I beat the Battlelord with the grenade launcher and dual SMGs in Duke64 where he has significantly less health. In Duke3D, I've never beat him without exploiting the steroids to return to the room preceding the boss arena. I don't see how else you are supposed to, with the Battlelord's insane movement speed and damage output. Easily 10x more difficult than the Overlord, or more.

@@EduardoAndFriends Oh my God, I forgot the holoduke even existed. I've never found it useful in regular levels, but I can see how useful it would be against Battlelord. Haha, I got it as soon as it came out in 2011 and I think what annoyed me most was the LONG load times for levels and how I kept having BS deaths and would then wait for ever to reload lol. But, yeah, the tone is way off in my opinion. Duke’s more of a sleazy douche than a hero and considering how long it took to make it’s just a bit sad. As a game in and of itself I don’t mind it except it’s hampered by that 2010s nonsense where you can only carry a few guns at once (Bioshock Infinite, oof) and has some really annoying boss sections. But I’ve learned to tolerate it over time. :D
Its not a "PC port" the game was originally on PC and only got ported to other systems
Yes, an unfortunate slip of the tongue. No idea why I said that
Another boss not shown from Ps1 Chapter 4
I still don't get the L.A.R.D. Joke. Sure the pig is fat, but the acronym isn't getting me.
LAPD = Los Angeles Police Department. “Pig” is a derogatory term for a policeman. And lard comes from pigs, as well as being one letter different from LAPD = LARD. :)
@@EduardoAndFriends Yeah i get that, I know what L.A.P.D. Stands For, But L.A.R.D., What does that stand for, Lunar Apocalypse Retard Douches? I Don't Know! ¯\(°_o)/¯

This takes me waaaaaay back. only had Duke Nuken on the PS1 and was terrified of the Octabrains as a kid! After beating Episode 1 and some of Episode 3, i just enabled God Mode for the rest of the Game, good times 😄
Niiiiice! That’s brill, man!
3:20 - Ummm, "PC port?" The PC version is the original release, not a "port." Only the console versions are ports.
😎
