@@Revmatchmedia yeah I bet. My oem vents are getting kind of stuck sometimes trying to adjust them so once I saw this solution it seemed like a no brainer. I just scored a set of four vents for $35 on ebay.
Hey man, thanks for this video! Everyone was telling me the Jeep vents only work in the NA and to get Eclipse vents for my NB, but your video has shown me that the Jeep vents are the way to go! I don't want to mess around cutting up some 30-year-old Eclipse vents with a dremel, only to install them at a fixed angle. Are they still holding up nicely? Have any of them fallen out?
Thanks for watching! That's exactly why i went with the Jeep because I know i'd loose my cool if i messed a cut up lol. They're holding up great and I always blast my AC cause I'm in Texas. One of them I do have to periodically push in ever so slightly because I messed up the part in the dash that holds it when I was taking off the old one the wrong way. Other than that, theyre perfect. My kid loves to play with them too so they're durable lol
@@Revmatchmedia Haha thanks for the reply man, I'll definitely get some Jeep vents then. I've also been checking out your other videos, and your speaker upgrade video was super helpful. Going to be fitting a set of 6x8" speakers using your video to help!
@@nb8c_fd I've been wanting to amp them because they definitely can go louder but I was researching and to pass wiring to the door is such a pain. I may end up getting a Leroy Engineering speaker panel and amp up a couple of small 8" subwoofers so i dont drive the door speakers as much.
@@Revmatchmedia If the amp increases the overall depth and clarity of the sound by a considerably amount, I would consider installing an amp. However, my music is supposed to be heard by myself, not people outside, and I value my hearing! If the amp mainly just increases volume, I won't waste my time or money because I don't blast my music anyway. Also, about the wiring through the door, use your really long screwdriver and tape the wire to the end, then simply guide the screwdriver through the tube and take the wire off the end.
Thank you for this video. I just ordered a set of four Commander vents for my NB2. Cheers!
You’re going to love them. Such a small thing but helps with being comfortable in the car

Also bought these for my NB. Love them!
They’re my favorite quick mod. I love the originals but hate that they have so many problems. Thanks for watching!
