This thing is sick! I've been working on mine recently. I am purchasing the BDX front kit but I was wondering what shocks you have on the rear for The extra lift? All the ones I seem to find seem really soft and bouncy.
I’m in the process of building this same model Yerf Dog 3206. It’s currently torn down as I’m getting ready to prep it for paint. I ordered a 4 point harness ahead of time. What part of the frame did you end up mounting all the points? Was there any custom work done to make it happen? Asking before I paint it and put it back together in the off chance it’s easier to do any potential custom fab to make this harness work. Thanks in advance.
The brakes worked great, the new axle needed extra support, so outer axle carriers were welded on. I’ve since sold the Kart and moved on to other projects!
44 inch axle or 54 inch axle? I got a pretty big project I put a 44 on and I'm not sure how it'll hold up, the yerf dog has a comparable weight so that's why I need to know
@@Eighty8Fitter Nice, it's got 26" wheels but it's only 3 inches larger than yours and you seem to be fine. It's a burned down Landstar LS670, lowering the seats, steering, and roll cage, replaced the melted diff with a live axle
Sorry for another question. How bad did the front tires rub? Or did they not rub in the front at all? Are the tires 8" or 8.5" wide? I see a lot of golf karts with 8.5" tires is my reason for asking.
@@stephenchina1196 I didn’t have any issues with the tires running because I used 2” hub spacers in the front which allowed sufficient clearance from the frame.
@@Eighty8Fitter Just received them in the mail yesterday and already installed them. The picture on the listing shows them to be cheap and thin, but turns out, these are the best seat covers with some good padding to them. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction
@@Eighty8Fitter I can think of one reason to why which is because it's cool. I can think of a hundred reasons why not to. To Start with, no matter what you do it is still a yerf dog. Might as well put that effort in a side by side or actual buggy

Where did you get the brackets/Mount that holds the 12v battery?
I welded a small battery tray and used rubber coated P-clamps to suspend the battery below the rear rack

If you do the 54” axle you’ll need to add additional bearings for support on the axle shaft near the wheels.

I bought them at a Harley Davidson dealer, they are accent lights for a big bagger. Pretty speedy but bright as hell!
Did you weld the front that holds the a arm yourself or did you purchase the bdx product?
@@vichylehawj yeah we welded the bulkhead to reinforce the a-arms and it was from BDX performance
