This pastor is exactly how all Christians should act. She doesn’t throw Christianity onto others, which is so good. Since I am a Christian, I get upset when other Christians believe that they are better than others.
as a Christian I agree because most of us say “Join us or you will burn in hell for eternity and torture” and try to scare others into our religion which is not right we shouldn’t force it onto people but just preach believers or non believers 😊
Yehet Army exactly the bible says the no one has the right to judge others except God but some “christians” think it is ok the attack atheists, lgbt people and people who believe in other religions
It’s really how all Christians should act! I’m agnostic. I don’t believe in God, but if life down the road shows me that he does exist, I will be more than happy to believe. It makes me so sad that Christianity believes to be judgement free, but I’ve gotten judged for not believing and had someone once try to shove it down my throat. Thanks for being the great Christian and understanding what to not force it onto others and not believing you’re better than everyone else, everyone appreciates the understanding ones
It's because she is reflecting the *true* character of Christ, the Father, and the Holy Spirit! Not every Christian has matured in God's love like this. But don't let what they don't reflect affect what you do see in someone like this. Jesus cares.
Just a little explanation for those who don't (really) know about God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. If I ask you: -Have you ever lied? -Have you ever stolen? -Have you ever looked at a man or a woman with lust? -Have you ever used the name of God in vain? -Have you ever disrespected your parents? -Have you ever killed someone? Etc. The answer for all of us is probably yes to at least one of these questions. According to the 10 commandments, if you did commit those acts you are then a liar, a thief, a blasphemor, a murderer etc. If you were in Court (God being the judge) to be judged for these crimes, would you be held innocent or guilty ? Guilty. Would you go to heaven or hell? You would go to hell since you are guilty. But is there a way for you to be exonerated? YES! Jesus is the answer. He paid the fine. You are now free. Indeed, by being crucified, Jesus took all the sins of the world (all of my sins, all of your sins) on his shoulders. What does all that mean? Now the law still exists. But it is not the law nor our good deeds that will save us and make us just to God. You can have Eternal life with God. How? You just have to accept Jesus's sacrifice, repent from your sins and follow God. It is totally free! You don't have to go confess your sins to the priest to be saved, you don't have to pray 5 times a day to be saved, you don't have to be perfect! All God wants, is to have a relationship with you. Real christianity is not a religion. It is a RELATIONSHIP with God. All you need to do is to have faith in him. And of course, if you accept Jesus in your life, you will still sin. We are all human and weak. But trust me, you will experience a love that will totally transform you and that will give you a peace that nothing in this world can offer you. And if you sin, just recognize it and leave it to God, ask him to change your heart and he will. He freed me from an addiction to pornography and drugs. Nothing is impossible for him. God knows you completely and loves you totally and this void in your heart is him inviting you to seek him and to surrender everything to him. He promises us that: If we seek him with all our heart, we will find him (Jeremiah 29:13). No matter who you are, no matter what you've done, God wants you to know that he loves you and that he wants a relationship with you. And if you turned away from God because of a religion, a church or someone, know that even though they said they talked on behalf of God, it doesn't mean that what they told you was true. Many religion and people transform God's Word for whatever reasons (money, Political reasons etc.) But don't listen to them, just look at God's Word. Be blessed my Friend. 😇
Do y’all SEE THIS?! A Healthy conversation between two people with very different viewpoints. We need to learn from this! Can we all learn to have healthy conversations with each other nowadays?! Bravo Pastor Erica!
I would have preferred she gotten some push back on "Most people who don't believe, there was some traumatic church experience" Um, no lady. We're not broken because we don't believe in God. Y'all don't believe in Zeus, nobody thinks that means you must have had a bad experience with a thunderstorm.
Very true but highly unlikely anyone will. I’ve been trying to teach my family to do that... let’s just say you don’t want to be at our family get togethers.
Ghandi Gun i think what she was trying to say is more like "everybody who walked out of church/christianity mustve had a traumatic church experience" bc we can see that she asked that to the catholic girl
Mario Sebastian yes. Exactly. That's an incredibly self assured view. The idea that the only reason someone would leave or deny faith is because of some evil experience they had. No. People don't just ditch a believe in the main structure of the universe for some petty reason or because someone was a dick. Imagine a white supremacist telling me "well you only married outside your race because a white woman broke your heart when you were young." It's deeply offensive, and wholly wrong on several levels, not the least of which is your inability to see why it's wrong and offensive.
@@gandhigun2304 but why would you leave it if you only had good experience from it? Clearly there must have been something to trigger someone to go from believing to not believing. I thought it was clear the way the Mormon talked about his past life as something negative as he felt liberated leaving it behind him. Which means he must've had bad experiences.
@Truth Seeker For being someone that literally has "truth" in their name, it's amazing that you don't know the difference between personal truth and what is true. Because I really don't care what the Bible says, it's just a book, and a book of mostly fiction.
@@liger-9990 Well, this is not always true though is it? I agree that it is probably best when talking to a theist to attempt to refrain from "shouting", but shouting has changed minds in many situations and been quite effective many times throughout history in politics, debate, activism, and yes, unfortunately...even religion... But eventually one's fuse runs out and then one is forced to make a decision, agree to disagree, or grit one's teeth into sawdust when it gets to the hard questions.
flashoftruth good point well made but I still think we could be less angry at the opposition for simply being misinformed . Think about how those preachers who tell you that you’re evil and that you are going to hell sound. Don’t risk sounding like that to theists. They are not our enemy, they are our friends and it is our duty to respect them learn from them and maybe even teach them. Sometimes shouting works but it never ends up with you as the good guy.
I really appreciate this lady. I came here because I was having doubts. Wondering if there is even such a thing as God after everything that has happened…. She is so calm, doesn’t judge the nay sayers or doubters. She doesn’t push anything onto these people. She just listens and genuinely cares. I can feel it and it brings tears to my eyes
If you really believe in hell you gonna gain a lot by being an atheist. If you don't, then the most you gain is having a way smaller chance to falling for cults and religious quacks, nothing else. That's a warning. I' m not sure if spreading the atheist arguments is bad or good. For society, is great for sure. For individual, just if the person is in some form of radical thinking. There are some simple questions that when answered with sincerity leave no room for a belief in God.

I agree. I'm a Christian and I believe if a nonchristian wants to have a conversation about God you should be calm, have respect, and listen. If you want to bring people to God you must be warm and welcoming. Yelling and getting in a fight only pushes people away. The Bible does say when no one wants to listen to the message of of God, you must to wipe the dust off your feet and move on
If only it was always like that. Being an atheist living in the Bible Belt of the Deep South, I have had a very different experience. Christians have acted like the nicest people only to turn around when they find out that I don’t believe as they do and say that they will kill me if I don’t get away from them. I literally had one pull a gun on me at a mutual friend’s cookout. Edit: I am well aware that not every Christian is like this.

"Opinions" = are abstract - and hence meaningless. Where the "angst" comes into play - and rightly so - is when people = act on those subjective beliefs to the detriment of others. So it is not so much what people believe per se as if upon acting upon their beliefs others are impacted negatively. That has always been the source of friction between Christians et al and others. Theists simply can not wrap their heads around the reality that just because "they" believe a certain way = others should supposedly submit to that - and the answer of course is no. As an aside. You see this is real time right now in the US in the form of a court case to be heard by SCOTUS. A Christian zealot wants the "right" to discriminate against others in matters of business simply because they happen to be a Fundie. Last I checked money in the US is "green" - not "Christian" = ergo if one wants to operate a business in the public space they should serve all customers as that is only fair after all - is it not. 🤔
When I see these conversations it's always the same, people have certain emotional experiences or justifications that give them a reason not to believe. I want to see a conversation from a pastor with someone who is inherently not religious, someone who has never had to seriously question how they feel about something just because of greater force they imagine could be true.
WiL OneL not everything has to be backed up by a scripture. I’m a Christian, orthodox and a baptist. I believe in god and Jesus and having a higher power looking down and protecting us. However, the saying “communication not condemnation” doesn’t just apply to religion, in general whether you believe in a higher power, or not, we should communicate, respect and listen to other people instead of talking them down, condemning their opinions.

Nobody was trying to push their beliefs on the other person, they just explained why they believe the way they did, with the other person saying, "ok, I get that, that makes sense, but this is what I believe." It was a great way for someone to dip their toe into the faith without feeling like it's being forced upon them
@Raimi Forever I have read them both, Quran is better. By better I mean the God of the old test is evil and it doesn't link well to the new test. Also Jesus (God) dying for mans sins, doesn't make sense.
@Yutyutty the God of the Quran appears to be less evil than the God in the old test. also the Quran is a lot shorter, the bible has a lot of lists of numbers and names, is quite boring. The Quran was written in a much shorter time period, the bible was written over approx 900 years. The bible old test and new test don't match, they appear to describe different Gods, the old test God is evil, the new test God appears quite nice.
@@joshuavd5194 God is not evil. Any wrath that was bestowed on people was because of their disobedience and sin, just as a parent punishes their children. Back in high school, in the religion classes. My teacher said a lot of things about why religion exists, and one of the things that stood out to me was the realisation that we technically created religion. Sure, people say that it was god who made the rules for the Holly Book, but at the end of the day. We were the ones who actually made it, for either a control over society or a new belief.

Everyone has different needs, everyone has a different vision of the world, and that’s okay. ❤️
Yet religious people absolutely foist their subjective beliefs upon others. Were that not enough = they as we see in the news via endless examples additionally use the levers of government to try to compel others to accede to those "personal beliefs" - usually in a negative manner. *THAT* has always been the problem with religion - always. People unable/unwilling to distinguish that their beliefs are not necessarily the same as others. p.s. - "purpose" actually comes from within as opposed to without. So if you were not "happy" until you found religion that bespeaks of a problem that caused you to seek solace from outside of yourself. People do not "need" religion to have a sense of purpose or fulfillment in their lives. This means they are usually grasping for something as "a coping mechanism" for what are other issues......... 🤔
@varyolla435 Religious and non-religious groups both do that. It is not bound to one, it's just when you believe one thing, you see loud people of the other a lot more often. A lot of people look down on religious people and same vice versa. It's pretty agitating either way.

I brought many people to Christ, did a lot of introducing Christianity outside the bubble. Obviously, having said used to, I no longer believe after many years of complete dedication. I regret bringing people to Christ, because it came from a vulnerable, naive person that was brainwashed slowing overtime by wanting acceptance from my family (and wanting my family to be loving and stop veing toxic) and I just happen to be good at convincing or persuading snybody of anything. Had my logic and sense of curiosity and understanding how to rely on myself instead of God.. Had that been nourished, I wouldn't have suffered nearly as much trauma. Most people living inside religion who DO have relatively peaceful families that don't really experience true struggle/pain with anything such as mental illnesses, addictions, financial issues, access to activities/hobbies/ good education, ect..they will be less likely to ever question or disregaurd the religion they were raised in and/or surrounded by in their community; whereas people who do have more struggles, toxic enviornment/family, are treated as less than by their parents (ie:little respect for their thoughts and ideas, ignored or not considered beforehand, not understood nor being sought for praise or attention), mental illness, addiction, financial struggles, little opportunities, little hope in anything BUT God, having tonrely on prayer as a means for getting by in a very depressed or lonely or vulnerable state- they are more likely to eventually question their beliefs, how they were raised, how others live and/or believe, what else is out there for them. This xan be said for every religion not just Christianity, and the same (but opposite) csn slso probably be said for non-religious people.. although for them, finding God would more than likely come out of desperation. I tend to look through psychological/sociological lenses now and I am happier than I have ever been. This this just MY experience going from a christian life to a non-religious one. Also, the theory or rather statistics from whatever study was done of when people leave their raised religion vs. When they are more likely to stay (btw, not saying the reasoning is the same for everybody, just thought it was interesting and made sense) in their belief system aren't necessarily why my mind changed, because even after I stopped going to church, I struggled for a VERY long time to find my way, telling myself at times I still had some faith deep down or that I wasnt atheist/agnostic.. But the truth behind that inner struggle had more to do with the fact that I still couldn't/didn't see my mom (esp) and sister for who they truly were (which are sociopaths) and I still dealt with issues of acceptance from others and self-esteem.. I was lost and I also pretty much had to raise myself and teach kyaelf everything..which leads one towards the path of learning from mistakes. Wish I had allowed myself to think more logically and react/be less emotional and expect to be treated with respect sooner or not allow anybody toxic in my life sooner, because I would have found my way towards a happy life a LOT easier and not have wasted so many years feeling confused because I couldn't 100% think and trust on myself alone (or rather, I believed I couldn't). Choosing the seemingly lonlier path (always different for everybody on what that is) is never easy, especially when you have been conditioned during your more formative years or since birth. I guess religion (or "relationship", whatever floats your boat.. It is STILL a religion) is fine for people that have considerably "normal" lives, have support, dont really need for anythingnor have reason to question, are content with not thinking outside of anything they've been taught, but it still -NO MATTER WHAT- inadvertently (yet still, also directly) affects society and individuals in a harmful manner (both outsiders and believers or insiders) by halting progression significantly while promoting INCREDIBLE amounts of fear/shame, massiveI ego-feeding, the treatment of others as scapegoats, the decay of logic/science, the inability to think for oneself or to only see things through one perspective leading to endless amounts of "sign seeking", the ignorance of helping to find real solutions to help in society without requiring some obligation to continue to grow the church or spread the word of their god, . I could go on for a while but I will leave it at that because I have digressed quite a bit from my original point which was that it is hard to believe you don't experience any lifebor communication with people outside your faith. I assume it is the same for many of your friends. To me, that doesn't make sense. Perhaps living as a Christian these days means more protection & control over the youth and less outside ministry, less trust and more fear. Many parents fear their children experiencing anything that might make them start to think more open-minded or could possibly "lead them astray" from the person they expect you ti be and stay.. But that doesnt say a whole lot about faith and it also isnt parenting in a well-rounded way because if a parent is then expected to raise children through a one way perspective, they cant possibly prepare their children for the real world nor can they easily accept their chlldren for who they truly are if and when that child needs to go their own way because their identity or s part of the way they think doesn't align with the families belief system. Okay, holy rant man.. I could seriously go on forever lol, my bad. Im gonna stop rambling now!
I'm Christian, and this is really beautiful. I have atheist friends and Muslim friends. One tim when I was talking about being Muslim to my church, they said since they worshipped Muhammad like a God then they'll go to hell. I know they didn't mean it in a real way, but I didn't want to try to correct them saying they don't worship him, and that he just a prophet. I really hope someday, I'll meet Christian's who will accept all religions.
I can say that if they gave this pastor a therapist job she'll definitely be good at it. It's good to talk to people who are willing to listen and understand your point of view towards a belief. People who make the atmosphere calm are people who I make friends with.
@Pavanraj Parthiban "Someone made the universe" or something? Why assume a who? How then does your creator god exist without being created? Making your beliefs exempt from your own argument is called "special pleading".
Me personally every almost religious person that I've meet are very respectful of people in other religions and understanding like they won't attack and debate with them cause they know how important religion is to other people but I've ment a few that are very disrespectful and try to use their religion to justify their disrespectful actions.
ELUI VS I know many respectful person but when we talk about religion, it’s an other story, as an atheist, it’s real hard to debate most of the religious person with both of us respecting each other. I have never seen a debate like that on the topic of god and it’s refreshing.
@@criticclips1560 Did I say that, I think not bro, and it's a hyperbole, it will not change the world but if we are nice to each other it will be better
@@criticclips1560 a lot of other christians force other people into their beliefs and also are discriminatory towards others.. of course the world isn't ending due to christians but if a lot of these religious people were more open-minded i feel like the world would be a more better place.
I'm so happy to see so compassionate people talk about God. There are different beliefs, but they all respect each other's opinions and treat each other with respect and openness that they deserve. So beautiful.
Respecting someone's "opinion" is one thing. If however an opinion is cast as supposed "fact" when it runs counter to science/history and logic = it is less fact than some might assume. At that point the record must be corrected lest human civilization degenerate into "intellectual anarchy" whereby people are creating their own purported reality based upon whimsical "belief". Moral of the story: it is not what some belief per se as how they act based upon those beliefs which causes mankind problems. If theists would but believe what they will and keep it to themselves and not try to foist that subjective belief upon others or treat others negatively based upon that dogmatic worldview = the world would be a much quieter place. 🤫
Religion, or at least Christianity, is not about using religion to get away with bad or immoral conduct. In Christianity, the repenting is to show God that you are truly sorry for your actions that have gone against his will. But, his will is unachievable, unless of of course the person repenting is Jesus Christ which therefore implies that you are perfect. Repentance is not a get out of jail free card. If you are truly following God, then repentance should be a one and done thing, as after that one time, as long as you follow the path the Bible shows us, your sins are forgiven. This does not mean that you can commit immoral acts all of the time and get away with it because you can just repent and keep doing it. That is against everything that Christianity stands for. At least, its not what true Christianity is about.
Erica did a great job representing Christians, but I think not enough people are talking about Emily representing atheists. Atheists generally tend to be typically portrayed as egotistical and arrogant but Emily is friendly, genuine and very open minded and I'm glad that this video represents people from seemingly opposing backgrounds in a positive light. Good job, BuzzFeed.
From my experience (not an atheist but have many such friends), people who've quit a community where they were oppressed for religious reasons tend to give much gentler & friendlier vibe. Where as people who walked out from a position of power often are pretty stand-offish and smartass. And the stereotypically portrayed atheists are often the latter.
@Steven vegas1 Every Christians has questions about the Bible. Why this and not that? Once you know Him, encountered Him, dwell with Him daily, those questions become less important because His tangible presence gives TRUTH KNOWINGS. He's right and your wrong everytime.
@Steven vegas1 yeah i have many and many questions of the bible, for example i want to ask God, what was he doing before he created the heavens and the Earth and where was he? and also how he created the universe? this question interest me, in the Bible it dosnt specify what he was doing, thats why i want to ask him.
Steven vegas1 I’m not sure if heaven is in our universe or not, it doesn’t anywhere if it is or not, it could be in out universe or out of the universe. Angels and demons do have body’s, like you said in the bible it says how there are angels in the world right now but in human form. They look like normal people, you may even have seen one.

I was mocking you, Genius. You tried to tell me what you thought I was, so I told you what I think you are. I consider it ignorant to attempt to label someone else when you have no idea what s/he/they believe. It was insulting that you seemed to think you know what I believe better than I do. If I were a Deist, I would've said so. It would've been less insulting phrased "it sounds like you may be a Deist."
I am a Christian and it’s okay to hear why people don’t believe in my God. God said to spread the word NOT force people to believe in him. I have atheist friends and they’re such good people (they’re even nicer compared to some christians that ik :[ )

@@user-zp5lt3kj7o thank you for responding. I would be happy to briefly explain why I do not subscribe to any religion (which is often indoctrination to children "[g]et them while they're young" mentality). Being non-religious is not to be confused with atheism, though. I would like to first say, that I do not attempt to change people's religious beliefs via a convincing argument. I talk about these matters mainly for myself. I know that this may seem selfish, but it is so that I can better understand my position with the matter at hand, and which direction that seems most appropriate. Persuasive arguments do not necessitate the claim being true. I only express my personal experiences and understanding, and carefully abide by the old motto live and let live...unless it encroaches on my liberties. I have learned...the hard way... that faith is not a pathway to truth; faith is often very misleading and to hope for things which are unseen. For the myriad of religions that I have earnestly studied over the years (Christendom, Islam, Judaism, etcetera), I find much fault in each doctrine. I have learned to appreciate by eating the meat but leaving the bone. Western philosophy is a great way to apply critical thinking; it enables us the necessary tools to better understanding truths, even in our finite brains. However, I do think that it can only apply to this physical (tangible) life, and currently cannot step beyond that veil. The very reason why we are succeeding in life by staying alive, is either by our own critical thinking or the critical thinking of others. Now, if there is demonstrable proof otherwise, than I would be willing to listen, of course. Generally, at least in our recent past and not-so-recent past in human historicity, depending on the locality of your birth place, was the determining factor on what religion he or she were to embrace, and often it was a cultural embracement either through force, by threat, or just wanting to just be accepted by the family or in societal existence. Often, as I have just previously mentioned, religion is a cultural thing, as I have personally witnessed, and other times it is sought in desperate times of need. I see religion more widespread in poverished countries. I do not condemn the individuals for being religious. As I told my loving Catholic girlfriend in Asia, I am not religious, but if she must pray for my soul than I will not fault her for it, nor will I be offended. I love her regardless. Considering that she is praying because she does not want my soul cast into an eternal hell (yes, I know some Christian sects debate this), than I can see that she loves me enough to be concerned with my well being. My biggest quest in life is fueled by the same passion that painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling; wrote, by reed pen, the Egyptian (Kemet) funerary texts; and articulated the words to that ancient poem The Epic of Gilgamesh. Oh, I would like to add, that Christian denominations...as well as other religious denominations...are generally divided because even they do not agree on interpretation.
I like how loving and respectful she was towards these people. Very gracefully forms conversation without any hostility or throwing Christianity at them. Very open minded I love it!
She’s an incredible example of a Christian who believes they need to love everyone no matter what Not someone who believes she needs to change everyone to be like her. 💕
@Jimmi K One thing you need to understand is that christians don't believe because of this life but because of the one after this one. An atheist can be just as nice of a person as a christian, but what matters in the end is the life after this one.

Yes. It is _"the grand irony"_ if you will. The decline of religion will not come from people who do not ascribe to theism per se. It will follow = the increasingly extreme actions of the religious believers themselves. All religions suffer from the issue of subjectivity = people ascribing to their beliefs what *THEY* want - as others of the same faith follow another direction. Thus it is the extremists such as you alluded to who will in the end cause the downfall of what they claim to believe by the actions they take. Moral of the story: the evangelical Fundies are driving away far more people than they can bring into the fold. This is why church attendance in countries like the US is declining as well as people who opening ascribe to religious beliefs in general. Now this extreme belief is spilling over into political governance. So just as a light bulb burns very bright before it goes out = so we are seeing "the last hurrah" of the Fundies in the US before the rest of the population turns against them to rebalance the scales. 🤔

@@Purity10101 yes but does how does one have God remove subtle sorceres like mantriks etc
Just a little explanation for those who don't (really) know about God's love and Jesus' sacrifice.
If I ask you:
-Have you ever lied?

I’ve seen so much toxic stuff on UA-cam about religion and atheism but this is pure.
Both sides are being respectful.
Clearly staged.
@Truth Seeker For being someone that literally has "truth" in their name, it's amazing that you don't know the difference between personal truth and what is true. Because I really don't care what the Bible says, it's just a book, and a book of mostly fiction.
flashoftruth it doesn’t matter if it is. The fact is that it’s showing how it should be done. No one changes minds by shouting.

I' m not sure if spreading the atheist arguments is bad or good. For society, is great for sure. For individual, just if the person is in some form of radical thinking. There are some simple questions that when answered with sincerity leave no room for a belief in God.

I love how everyone isn’t getting frustrated that they disagree with eachothers beliefs but instead they seem understanding of each other
"Opinions" = are abstract - and hence meaningless.
This is how it should be. Communication not condemnation. 💯
Yes respect shown on both sides
More like communication not communism
When I see these conversations it's always the same, people have certain emotional experiences or justifications that give them a reason not to believe. I want to see a conversation from a pastor with someone who is inherently not religious, someone who has never had to seriously question how they feel about something just because of greater force they imagine could be true.
Can you back this up with scripture?
WiL OneL not everything has to be backed up by a scripture. I’m a Christian, orthodox and a baptist. I believe in god and Jesus and having a higher power looking down and protecting us. However, the saying “communication not condemnation” doesn’t just apply to religion, in general whether you believe in a higher power, or not, we should communicate, respect and listen to other people instead of talking them down, condemning their opinions.

@Yutyutty the God of the Quran appears to be less evil than the God in the old test. also the Quran is a lot shorter, the bible has a lot of lists of numbers and names, is quite boring. The bible old test and new test don't match, they appear to describe different Gods, the old test God is evil, the new test God appears quite nice.
@@joshuavd5194 God is not evil. Any wrath that was bestowed on people was because of their disobedience and sin, just as a parent punishes their children. You don’t have to throw Christianity onto other people, it’s their choice to believe, and it’s okay if they don’t, not everyone who doesn’t believes it’s not a good person…I’ve meet awesome and really good people that don’t believe and that’s okay! Religion it’s a really big step and it’s a choice, it’s a personal choice. I don’t fell that my life it’s full without god, but if you are happy without him, if you feel okay and full without him, that’s completely understandable.
You're doing sins, you're saying that people should go to hell, even if they are happy Wich they aren't, is horrible

As a fellow Christian I don’t get to witness a lot of the other side of things being that my friends and family view the same as I do when it comes to God. I give those guys credit for being able to put themselves in such a vulnerable position.

@@halle7170 I am in a similar situation as you. But I met someone great in my life and they showed me the way to God. Maybe both of us could be believers one day too :)
Taylor Liz If you’re a Christian who isn’t exposed to outside thinking I would suggest diving into existential philosophy and science that discusses the universe, and if after all that you can still come out a Christian, then your faith will be solidified and strengthened, or you could change, who knows but I always think people should explore ALL information out there
Really? See, when I was a Christiam, I was taught to be a vine for Christ and to introduce non-believers to Christ which would obviously require association or communication with all kinds of people.

Really interesting how the guy said he thinks religion gives people excuses for bad behaviour. Never thought about it like that, but it makes sense.
Yes, as Voltaire once said, for bad people to do evil things and call it good, it sometimes takes religion.
Exactly. Even when I was really young and my grandmother explained to me that anyone who repents can go to heaven it didn’t sit well with me.
Was Paul sorry for calling some people some very broad things, or misusing the word 'natural' also?

@@HugoHugunin , you represent a hateful Atheist towards Christians, which is the exact problem in this world....no offense but that is how you come off to me...
Happy for the people who had the courage to openly be non believers.
I really like this because as a Christian, I see a lot of other “Christians” bashing others for their beliefs and she is so understanding and awesome! Which is what the Bible wants us to do! Love others, not judge!
The bible says judge righteous judgement
@@thelordjesusismyrock3566 the Bible states that judgement will be left for God, not for us to do.
Actually judging is wrong, but till today I never understand why ppl get so angry from ppl warning another person that someone might go to hell. It's like me warning you that you shouldn't play with fire. There is no hate in the action itself if you think about it, but you're right we shouldn't judge but give the love of God.
It is not judging to say what the judge meant.
AMEN!
I like this woman she’s not dismissing their believes or lack there of she’s hearing them out and relating to them then sharing her own stories
This pastor reminds me of the pastor at my church, he is kind, caring and understanding. He likes to just talk to people and listen to where they are coming from. He never pushes anyone to join Christianity but just discusses with them.
Bran Evans how do you know your religion is correct? There are 4000 religions anyone could be correct, plus i dont think god would like you telling others they are going to burn in hell. Aren't Christians supposed to be loving? lol
Hail Satan
Bran Evans I feel your few comments were overly harsh and blunt. I don’t mind if you’re a Christian or not, but I didn’t think a lot of the things you said were very necessary to the people here. Remember this is a comment section, not a place to convert people or disregard people’s thoughts and opinions! ☺️
Bran Evans I understand you’re a Christian. I just ask that you don’t force your religion down people’s throats. I’m sure me and every other person in this comment section are educated about the judgement day for Christianity, but simply don’t believe it. Once again, thank you for you time. ☺️
She listened, asked questions without judgment, so therefore she was pleasant. She found commonalities and complimented so they were willing to listen to her. Then she said what she "knew for sure"/believed in.
That is what love looks like.
Love is what matters. God is Love, and not forceful. He gives us a choice, and thats so much love. He gave everyone a chance to be saved and follow Him. He died for our sins. I survived as a baby. My twin passed. I was in an incubator, with one hand ✊ and the other ✋. I was truly a miracle baby. I gess God knew I would endure unto the end, and He chose me to spread His love and joy! 🤗💗😇
My heart sank for the girl who lost her twin 😓
Vivalavive2249 me too, I also have a twin brother and I’ve had many nightmares where he dies but I can’t even think about how she’s dealt with that tragic event.
I know, I have a twin sister and I would be devastated and really wouldn't know what to do if any of my sisters passed away
@ibhouse Same with my Twin brother whom I don't always see eye to eye with but one I love dearly and would never wish anything bad to happen to him.
My twin sister passed away, we were identical. Nothing can prepare you for that but I feel privileged to have been a twin and she's always with me.
Same I have a twin brother. It really puts in perspective how lucky we are to have them with us cuz in an instant they can just go away.
she is the kind of religious person who respects other people and doesn't try to convince you that god is a real thing, and i really appreciate that

Nice watching the non-religious people not ridiculing or drawing a line in the sand against something they don't understand.
@@llc3guys the irony of your statement is palpable.
But the job from the christian is to show other people there is a god. But when you don't want to belive, a christian would go away from you.
Well that's the kind of response you will get when as an atheist you don't try to explain others why their god doesn't exist

@@cheer4syd3 You can have that kind of empathy and patience with others without being religious. You can be cruel and destructive while being religious. There's no black and white rules to this. This lady just happens to be a good person, or so it seems.
I left religion because of single middle-aged men harassing young women outside Planned Parenthood and churches refusing LGMTQ peeps as complete human beings deserving of respect and dignity as much as everyone else.
Love that they weren't talking over each other to prove a point but listening to one another to understand their differences👌🙏

Probably the best representation of GOOD Christians I've seen in years, we don't all run around hating and holding signs condemning people to hell.
Ive already been told 50 times to go to hell by different people lol for being an atheist when i have a well structured argument with them, that they start with me, and they loose they just go "your going to hell". because the only thing they can do is qoute an old story book, created to give answers to the ancient people who couldnt use science to figure things out that they wanted to know . Thank you for being respecful and not crazy like most people in this comment section. Have a nice day.
Hi@@seb5542 I am a non-practicing Christian. It would be so cool if we could talk because I love debating and having healthy discussions. I don't know why Christians are scared of science. Science is AWESOME.
@ I'm sorry man, that's rough. That's a terrible representation of Jesus. That sounds more like religion. In the Bible, the religious people in Jesus day hated him because He loved people. The religious people were the ones who begged for Jesus crucification. People and religion and all that can be cruel. No one condemns people to hell people condemn themselves. Its not the Christians job to tell them that because they are not god.
