2nd gen Camaro's are fun to drive. I miss a car with bucket seats. A lot more comfortable than many seats nowadays.
Whoever installed that gauge cluster mounted the bezel upside down! It sets off my OCD when I see the square corners and against the rounded corners of the factory original dash opening!
Take a look at the spring bars for the trunk lid it should have a foam tube on one of those rod's it should be in the middle where the rod's crossing they bumping together ‼️
I had a Black and Gold 79 Camaro Z-28 back in 1986... I loved that car... all black leather interior, Black with Gold stripes and ground effects. It ran like a dream and was one pretty car... it shined like a diamond. If you get a chance look it up and see what a beauty that car was. I loved the body design of this series... when I bought my 1992 25th Anniversary addition RS my husband sold it without my permission or knowledge I can't express how P.O'd I was. This one you have here is a beauty too. The price tag isn't bad either. For a car nearly 45 years old it's in great shape.
That's a sweet Camaro, shift kit, has potential, and the horn works. Love it, Nick. That won't last a day. Great car, great price. I tell everybody about Maple Motor's.
If it has a double pumper Holley carb, you may get rid of the hesitation completely with an adjustment of the accelerator pump (s). Make the stroke of the pump longer on the primary side a little at a time, road test between "tweaks". If it is Holley fuel injection, GOOD LUCK !
The 78 - 81 was my favorite body camaro. Love my 79 I bought two years ago

I will put a 400 with 400 turbo transmission with a Corvette rear posy rear end and suspension with crager mag rims or billet rims with a supercharger put some Rico seats 360 degree swivel seat repaint the body wit tone paint Candy Apple Red with root beer with orange ghost flakes

With all the Whiskey dents and scratches and bubbles….She deserves a Big Block to complete the ensemble! That small block can’t keep up with such imperfections. At least a Big Block could make the viewer sink themselves into the sound and rumble of real muscle and easily overlook cosmetics. Form AND function with a Big Block. This….Is just another cheap small block with headers and a driver that claims his hopped 2 barrel won’t spit fuel and catch fire. “Tell me my fuel to air ratio that I’m wrong!” A guy just can’t!
