Is that sheet just for your records, or do you manually have to enter your numbers somewhere to get paid ? (Does walmart keep track of that, and pay you automatically)

@@jb3237 I do the sheet just for my own records, and to double-check their numbers against mine. They automatically track those numbers, but the computer is occasionally wrong, and it forgets to add or subtract something. So we have the ability to edit or change our activity pay when something is incorrect. That's why it's good to track and record your own stuff.

The biggest tip would be to be extra careful now to keep that license and safety record clean. You're almost there.
Next I would say to pay special attention to every question on the application, and answer it carefully and honestly. They screen applicants very closely.
Check out my video explaining the application/onboarding/orientation process.
      ua-cam.com/video/ylmbMseFzog/v-deo.htmlsi=Or-Zs-VZD-BoGkHS
And don't forget to put me down as a referral on your application. That'll place your application above others that are without referrals, and I'll get a bonus too when you're hired. Win/win. Good luck!

It was only a few short years ago I was in your shoes. I've been working for Magnum LTD out of Fargo, ND since 2020. Dispatch, driver managers, shop people, etc are all easy to work with. I've been local in Chicago since 2022 which was my plan from the beginning. We have a terminal in Elk Grove, IL with parking. The trucks and trailers are well maintained. The trucks breakdown, it's just a fact of life. They will get you a tow or you hopefully can get to a shop. I've done it both ways, as others I know here. The pay is good, I don't know what mileage pay is now as I'm hourly, local. Check them out, maybe they will be a good fit for you, I do know they are hiring. I'm not a recruiter, just thought I'd pass along what I know. Anthony Waves is a Magnum driver currently doing videos, seems like a good guy, but I've yet to meet him at our yard. Best of luck.
