I tried this and it was way too greasy for me. I returned it to Sephora and the sales person acknowledged that it is a very dewy formula. The color options were great and I liked the swatch I tried on my hand in store, but once applied to face at home, my hair kept sticking to it and it was extremely greasy looking on me (and I'm combo skin type).

I’m uncertain of your skin coloring but have you tried the MyChelle Sun Shield Liquid SPF 50 Light/Medium? I like it as my foundation. It’s a sunscreen that I believes doubles as make up/foundation. The only draw back is it can be drying. But, so can the other budget sunscreen she mentioned Australian Gold which I like, also. I just like the coverage more on the MyChelle product. Just giving options. I hope I’m not overstepping.

I love the information on the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint! I have been on the search for a tinted sunscreen for mature skin, one that has a dewy finish. After I watched your video I went out to get the Ilia skin tint and love it! Its not drying, and great for mature dry skin, and the dewy finish is beautiful, and still has a nice coverage, for me, and has a lot of color options. Thanks for your review. Love your videos! Hi Maria! I agree with you. I have been using my face skin care in my neck and aging is still happening. Then you see someone like JLo who doesn’t have issues. I also practice good posture that I learned from ballet. I also try to avoid jowls. There must be something out there that doesn’t break the bank. BTW, I do use prescription retin-a, the neck can only handle retinol once a month with a good thick layer of cream or the thick neck cream by strivectin. In the new year, I’m going to test out Neostrata brand after I give strivectin a chance. 💋

I am so grateful to have found this channel! Thank you for all of your hard work! As the mom of a teenage boy, I would love to see more videos geared for boys. I know that my son can use all of the products teenage girls use but, at 13 he has a difficult time filtering out all of the "girl stuff." For example he is not interested in makeup. Some boys are interested in makeup & that is great! Mine just isn't lol. So much skincare is packaged for women & girls. It is getting better for sure! It would just be so helpful if brands marketed products for boys & men more. Everyone should be taking care of their skin! Taking care of skin is a health decision as well as, sometimes, a beauty decision. Healthy skin is always beautiful &/or handsome!

Dear Dr. Maren, I have been following your advice every time when it comes to Dermatology beauty products. I have gained lots of knowledge of how to select and what to look for. I have two Melasma patches on my cheeks and I have already seen a Dermatologist a month ago and before I went to see her I was following your recommendation and using Naturium Tranexamic Tropical Acid 5% and Maelove the Glow maker antioxidant serum as my night rutien. I am very happy to say ,she said that it has been working quite well and she only prescribed to use a Hydroquinone pea size every other nights. It’s almost a month now and it’s fading away gradually.Besides ,that I have been using Timeless vitamin C serum 20% and Ordinary Buffet serum. I wanted to say Thank you so much.🙏💐Today I have watched your ILIA episode and I am so excited to look for that brand too. Currently I have been using Ella MD and Colorescience sunscreen products on my face and neck .My concern is ,am I be able to use one of those above products ,and use the ILIA on sunscreen on top of it.Can’t wait to see your next Episode 😃🙏💐Thank you .

And I purchased the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. It goes on really nice and feels good as I apply it; but--it’s very drying (that’s with moisturizer under it)
Iam really disappointed as I was so looking forward to a good moisturizing sunscreen with a slight tint. I’ve bought theCereVe Tinted moisturizing sunscreen and love it but it’s sooo dark. What I’ve been doing is mixing a dot of the CereVe and Australian Gold and it feels so good, my question is: is there another one that you recommend without spending $50.00 on 1 tube of sunscreen?
Thank you so much for all your knowledge and help!!! I am new to good skin care and applying sunscreen.

Thank u once again!!! Look forward to your newest tutorials regarding Anyi-aging skincare. Would really like to hear what other serums to apply with the Vit C serum for wrinkles, creepy under eyes and eyelids.

I was using the CeraVe pm as my daytime moisturizer and then using MyChelle as my sunscreen. Now I am using the ordinary buffet, then CeraVe vitamin c then MyChelle and it is pilling and flaking and looks awful. What am I doing wrong? Also tried the Elta MD Restore and the same thing happened. Help!!! I am 66 and have never done skincare other than a moisturizer until the last month or so.

Personally, i much prefer chemical/organic sunscreens with newer filters because my skin just doesn't like zinc oxide. Thankfully, i live in Asia, where all of these amazing sunscreens are sold. But i still watch your video anyway, because your content is always full of great advice. Love from Indonesia!

@@Rwissam1987 i currently use Japanese and French sunscreens, but there are many Korean sunscreens that recently passed the test. Some that didn't pass the test have also been reformulated. They're much more expensive than they were last year, though, that's why i switch to Japanese and French sunscreens.

Agree, we have amazing filters in Europe which mean that the UVA protection is much higher than what they can achieve with FDA approved filters. I personally love P20 SPF50+ (it has a UVA rating of 52), topped up with Bioderma tinted for protection against visible light.

I gave this a try, and it sucked all of the moisture out of my skin. I could only have this on my face for a few hours before it felt dry and papery, and caused flaky patches under my eyes. I’ve been trying to find a mineral sunscreen to wear every day, but I think they’re all too drying for me. In addition to this, I’ve tried Neutrogena, Colorescience Flex, Mychelle and Cerave’s mineral sunscreens, and had dryness issues with all of them. Back to the drawing board.

It looks good but I wouldn’t exactly consider it a budget product at all…$48. for 1 once. As well using about 1/2 teaspoon for one application, that wouldn’t last any longer that 10 days and that’s only using it once a day.
