    Always enjoy your videos . I know you’re waiting for “made” for FE mount sigmas , but I love my 35 1.4 that I had converted from Nikon F mount . It works great with no hiccups . Eye AF works just great for me . I also really like my Sony 85 1.8 . It has a nice character to it . The Batis has OS , but it’s not sharper and IMHO has busier bokeh . However , its build quality is impressive . Lastly , I’m saving up for that 16-35 F4 .

      Thanks, glad you enjoy the videos! Yeah, when sigma releases native FE lenses I'll be like a hawk on those things. I think the adapted lenses are slow and unreliable in video but works ok in photo mode.
      I have yet to see a sharper lens at f/1.8 than the batis, it is just incredible!
      You're gonna love the 16-35 for sure!

    Hey man, just stumbled across your channel and this was a very clear and informative video! I just bought the Sony A7 III myself and am using a 35mm Prime Lens, and hadn't realised how close up it was shooting in my room and even for top-down recording of unboxing's, it was still quite close up, so was considering another one with perhaps a 16mm range. You definitely have another subscriber :)

      Yeah, a 35mm prime is a bit too tight for video and i'd personally go for the 16-35 range. Right now i'd wait for Tamrons release of their 17-28 before pressing the trigger!

      @@PeterLindgren1 Thank you Buddy! Do you know when the Tamron 17-28 is going to be released? (Approximately)? I'm happy to wait as Lenses are ridiculously expensive these days! I am getting an A7iii tomorrow. Originally I was going to get the Tamron 28-75mm and then a wide angle prime for all the wide shots. I am thinking about holding off till the new Tamron 17-28mm comes out and use that as my main lens and then get the 85 1.8 or the batis 85. The struggles....

    • @PeterLindgren1
      @PeterLindgren1  5 років тому

      First off, A7III - Incredible camera! You're gonna enjoy it like hell! The tamron is a great lens if your main focus is video work and you want a run n gun setup. I am really eager to get my hands on the 17-28 as soon as it releases but i've grown really fond of the OSS as i said.
      The difference comes down to if you want to do mainly video or photos. The Batis is just such a fantastic lens in every way, but if your focus is Photos then the sony version is probably the way to go!
      Thanks for watching!

      @@PeterLindgren1 My one and only focus is Video for sure. I do Real Estate video tours, and UA-cam stuff right now only. My UA-cam lens setup right now is a 12mm M43 so 24mm full frame. I think the 17-28mm would live on my camera at all times. Yea that OSS is very tempting. Hmmmm

    • @PeterLindgren1
      @PeterLindgren1  5 років тому

      If you shoot a lot of interiors i would wait for the Tamron 17-28 without a doubt. Having a 2,8 inside makes a huge difference since you don't have to bump up the ISO as much.
      On the 85 topic i would go for the Batis, so that you'll get the OSS in that longer focal length!

      It depends on what kind of video you are going to shoot! But a good budget option is the Tamron 28-75 of course.

    I have the A7R III. and the 24-105mm f/4 and the 85mm 1.4 gm. I nearly ever use the 85 becourse I´m affraid of dust when changing lense. :)
    Do you clean your cameras yourself or ? Maybe make a video of cleaning sensor ?
    Thanks for a good channel.

      Awesome, the RIII is such a great camera! The only thing you need is a dust blower and you're all set. It's a crime to have glass like that just laying around! I haven't cleaned my sensor at all yet, but might justt do a video where i'm doing that for the first time. Thank you for watching, glad you're enjoying the channel!
