    Appreciate your tutorial. I’ve seen videos of people mostly using the oxides but not the distress inks. Loved seeing how you used them.

    This is so cool. I’m considering using distress inks in my acrylic mixed media paintings because I love the effects. Hope it works on acrylic I have yet to try.

    is there any particular paper that works better? I just got a few sets of the mini cubes and new sponge blenders. I keep getting major blotches. I'm trying to use a light hand. will the sponges blend better once they get ink saturated, or broken in?

    Do you know if the first technique would work on a piece of paper that has acrylic gesso on it?

    Hi, I love how you marked each ink pad with its color. What did you use to do this? Thanks!

    I loved this video! I have such a hard time getting my distress inks to do what I want them too. Maybe I'm too heavy handed or use too much pressure? Pat on too much ink? I'm not sure, but I can't wait for more distress ink videos from you! Do you ever use them with a paintbrush like watercolors? If you do, I'd love to see that.

    I love the tutorial! Thanks for all the tips! I have the same question as Mary McCann, do the sponge blenders work better once they are broken in? Would really like to know! ~Janet in Canada

    what have you put on the table to do this? it seems a plastic kraft paper but i don't know the name and I can't find it. I think it's very useful to use distress ink and everything else to paint!! thank you

    But... you used the SAME sponge thing on both inks even though you said you had one for each and didn't want to mix them.... DOH!

    • @dd6484
      @dd6484  6 років тому +4

      By one for each color, I meant one for greens, one for blues, one for reds etc. Sorry for the confusion! That's why in the tutorial I said you wouldn't want to use it for greens and then mix with red!
