- We invite you to join us for a twist on our normal Conversations with Jewish Believers In Jesus, hosted by Jeff Morgan. In this episode, Jeff has a powerful conversation with Anthony Rogers who had an encounter with Yeshua that literally set him free.
Anthony Rogers came to faith in Jesus in 1993 while he was incarcerated in the Southern Desert Correctional Institution in Indian Springs, Nevada. After his release, he felt compelled to work in Christian ministry. After many twists and turns of God’s divine providence-during which time he got married to a Jewish woman, had children, and went to college, Rogers was eventually accepted into the divinity program at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He graduated in 2018, and the very next year, Calvary Presbytery called Rogers to be the pastor of prison ministries. He now serves in this capacity as the Regional Director for Metanoia in South Carolina, where he lives with his wife and three of his four children.

I was a teenager raised in the church, but straying away, and dating a Jewish guy. We went to a concert and a person from Jews for Jesus gave me a tract. It was the beginning of turning me back to Jesus. I'm ever grateful to the Lord for Jews for Jesus.

I love Anthony Rogers and I’ve learned so much from his teachings especially to Muslims. I was born catholic and I was a devoted catholic for over 35 years and was even teaching in a catholic school. Wonderful testimony especially about his wife. It always amazes me how the Holy Spirit works to draw us ……..the bit about the temple which his future wife had been to as a young person as a Jew is now a church……how great is our God!

I love watching all the testimonies on the street and in the studio. It is amazing that when the veil is lifted and we repent and believe and seek and love and know Jesus, we can see Him and know Him and He is so real and so clear and true. Jesus is the most powerful force of love and grace that rules and reigns in your life and we will be serving and loving him for eternity. Once we have faith and know Him, it is so profound and real, it is often hard to endure the blindness and unwillingness of unbelievers to want to know him. He is the great I am in the old and new Testament, today and forever,. Keep telling who He is because He is coming back soon and time is short for their opportunity to be saved

There is freedom is Jesus Christ. God please continue to empower me with your grace so I may keep going. As a single mother I’m struggling to provide for my sons both are on the spectrum and I’m overwhelmed! Every month is a struggle to survive. Jesus help me to overcome my fears. Because I am fearful all the time. As I struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay rent. Just know I trust you Lord. I won’t be discouraged NO MATTER WHAT! I choose faith!

Do NT Christians have an advantage over those people under the OT? If so, why do we to this day look up to people in the Old Testament? Who can we point to in the past two thousand years or so who can compare to Moses, or Daniel in terms of holiness? The Bible says that under the NT there will be no evangelism, "They will not teach every man his neighbour and every man his brother saying know the Lord , for all shall know me from the least to the greatest. I am sure you will agree that we are not there yet. It also says : Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Ready to, not vanished away. The New testament has not been yet implemented. The people before Christ were saved under the "Credit card" system. Same as we: by faith in Christ.
Yes new covenant Christians do have an advantage because we can get delivered from bondage, get our spirit resurrected and our personal relationship with our Father restored, His Spirit living in and through us, changing us to become Christ like.

The man was puzzled as to how he could translate a phrase to the Greeks when they People of logic and debate said that a virgin could conceive and give birth without marriage, so he used to write the phrase “girl” instead of “virgin,” and three times he returned to find the phrase had been erased and “virgin” was written in “Greek.” Here it was revealed to him that he would not die until he saw with his own eyes that the verse had been fulfilled. It has been fulfilled!!.. Blessed be the Lord, and how true is His promise!
