I will start here, for the cadalidik converter is still there and she is stock all the way. Remember that every thing you see is composite plastics and this is way you see spider cracks on the parts of this car. For they tied to lighted up the cars for better gas mileage at that time .For this Vett is as lovely as can be and she out doe's the imports every time.
Now that actually looks like a nice car.

For all the paint imperfections that car still looks awesome from 50 ft💁♂️ Neoprene looks pretty straight 😁

A good set of heads cam, lifters and carb with a proper dual exhaust would wake this sweet ride up

The car has some flaws but it runs like a bat out of hell. I was really surprised at how fast that car was on the top of my head i think the car came with 240 HP. New tires look fantastic

CLASSICS FROM THE DECADES PAST , MY BOSS WOULD BUY HIS WIFE A NEW CORVETTE EVERY 2 -3 YEARS AND SELL THE OLD ONE WITH LOW MILES FOR ALMOST HALF OF A NEW ONE !!!! WHEN CARS WERE WORTH PAYING FOR !!! BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE NICK MINOR BLEMISHES THAT CAN BE FIXED !!!!
When these were new dealers were marking them up thousands over the price and getting it because there were only five hundred built. And if it was an L82 four speed it was marked up more. I wonder if the decals that came with this one are hidden under a seat or floor mat.

Awesome channel and vids!! Stupid question; why does the horn not work in most of these used cars? Is it one of the first things that goes with old cars? Again, I know, stupid question lol. I’m just surprised on how many don’t work.

Horns used to work by a disc in the steering column. It was a metal spring loaded pin that would ride along a metal disc. When you pushed the horn button it would "ground" the It would get worn down and not make good contact.
To fix it, you had to take apart the whole steering column from the inside which was not an easy job to do.
Taking apart an older car steering column to fix the horn was like rebuilding a Transmision. Complicated if you didn't know what you were doing ....

No. That's an L82. The L48 had different valve covers.

Yesterday I finally went flat broke so I went to the city and applied for welfare and food stamps they were able to give me welfare but no food stamps although they did give me a 1984 Corvette with the crossfire injection motor for free it doesn't run
