesus being the sacrificial lamb. God the Father had a plan to exonerate us so we can be His children and can be holy enough that He can dwell with us on the earth. Jesus is actually God who came to the earth with a purpose that was pre-ordained.
I find I am finally connecting the dots by hearing teaching I hear from a Messianic Jew from the Hebrew and Greek. If you want Scripture to verify all this, let me know, so I can look it up for you. Blessings in your search.

And yes if someone else pays the debt of others, the bank will happily accept it. Unlike banks, God requires life/blood. If you don't like to accept the life/blood of Jesus, it's ok. He loves His children, His image bearers, so much that He wanted to make a way for them to be with Him. Let me tell you a story. A queen was entering a huge ball where she would be honored and celebrated by all of her subjects. It was to be a great honor and she was dressed in the finest clothes in all of the Kingdom. Just as she was about to enter, she saw her own dear child drowning in a sewer near the entrance of the party. Of course she did what any parent would do. She jumped in that puddle to save the child she loved. Nabeel Qureshi gave that perfect analogy to a Muslim woman who could not believe that God would ever dirty Himself by becoming a human.
Here is another analogy. There was a man who watched birds fly into his barn door and break their necks. It made him so sad to see such beautiful creatures whose song he enjoyed end their lives in such a cruel painful way because they did not know the right path to fly around the barn and beyond. He tried painting the barn a different color, and several other solutions, but none of them worked. The birds just kept flying into the barn, and falling dead on the ground with broken necks..He thought to himself "If only I could become a bird for just a short time ,so I could show them the right way to fly around the barn, and live!" Not sure where I heard that analogy, but it is a great one. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I am Gentile and I come closer to our Savior from Jews from Jesus since the 80's. Prayers for God continued favor, direction and protection for Jews for Jesus
Shalom. I too was many years a new age fully comited practitioner and from 2 years I gave my life to Yeshua Hamasiach. I too used to say that I am spiritual but not religious.
And recently somebody asked me what it means to be spiritual but not religious and the answer that I gave was: people who want God's blessings but without God because they do not want to submit to Him, so they search for love, peace, bliss, Life in all other places. They want the live that only Adonai can gave us, but living by their own desires and not following God's ways and laws.

Yup! When I was in the new age, I was on a hampster wheel and I was told I was always doing it wrong for one reason or another. There was a high level of competetion among new agers to prove whom was the most spiritual through the courses and workshops you took and the certificates one received. I am eternally grateful for our Messiah Jesus/Jeshua who saved me!! So many have been or are going through this deep deception.❤🕊

Amazing testomony! I love this. The many times of using catchphrase "I'm spiritual not religious" is so on point😅... Before I was Saved by Jesus I was a huge follower of law of attraction..it's identical to bad food...taste good & it's cheap and won't sustain for a longer time.. I love Jesus❤️
Wonderful testimony- praise Yahweh for His work in your lives through Yeshua. Remember Yeshua’s words that He and the Father are echad (one) - don’t buy into the lie perpetuated by the Christian church that Jesus came to abolish things His Father put in place. The parts of the Torah we can observe today we absolutely should - Deut 4-6 “it is life”. Yeshua’s words in Matt 5 are of utmost importance for every believer “Do not THINK I came to do away with the law or the prophets…”
It’s important not to make “Jesus” something separate than the Father - He lived in perfect obedience and He calls us to obedience. Salvation is the root - obedience is the fruit. He kept the feasts, ate kosher, wore Tzittzit & guarded the Sabbath… and we are to walk as He walked. Modern Christianity would have us believe that many Torah commandments are burdensome…. But 1 John 5:3 disagrees. At the time John penned this, they only had the Tanak.

I am greek and was born into a Greek Orthodox family- church , which believes in the holy trinity- even going to a Christian based church I was lost in traditions and didn’t know Christ - I found Jesus when something drew me to buy my first Bible- I found Jesus and felt my life change , I listen to Christian music and really feel convicted by the Holy Spirit … even as a Christian I was lost until I seeked our Jesus

Thanks for this testimony. I am so glad when people are rescued from the Occult. I hope it is a relief to other people to know that it might be a slow and delayed process, which I know well from experience, but if the Lord can save me, He can save anyone! “He who has begun a good work in me, will carry it through until the day of completion in Himself”. Praise God for bringing both of you out of New Age. I knew that Jewish people believed the Old Testament, so I am surprised that you weren’t taught the dangers of the New Age practices.
I was raised Seventh Day Adventist, so I was taught that New Age was demonic. I praise God that I never became involved with such practices. But of course Satan has other ways of tempting us to fall into sin!
I pray daily for my Jewish brothers & sisters. May God bless you both and keep you in His loving care.
I was SDA through my dad who was abusive, but never learned that things “new agers” teach was evil. I thought all religious beliefs had something good to offer. My mom would often point out the hypocrisy she saw in SDA. For instance many of the church members thought it wrong to cook on the Sabbath, would make Saturday meals on Friday, but saw nothing wrong in going to get a hamburger cooked on Sabbath by someone else at a fast food place. Also we were taught to love one another but every Saturday morning before church was chaos and fighting and when we reached church we were smiling with halos over our heads.
I went into Mormonism and later into the new age stuff, but thankfully the Lord brought me out of all that to follow Him, not any “religious beliefs “ but just Him and Him alone, not Ellen G. White nor any other human “master” or “teacher”. I can listen to pastors or teachers but the Holy Spirit guides me into all truth, not these people.
I’m so thankful that He saved me, I know I don’t deserve it especially strongly because of how deeply into my sin He reached to save me. ❤️🙏

My Mom always taught me not to look at others,because we are all sinners & have come way short the righteousness of God. The Bible tells us that our righteousness is of filthy rags. So, yes you are going to find sinners in all churches. I know that SDA’s aren’t perfect, but no one is, with the exception of Jesus.
We are supposed to keep the Sabbath as explained in the scriptures. But, like I said the church is full of sinners. Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandments. I don’t believe it is right to go out to restaurants on the Sabbath, because you are causing someone to labor.
For as long as I can remember, I was taught the dangers of New Age practices. SDA’s have written many books on the subject.
Satan was the cause of all of the chaos & fighting on your way to church on Sabbath mornings. He hates the Sabbath & church & Jesus, so naturally he’s going to do everything he can to destroy us when we are trying to do what is right.
I understand your confusion about Ellen White, I am 75 years old and I was never a follower of Mrs White until I began to see the things that she told us would happen in the last days, taking place! I began to take notice & decided that it might be wise to look into what I had always avoided. I am so glad that I did.
Now I understand so much more about the Bible than I ever did before. Patriarchs & Prophets explains the Old Testament so well & makes the stories come alive like never before & Desire of Ages will make you fall so deeply in love with Jesus, like nothing you have ever known. And the last 7 chapters of the Great Controversy tells us exactly what is happening today & prepares us for what we are about to go through. After all these years, I have come to believe that these books had to have been inspired. But, don’t take my word for it, read them yourself, asking for God’s Holy Spirit to guide you.
None of us deserve to be saved, no not one! I pray that you will be able to leave the bitterness behind & know that God has people in all churches but in Revelation 18 He asks His people to come out of Babylon.

@@bunnielynn777 Desire of Ages, Patriarchs and Prophets, and The Great Controversy are all E.G. White books. She heavily plagiarized other authors of her day without annotations. Also she taught “soul sleep” and that Jesus is the Archangel Michael, among other heresies, so I could never recommend any of her books. But I’m glad that at least you are seeking after the truth in Jesus and not putting E.G. White in front of what the Bible actually says. ❤️👍🏼

The Catholic Church had warned to avoid new age methodologies a long time ago. Thanks for informing those who were unaware.
I say this respectfully dear one and as an ex catholic myself. The catholic church have many "other" rituals they perform at their mass every Sunday and even in becoming a catholic from birth. Baptism is not for the new born and is NOT biblical. Praying to Mary, saints and other statues is warned of IN the Holy Bible. Confessing your sins to man and being forgiven has NEVER, EVER been authorised by God you will read IN the Holy Bible. Does the catholic church ever encourage their members to read the HOLY BIBLE or only their own doctrine? Do they ever encourage to have a one on one relationship with JESUS at all? I NEVER knew Him when I was under the rules and traditions of a catholic church. Please I beg of you to research all of this. There are many ex catholic testimonies to watch on YT here. The catholic church are more guilty of crime against humanity and yet they are the richest cult in the world. The pope is NOT a follower of Christ. If a soul does not know who they are giving themselves spiritually to and what for, is unethical. He taught for ALL of us to forgive another if they do us wrong on a personal level. He did not COMMAND us to hear all confessions of strangers and claim WE can absolve them of their sin. It doesn't work that way. If Jesus was the savior or messiah of the world then why did he command his 12 not to preach to gentiles ? Why didn't he preach to gentiles during his ministry if salvation was an important issue to the world??

fold (gentiles). It is true that Jesus is sent to the Jew. That is why Paul said to the Jew first then to the Greek (Romans 1:16). Thankyou
@@embersee According to the Bible prophecy, there is only two fold flock which is the house of Israel and the House of Judah. Jeremiah 50: 4-6 This is the Scripture Jesus referred to. and also Isaiah 53:6 ; see Micah 2:12
Judah was present in Israel and the house of Israel were in exiles. Jesus told his disciples that he other flock because they were in exile. I don't think he was contradicting himself in Matthew 10:5,6 and Matthew 15:24

Thanks so much for sharing such an important part of your life. Jesus Christ the only way to the God of our father's. I was raised in a church but never understood what Jesus really did for us. At 16 God put me in a group of friends who loved Jesus and helped me to see the truth. That was 1971. I'm so glad you both are there with me. Praise God for Jesus.

I just tuned in and want to say that she sounds like a wonderful young woman. Jesus and his Mother have such a great love for the Jewish people, and it's wonderful to see more and more Jewish people wanting to return that love, in accordance with prophecy.
Jesus, are you speaking to me with this message?
Jesus said, “man cannot live by bread alone, but with my word.” I find it amazing when I hear messianic Jews say there is a void in us that only Yeshua can fill, and this blows me away. It shows that regardless of what doctrines these new age, (or any doctrine contrary to Jesus for that matter) cannot and will not fit in the void space in our hearts, which is designed for Christ to dwell in the spirit. That void is the throne in us, where Jesus sits and counsels us. And it amazes me when I hear Messianic Jews describe it as a void, like a spot designed for something, that we don’t realize. A void that both Jews and gentiles have, and needs to be filled. It’s beautiful hearing that we are MADE to house the Holy Spirit of Jesus in our hearts. Man cannot live properly without Him. Amen and Halleluyah to the great God of Zion, who is going to bring ALL MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD at the foot steps of Heaven and Jerusalem to praise God forever. I was raised Jewish and after my bar mitzvah became an atheist. I then became a New Ager: all the processes, channeling, numerology, etc. I became a lay Buddhist (Tibetan, then Soto Zen) for several years but still softly New Agey. Then more New Age seminars and create-your-reality philosophy, bodywork. Then got into Hindu practices: puja and chanting. I got out of it by going to college and getting an MA in Comp Religion. Still later, in my 50s I started to think seriously about real Christianity (not A Course in Miracles) and through apologetics, I came to Christ and was baptized at the age of 57. Yes, the real Jesus was the scariest to approach because as a Jew it is ingrained in you.

But what is most amazing you are sharing the Lord, how you personally met Him and became free from New Age bondage. It is also making big inroads into Christian practices as they try to "hear God's voice."using guided imagery techniques, declarations, positive affirmations, using automatic writing by imagining Jesus, and what is saying to you. You can bet it is not," Repent." I was invited to a woman's house to learn to hear God's voice. I was sceptible, but watched a video by a man teaching this stuff. He had people sit, breath deeply, visualize ones favorite setting, and wait for Jesus to enter the scene. What is he saying to you? The other ladies there were enthusiastic about this method. I sat there and said, " What? Are we now conjuring Jesus? Isn't that us trying to control the Holy Spirit? This is divination.". Which of course earned me dirty looks and exclamations of outrage. I was ordered out of the woman's house. What alarmed me even more, is the church I was attending began teaching this to the youth, then to the entire congregation, along with the sowing seed formula to get rich, decrees, proclamations, prosperity gospel nonsense, and Trump idolatry. I left before Trump became king, but spoke with my former pastor's wife of my concerns about the New Agey practices peddled as faith, and she replied, " No. The New Agers stole it from us. We're just taking it back." Wow. I had been involved in TM meditation, astrology, Gestalt Psychology, Baba Ram Das teachings, Carl Jung's writings, all tyring to find peace and truth. Jesus found me and did remarkable healing in my soul and body, miracles that no one but God could do. It brought my agnostic mother to Christ. Resorting to witchcraft, for that is what it is, to find peace or healing or answers to life's challenges is not only futile and unsatisfying, it is dangerous. Play with the devil's fire and you will get burned. This melding of belief systems within Christianity is deception. To any seeking a church, if it mixes the occult with Jesus, run out of there. You want to hear God's voice? Spend time in prayer, worship Him only, read your Bible beginning to end, and you will see and hear Him..He alone can satisfy the seeking soul. We find our rest in Him. The Holy Spirit gently corrects us when we sin. And we are forgiven, fully, freely, and loved unconditionally. I am now 73, and met my Savior at 21." Interesting testimonies. I don't relate to being a part of the new age movement but I was introduced to Jesus through a seeker church (Calvary Chapel).

Today I'm a Reformed Christian believing I'm saved by having faith in God, not because of anything I can do. The Reformed church believes in predestination and the five pillars noted as sola Scriptura (Scripture alone), sola gratia [grace alone], sola fide [faith alone], solus Christus [Christ alone] and soli Deo gloria [glory to God alone] with 'sola fide - the doctrine of justification by faith alone' as the trigger for the Reformation.

I'm not Jewish, was raised catholic, but spent a solid 17 years in deep esoteric, initiatory paths and new age practices when Yeshua pulled me out of that. About the fear that Jews may feel about being guilty of killing the Messiah, there's certainly legitimacy to that, but there's also the fact that this act was what Israel was created for. Israel was raised up as a priestly nation, with great emphasis placed upon the sacrifices for sin. It was Israel's job to prepare for and carry out the one Sacrifice for the world. It was terrible, but also God's great blessing, and the Lord picked Israel for this task.
Hard to disagree with many things you are saying! However, yoga is not new age. Jesus is! Hence the year A 2023 A.D. or something.
Jeff and Danna, I appreciate your video so much. I was ensnared in the new age for 10 years, rising to the top of every organization I was a part of and also certified in multiple modalities. I lost everything everything. And on the other side was a friendly Savior who found me and gave me a life worth living.
It's still a daily walk to come out of the oppression I had fallen into but he is faithful to grant me serenity and his Spirit and testimony , mercy, and grace. God bless you both. He is alive and he is good.

I'm always fascinated by watching Jews coming to Jesus. I still remember when I learned that they think Jesus is catholic, as someone who learned scripture as a child I think it's funny they don't know Jesus is Jewish. I'm just starting my journey with Jesus.
I currently do a yoga class and I love it, I find it so useful to quieten my mind and exercise my body in a gentle way. My teacher is not New Age (she is Indian but has not said what religion she is) we don't discuss religion but she has a picture of Jesus in the studio. We do however chant, as a method of meditation.
What is wrong with this? It does not harm to me or others that I can tell.

Yoga is a Hindu practice. The positions taken have ritual significance about Hindu beliefs in many gods.
It’s possible your teacher is a Christian and is trying to remove the Hindu teachings from her exercises; but I would not recommend participating as there is definitely some remnants of a false religion.

No, the church is the body of believers. I wanted to be Catholic, but more I researched it, the more I saw it's wrong. Tradition should not contradict the Bible, but it does. You should not call anyone Father, and Joseph knew Mary after the birth of Jesus. Also the Pope says and does many unchristian things. The priests I have spoken to were not holy, saying abortion and lies are OK if they serve your needs. We must follow Jesus only, not a denomination.
The rock is the church. The believers. Believers in Christ. Christ is the cornerstone.

My only concern is that kundalini energy (chrism) is a real thing and there is a way to manage its awakening in humility, armoured in Christ - and then it may annoint with the oil of gladness and communion with God. But since most Christians have such a taboo against kundalini, etc. their youth are left uneducated about it and may either seek it deliberately or will have it spontaneously occur and have no idea what is going on or what to do. This is what happened to me at 19 and I had no idea what was happening to me. I endured terrifying sleep paralysis, rushing noises, demonic voices laughing at me and had strange visions. I had not made any conscious attempt to pursue this, but I think I was a vulnerable target due to family trauma.
So I would not necessarily encourage people to pursue Kundalini practices, as they are very dangerous without underlying purification and virtuous living. But I would also not hide this from vulnerable adolescents and explain how to navigate it, as well as its history in mystical Christianity.
I went through a full Kundalini Awakening before I surrendered to Yeshua by way of a deliverance…

The eclectic nature of "New Age" is a key component that opens doors to the unwanted. The "New Age" isn't really new, it just recastes old ideas in a new framework. Gnostic views for example, have a long standing "New Age" tradition. The eclectic smoke can leave room for inversion of truth.
