@@cwtrucker4963 I don't really pay attention to other's schedules, so I can't really say for sure. My friend that I onboarded with 5 years ago has been on the 5/5 for a year or so and that opening had been up for a little while. From that, one could guess that it isn't hugely popular. But I don't really know.
Good morning Rich, I’m looking to come to Walmart because I’m looking to get more consistent home time. Now my question is, say I get the 5/2 schedule will I get a full 2 days off? Or is just for a 34hr reset? Thanks for your time.
It's a full two days off. For example, if your "go-home" day is Friday, they make sure you get home on Friday, and you won't be expected back until Monday. They don't play that game where "oops we can't get you home till Saturday"
@@getrichwalmart awesome that’s great news. Was looking at the closest DC to me and Johnstown seems to be the closest to CT. About 150 miles out. PA is farther out. Anyway I’ll put you down as a referral. Thanks again
Also, I don't know how close you are to Norwich, but we have a program where you start and end your week at the Norwich store. You just park your personal vehicle there and hop in the big truck, which stays there when you go home at the end of your week. I'm pretty sure it's Norwich, but it may be one of the other stores down there.
Good morning rich, I have a question for, I live in North Jersey do you happen to know which Walmart distribution center would be the closest to me and are they hiring? Thank you in advance.
This is what has kept me from applying to Walmart. I don't do that seniority stuff for schedules.
God forbid loyalty gets rewarded
@@RushinTruckin They can do that with pay, better equipment, and more pto. I only work certain days and I'm upfront with that
@weirdfan88 they already do that other stuff too
@@getrichwalmart I know. This was a company I wanted to go with when I started driving until I heard about the schedules
@@weirdfan88Understood. It's not for everybody. If it was easy, everyone would do it.
Hey rich, have you seen any rookies get the 5/5 schedule

@@Pokerhead1776 thank you, I'm glad to help. You have a really good chance of getting on at Johnstown, and we service all the CT stores

@@getrichwalmart that would be awesome better than driving to upstate every week. Thanks for that I’ll be sure to ask about it.

The closest DC to you is in Tobyhanna, PA and they are hiring.
