@@goingnowhere425 I got this installed last week and love it. I’ve always loved the 997s for how they drove and the feel for the road and with this new head unit, it really brings the interior looks and functionality much closer to that of the newer models.
@@SignalCorps1 agreed. I literally have no reason to upgrade this car. It's a really great balance of today's creature comforts, but still very much of an analog experience.

Where can I find this ? Is this for 997.2 also ? How mich
You can pretty much order it from any Porsche parts department. They all cost around the same. 997.1 only however. Will not work on 997.2
Thanks for the video. Has anyone experience with installing a rear view camera on the PCCM? We don’t get it detected by the PCCM. Any help?

I believe it required some additional hardware, but I haven't invested to look into it that much. I'll end up buying a mirror backup on amazon most likely.
Does the wired connection also charge the phone?
it does! Pretty fast too!

Did you install yourself?
I did! It ended up being pretty super easy and straight forward.
With the included harness, it's truly plug and play. Took me about an hour, and half of that time, was just because I didn't have the proper tools to take out the older radio .
@@goingnowhere425 Did you have a six disc changer? What happens with that?
@@oliverradcliffe7974 I did not have that option with the car, only the BOSE system.
Do you know how to change language?
Yes there is a setting in the menu, should be easy!
