Wow.... needed this. At the end of the day God knows what is good and what is bad. He knows why things happen

People tease about his demeanor, but what you are witnessing in Aaron is a beautiful thing: a truly independent mind and spirit, unique to this world. This world needs more Aaron Weiss’

Saw Aaron play w/ MWY on June 27th at the Dallas TX Prophet B. A fan jumped up on stage and started singing with him and Aaron kissed his cheek in all the love of his heart. He has a girlfriend now by the way! I never checked up on if they're married or anything but I know they worship together which is a definite praise report. Aaron, and really this whole group of guys, have been a huge encouragement of mine since as early as high school. They symbolize hope for me. The kind of hope that shows me that man can honestly hunger for growth (internal and external) and find it. They fittingly wear who I hope to look a least a little more like every day... Christ. All this to say, their internal change is already affecting my life as well as all the lives I touch. Incredibly a chain of love or a chain of change. You're all in my prayers and are all a part of the pre-amswer!

Oh my god man. This is amazing. The way aaron expresses his vocabulary almost distinctly reminds me of the professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen. Absolutely amazing video

I used this horse story in a kids' talk at my church.
I talked about how, at first glance, the son breaking his leg sounds like a bad thing. But there's a bigger picture, and things work out for the better. If the son had gone to war, he could have been injured or killed.
Good things and bad things will happen in our lives, and we shouldn't throw our hands up and shout 'WHY, GOD!'. Because God always loves us, and we should always trust in Him.

I found this particular story a long time ago during High school, and has been one that has stuck with me as I've moved from Believer into Apostate. Music at this time carries so much more weight than anything else and some how Ive stumbled back on this gem after looking for music to listen to while studying. I love it and mewithoutyou and other bands got me through a lot of struggles in life

There are great writers out there who have amazing insight for those who don't consider themselves religious, I being one of them. I would read some C.S. Lewis, who is one of my favorite authors, who has a strong knack for writing for Christian Apolegetics (a rational explanation for faith). I find many of Aarons interviews to fit in this style.

Early like, this is the story of everyone who feels they have had it bad, or who's disorder/sickness is simply bothering them, or who have had incidents growing up. I have had all these, and I refuse to look at it as good or bad..just life as it is.

Moral of the story is who knows what is to come or what is good. God, of the Bible. :) Jesus came to earth to save us from our sins. :) the world is not going to love you, Jesus said, there are problems, and there always will be. But the peace resides with faith in Jesus.

  • @VirtageBass

I think it's a nice view, but very bias. He wants to see meaning and so adds in the meaning. From a purely empirical perspective the world has no meaning, it is neither good nor bad. Also, why do you think this is the best of all possible worlds? Could there not have been a world where there was no evil at all? A world where we were created to freely choose between good and good, rather than good and evil?

ha theres no such thing as a non-literal christian,, youre either a christian or not and to say that your a christian and then rain negativity on something like this is contradictory and hypocritical. and by the way the bible says your thoughts should dwell on him always....
