I’m at around 135k these days. So far no transmission issues (knock on wood). I attribute it to three things: 1: I don’t drive very aggressive 2. I change the fluid every 35k or so (6 qt or so) 3. I have the updated thermostat that opens at 155 degrees

Great idea, maybe something else to look into is a cigarette lighter air pump. Then new ones work well and aren't a permanent installation.
