A few notes about some of the SPFs mentioned here. Colorescience Flex is the most foundation-like SPF I've ever tried. It has a very film-like finish, which is great if it's a match for your skin tone but not so much if it's too dark or light. Paula's Choice has a peach undertone that won't work unless you are a cool skin tone (I'm medium/olive complexion). MD Mineral BB Creme SPF 50 is very heavy, very occlusive and I'd say wearable for only the driest of skin in a dry environment. It has a very heavy silicone feel to it. It is a good primer for foundation but I found that it had far too much slip and makeup came off on my cell phone and clothing easily.
I’m so glad you picked Paula choice for #1 it’s my favorite right now also. It blends so well with my skin tone and love that it’s mineral with the THD.🎉
I have only ever tried the Colorscience and quite liked but, but these days it's all about Korean and Japanese sunscreens for me. i find that they are so much better than western sunscreens. The only western one I like and have repurchased for holidays is La Roche Posay anthelios 400 mune cream, which I used for my dubai holiday and did not get burnt or tanned at all
I love Paula's Choice products and used the Daily Wrinkle Defense for several years, but once I started using tretinoin and the natural effects of aging, the matte formula was to drying under foundation for me. I needed a bit more glow.
Your idea of budget and mine are Vastly different, my choices ...bioderma for all around. Differin for oily, and Misha for makeup, trader Joe's or elf for Dry skin ...all half or more than your prices! 😢 Godspeed Dee
I started using Anthelious AOX daily antioxidant serum with sunscreen SPF 50, by La Rose Pose about a year ago. I had some melasma and it has worked beautifully, and has cleared my face. I believe it should be mentioned, as I tried several ver expensive creams and by a miracle , this sunscreen really works!
she is a dematologist so $35 is a budget 😂. the real budget friendly that in line with majority in this channel may be only around 20%, the rest are mid range & high end products 😂
The pick labeled“Budget” sunscreen is Inkey List…which IS very budget friendly 😉 Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen is my total favorite for under makeup… Looks to be the same product as Naked Sundays invisible sunscreen🧐
I love the Paula’s choice as I wanted something with Resvertrol in and THD. It’s $54 in Australia I just wish it was 50+. I either use that or LRP tinted 50+
I love the Colorscience Sunscreens, but want to try a more affordable sunscreen so I went with the Naked Sunday products. I'm hoping I will enjoy them. I love makeup skincare products and just see the benefits to my skin rather then regular cakey makeup.
At this point I don’t know why would anyone still use American sunscreens. I stopped using them years ago when I discovered korean/Japanese sunscreens. Far more superior uv filters, very cosmetically elegant and truly budget friendly.
A new subscriber, please do you know the cause of the sensation am having, I have tingling or itching that is very uncomfortable and unbearable and it happens when I exercise. and I also noticed that when I excersize and sweat i dont feel it but if i excercise in a cold environment and sweat is not physically released that's when I feel the severe tingling itch. Please do you know the cause and solution
Please I need urgent answer, as I am having a football trial coming up and it's so unbearable, went to a doctor and booked an appointment but my appointment is far and I can't wait till then 😢

I second this!
I've heard a lot of good things on Japanese sun screens (and skin care products) in general. Can you do some review/comparison on them please~

I’ve found that applying the one layer of PC Essential Glow sunscreen then another layer of PC Wrinkle Resist over top is my perfect combo!

Beauty of Joseon sunscreen wins for me!! 🏆
It’s been a literal life changer for me 😊
I JUST got mine. I’m so excited. Good to know you love it.
La Roche Posay
Several derms love it and one of the Purito ones as well.
These products are not budget friendly. The price for Paula's choice is over $35 for 2 oz

The pick labeled“Budget” sunscreen is Inkey List…which IS very budget friendly 😉
And you have to wear a lot to get the spf in the bottle.
You can get a travel size for about 11 dollars to try out first. I did.
@@dominiquedeangelo2616 doesnt make it more affordable. That $11 would be gone in 2 proper applications.

I love the Naked Sundays lip oils. I’ve been using them for a year.
Should you use one with vitamin c in it if you're also applying a vitamin c serum right before putting the on the sunscreen?
i love naked sundays mineral sunscreen for fair skin. the lip oil is also really good.
How does the Paula’s choice work for dry and sensitive skin?
Do you have recommendations for sunscreens and lip sunscreens for people allergic to salicylates?
I love the Paula’s choice as I wanted something with Resvertrol in and THD. It’s $54 in Australia I just wish it was 50+. I either use that or LRP tinted 50+
How to you feel about Obagi sunscreen. Is it worth the money as compared to your #1 Choice - Paula’s Choice?
I love the Colorscience Sunscreens, but want to try a more affordable sunscreen so I went with the Naked Sunday products. I'm hoping I will enjoy them. I love makeup skincare products and just see the benefits to my skin rather then regular cakey makeup.
Yay Aussie seeing an Aussie brand! Love the naked Sundays products!
I go with either Drmatolgy or Beauty of Joseon!
Maren - what about Paula’s Choice Skin Restoring moisturizer SPF 50. i’ve had basal cells on face, so higher SPF is always priority for me.
Eye sunscreens?
I am almost out of my Olay moisturizer sunscreen so this is perfect timing.
Such a good video! So much great information to it into practice.
Question Dr L? Is it okay to cleanse my face in the morning and evening? Please thank you.
Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and opinions with us all xx
I love Naked Sundays sunscreen, it blends perfectly with my skin tone and feels great. Thanks so much Maren for another excellent video. ❤❤❤
Have you tried the TULA Ultimate sun serum pentapeptide sunscreen?
Skinbetter Science Sheer for men. Crazy amazing.
Hi. I am using spf 100 but I see black spots. What do I have to do with the sunscreen
Do you have a spf for kiddos that you recommend?? On the face
The top matt sunscreen feels very great. What do u recommend for a mineral oil free, non greasy sunscreen for the face?
So many good ones! I love love the Naked Sundays and their ethics. I also love some Bondi sands but I have dry skin 😊 oh and beauty of josean
Can you recommend a body sunscreen with iron oxide?
Do you still do the finger length application
Great video!!
Would the banana boat be ok for a 1 & 3 y/o?
SPF 30 isn't enough for south Texas. Bummer
Thank you.. you don’t discuss which one is best for reapplication, and percentages of all these sun protection.
Thank you. Loved that🎉
I can't find any sunscreen that does not cake and melt makeup.
I think that what used to be "budget" has gotten more expense ....i think we have to adapt to the modern prices😢😢
You do not discuss percentages or ingredients for all of the products. You did for a couple but would be helpful if you consistently did for each.
OMG I want your eyelashes please help! heehee thank you for all your recommendations!
At this point I don’t know why would anyone still use American sunscreens. I stopped using them years ago when I discovered korean/Japanese sunscreens. Far more superior uv filters, very cosmetically elegant and truly budget friendly.
Where do you purchase those?
Agreed just bought Skin1004 sunscreen omg it is like night and day
Many Korean sunscreens were found to be lying about their SPF's. Now I can't trust any of them.
Garnier and Nivea have some unexpensive wonderful unfragranced sunscreens.
❤

... you're going to have to go to a Medical Doctor in Person. This youtube channel can't diagnose you.
