The Triumph 400X for me. A bike that can’t keep up on the hwy is useless to me. Now the new Himalayan 450 would be a real consideration.

Yeah my Scram is fun but it starts to really feel stressed once you hit 60mph especially if there is a head wind. It’s a great 2nd bike for dirt and gravel roads. I’m going to be looking for more of a highway 2nd bike next year. Definitely interested in the Shotgun 650.

Love both these bikes. If higher speeds is important than the Triumph is the way to go. Wahoo!

just found your channel and love your content! keep it up fuzzy fella! Just wanted to let you know that Triumph already has nearly 30 accessories for that 400x and there's already 3 companies in India that ship internationally that have gobs of accessories for the triumph. I do love the 411 but yes they are completely different animals!

I had a test ride on a Fantic Caballero 700 Scrambler, what a bike! I don't know if they're available in the US but if they are you've got to ride one! Wahoo!

Had to look this one up. Looks like an amazing bike with that twin 700, from Yamaha? Don't think we get them in the USA...if we do I'll find one. Wahoo!

I feel very lucky to have 5 bikes., from slow to fast. My mood dictates the bike that gets ridden. I get as much fun going slow and exploring things closeby that i have missed when going fast and further on the larger bikes. Ride often and for enjoyment. 👍👍5🏍🙋‍♂️

Great price for the Scram. If I didn't already have a Meteor 350, I think I might have bought a Scram 411.

Do we know for sure that RE is going to discontinue the Scram 411 now that the Himalayan has been upgraded? I'm not a fan of the new Himalayan's design and its performance increase doesn't seem worth it over a properly modified 411. Though what do I know, I don't have a bike yet and have been using this past year to really narrow things down. Both of these were on the list along with the Yedzi Scrambler, though seeing as I'm in the midwest I don't think I can easily get the Yedzi? Who knows. I definitely want a proper scrambler, I think its going to have to be the Royal Enfield Scram 411 for me, and if they are looking to discontinue it then I'll have to buy sooner than anticipated

I’m 99% sure the Scram is done in America. Dealerships all over are blowing out what’s left, some around the $3200.00 plus all fees. I paid $3900.00 for mine with all the RE accessories on it since it was a demo model with 16 miles. My dealership said RE has non on the list that are available to order. This was about 6 weeks ago.
As far as a proper tuned 411 motor getting more power then the Triumph, I can tell you that isn’t going to happen even with a big bore kit, and performance cam. The Triumph will always be the faster, smoother bike with a much better transmission. My Scram starts to get very unhappy at 60 mph, I can feel the motor straining from there up. It’s happiest 50mph so I’m very limited on where I can take it comfortably.

I love the Scram 411. Have rode it often, including today. My current favorite motorcycle that I own is my three year old Himalayan, have over 24,000 miles on it and plan to ride it tomorrow. How do these two RE's stack up against the Triumph 400x? I love all of them but would not trade my current Himalayan in on the new 400x. I know the 400x has more of everything but it is too pretty for me to use in the ways that I use my Himalayan. Not saying one is better than the other rather that they are two bikes that do things differently. I'll have a new review out on the Scram 411 in the next few days. If you like the Scram I recommend buying it. Great fun. Wahoo!

No 2024 Scram. It will probably be the 2025 Scram 650 which has been seen in India as the Bullet Guru reports. There was a Scram here at eurocycle for $2999.00 a month ago. I picked up the leftover Himalayan due to a $1400.00 savings over the Scram.
I love the Himalayan and probably would not switch it for the triumph or the new Harley 350 and 440X.
Plenty of passing power and speed. If wheelies are for you, then a triumph may be an option. RE wanted to put out 28 new models in 4 years ( 7 a year ). ( I read any RE info I can find on the boob tube.)
      1. Scram 2. Himalayan 3. Meteor 4. Super Meteor 5. Hunter 6. Shotgun 650 did I miss any Fuzzy?
I believe RE has every intention of staying ahead of Triumph and Harley. Look at the new Honda cb 350 lookalike ( classic 350 ).
Even Honda is taking notice. This is GREAT.
3/6/2024 Hunter 450 coming out to compete directly with Triumph 400X. 40HP. Same as as new Himalayan 452.

Rode the Scram 411 about twenty miles today, same route I took that 400x on. Both did well but can't wait to ride more 400x. Wahoo!

@@forgottenmotorcycles Scram fun bike going slow on rougher tracks with it's Torque & long 1st gear but 400x is lighter.I would choose 400x cause of it's higher cruising speed & extra top end for for passing cars on road & also it's lower weight 179km😲 just means you might have to ring 1st out in the real rough stuff. The Indian 400x is heavier 183-184kg cause they beefed it up to handle the Indian roads. What makes the 400x & 400 Speed appealing is it's price & it's a Triumph & has to live up to that.
Also in LAMS Countries like NZ 🇳🇿 & Ausie & similar in UK get's people into the Triumph brand if learning or can't afford a bigger Triumph then once progressed to full license trade in & get a bigger Triumph as you built a repore with Dealership.
