The truth is that by removing the R/T badge from the rear explains everything. If you can afford an SRT 392 fully loaded this would be a no brainer. Great vid though💯
You also get on the srt is the srt driving experience at the bob bondurant racing school. The srt does have Hellcat wheels. They’re just hyper black instead of the low gloss black. The srt rides softer than the scat pack too w the adjustable suspension.
SRT are better suited to manage the 6.4 power. Better suspension, tires, brakes, more programming options. However good call mentioning dealers being more flexible on the scat pack.

I got the 392 scat pack plus and it has all of the adjustments that you mention suspension, valet etc.. the only thing I would change it’s the wheels for the 2020 hellcat
But on the dodge website there’s only a option for the scat pck charger/challenger and they both are a 392 they have the same engine same displacement I’m confused now
And what about how the SRT comes with features standard that the scatty doesn't - like the convience package, some options from the scatpack technology group, and Laguna leather seats. It's free on the website. So the price of those items must be included in the price o an SRT 392

I love it. It's addictive to drive. Get a mid muffler delete. The more you drive these cars the more you can appreciate them. They are rigid strong roomy.. Comfortable and super powerful.

My 2021 392 scat pack has all the same performance pages as a 392 SRT it has sport mode track mode Val-let mode Eco mode I can tighten the suspension and steering with no tazer only real big diff in some are the seats but love both cars
The SRT handles better. They are very similar but you see SCATs everywhere now. SRT is more rare

They put the SRT mode into the 2019s, lol they listened to you! I agree with the dealership flexibility, My 2019 Scat pack was 44k but with the power bucks rebates and trading in my V6 Charger, I took mine home for 31K....crazy stuff, still can’t believe I got a brand new Scat Pack for a price that’s damn near cheaper than used 392s

SRT comes with 18 speakers Harmon Kardon. Not sure if Scatpack has one, but the Charger SRT comes with front lane changing warning .

I feel like the srt 392 to dodge is what the gsxr 750 is to Suzuki. For the minor upgrades...I would imagine theres not much market for it. I've seen some used hellcats for the same price as a brand new 392 srt. Why not just call the scatpack a srt. It does have the 6.4. Why is it not called an srt?

2019 Challenger Scat Pack wide body comes with eco mode, valet, sport mode, track mode, custom mode, launch control, line lock with adjustable suspension on demand, basically everything you said it didn't come with, and of course the engine is a 392 SRT . Maybe it's the Charger that is lacking those items.
My 21 scatpack had the exact same as well with the 6 piston brembos
Speed is a difference if you know cars, since you have the customization options on a srt 392 and can change your shift points and rpm, changed shift points on a srt 392 pulls heavy on scat packs
I paid $45600 Canadian before taxes for my 2016 scatpack challenger 392. Sticker price was $59995 fully loaded. That's $34202 US . The car was brand new and I purchased it late November. Great winter sale.

Thing is, from a distance, you can't tell the difference between a Hellcat, a SRT or a V6 (unless it has the widebody). But you can tell the Scat Pack Shaker from a mile away. If only they made a Hellcat Shaker Widebody. That's what I really want.

I don't care what anyone says, the adjustable suspension in the SRT sets that car apart when going around the twisties. After I installed a front and rear strut brace, this thing handles like it's on rails.

I have a 2019 Challenger 392 Scat Pack, it's literally the same as the SRT 392, they just stopped using the SRT badge for anything under the Hellcat.

I think the hellcat hood should be an option for the SRT 392. I mean it is on the Durango SRT 392. It should also be on the charger and challenger SRT 392

The Dynamics package was available on the 2017. If you put the Tazer on it, it unlocks the SRT pages and allows you to have all the options that the SRT has plus line lock. The only thing you can’t adjust is the suspension. Which is not really that big of an issue. For price it is a bargain for that much power.

The 392 also is the Cubic Inch of the engine which is bigger than the SRT. Put a supercharger on a 392 and you damn near have a Hell Cat engine, of course there are other specs and electronics that would need to be done to make it perform like a Hell Cat. But I just can't get why Dodge ever had to bring back the Charger in a 4 door option only so I bought a Challenger.
Big difference is all the safety features that u get on the srt like lane keep assist forward collision warning automatic braking radar cruise control it will steer itself brake and accelerate in traffic and the glowing srt logo in steering wheel
The safety features are on scatpack too. My friend has a 2017 and it has all that. The SRT glowing is only on the hellcat.

I bought my scat pack without the dynamics package for $37,500. At first I wanted the dynamics package but these other wheels have grown on me. I love my car as I’m sure the rest of you charger owners do.

these cars are built for straight line performance. If you want to spend your money wisely and are in it for the roll racing and quarter mile times, get the scat pack.
If you are looking for more of a daily driver and a more comfortable ride with better suspension and brakes and whatnot, get the srt 392. There’s no performance upgrades to the SRT 392 compared to the scat pack, and they have the same performance statistics too.
I hate to tell you. But the SRT 392, Charger and Challenger, is the big brother of the Scat Pack, R/T, and Shaker. Also, the 6 piston Brembo Brakes is standard not an option on the SRT. In addition the sound system of the SRT 392, is a lot better than Scat Pack. Last but not least. The dynamic suspension on the SRT, is also standard, not an option. The Scat Pack, is a nice model. But the SRT, wins overall in performance, and in looks.

SRT 392 and The Daytona 392 also comes with The Cold Air Intake and Cat back exhaust that the Scat doesn't have. Plus heated and cool front seats and heated rear seats.

Got my redline red 2016 srt challenger in May with full bumper to bumper warranty until June 2024 and it had 3700 miles on it I got it for 39k

Ever since I bought my ‘18 SRT Red Octane Pearl, I’ve noticed that for scat pack owners, they go busy trying to upgrade and bolt on SRT stuff to make their cars as SRT as possible. It would have been cheaper to just get the SRT from the beginning. Sure, my car window sticker went for almost $59k, but hey, I don’t have to worry about bolting anything to make it better. Brake and suspension systems are over $10k by themselves. SRT only items like Active suspension, performance pages, good brakes, excellent stereo, beautiful luxury sepia (yatch quality) leather, beautiful magnesium paddle shifters, active exhaust system, American racing headers from the factory, adaptive cruise control, brass monkey wheels, p-zero summer tires from factory, lane change warning, sunroof, and I can keep going! Try to option all that into a factory level scat pack after purchase, and you’ll spend over $25k just to procure all the stuff, and have it installed in a scat pack. Mine is not a hellcat, but I do like having my adjustable electric steering system, and my adaptive cruise...beautiful. I could install a whipple supercharger, and a conservative boost level to keep the engine happy, and it should yield performance levels similar to the hellcat while keeping the adjustability of the steering and the adaptive cruise. Now that SRT has stopped making 392’s for 2019, I now have the last 392 SRT Mopar has made. 10 years from now, you’ll see lots of scat packs, but how many SRT’s will you see? Rarity increases resale value. It’s all in the VIN number!

The Scat Pack fills in the void of the SRT8 Superbee and is equal in terms of mechanical criteria to pre 2012 SRT8s as all SRTs from 2006 - 2010 Chargers had 4 piston Brembos/fixed Bilsteins like the current Scats

Look, I understand that people want to pose as having something more than they do. There is one simple question that you need to ask yourself, did I pay the premium for an actual SRT? The scatpack says “SRT powered” in the ONLY place that an actual SRT doesn’t. If both cars brand new, and same color sat in front of you at the dealership both optioned-out with only a $1,000 premium for the SRT, which would you choose?

I love my 2018 Daytona I love adaptive Cruze control saves me a ton of money on gas. Also it comes with the Mopar cool air intake which I really think makes a difference. I would spend the extra money for a Daytona anytime. Peace🤙🏻

Engine bay seals the intake! You think Dodge OEM would put something that would heat soak & cause longevity issues
DeltaDog94 even if the hood is closed, ive seen the design of the intake. It will still easily suck on hot engine bay air. Like i said, the best one to get is the aFe GT momentum. Not only is it a closed design, the filter is actually bigger than the stock daytona filter
I was at the Track where some SRT test engineers where at.. They where testing some performance parts for Scat Pack's etc... And I asked them about the upgraded intake.. No IAT above a closed airbox style.. no heat soaking issues and the car was sucking about 5-10% more CFM. I would buy OEM CAI from them

I got a 392 srt challenger for cheaper that 43 and I got it with 31,000 miles on it in Atlanta
When i got my scat pack, it was a no brainer. I bought a 6mt so the dealer had already knocked off some money, and the srts got no discount. My scat stickered at 45k+taxes and fees, i got it for 38k+taxes and fees. Out the door i was right at 40k grand total. Srt would have cost me 55k or so...

Hmmmm i thought 392 was the engine size and you can get a 392 in a RT and SRT. He keep saying the different between this scat and a 392 but his car is a 392 RT that is why it dont say SRT on the streing wheel. . I think he means you couldn get those things on a RT 392 scat but you could on a SRT scat.

What i dont like in this video is the fact that you pointed out there is a $8000 difference but then show a scatpack with SRT options which would make it far less than a $8000 difference. Im looking into buying one of these cars but most the vids seem biased to scats and not a fair comparisons. At 1st i wanted a scat but im def valuing the SRT more and more as the fays go on.. and now they seem to be ad small as a $2000 difference
