Great episode! Very informative! Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Excellent topic thank you. I pretty much try to order from Amazon or Gruv. Both I don't have to order multiple discs to get free shipping, a big positive for my budget. With Amazon I have had to replace a couple damaged discs/cases, but at least they make the return process simple and FREE. Love GRUV, they always ship fast (less than a week), and have ongoing ever changing sales that are fantastic, downside being only Universal titles with a few Warner.
Yes, shipping charges are also a consideration. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great to hear other people's experiences. I have been having more and more problems with Amazon. I don't know why they started shipping things in what is essentially a grocery bag from the 80's. 4k discs are very sensitive to scratches and at least a third of the ones I order from Amazon have a loose disc. I have been trying to use other vendors for my buying needs. I have used some of the good ones you mentioned with no problems. I also get a lot from Vinegar Syndrome and have had no problems. I know thin packaging could be a problem for steelbooks because they can dent easily. Anyway, Great episode Jerry!
Good point about steel books. Thanks!
Amazon are terrible for theft. I've had all kinds stolen over the years. Cases with no discs, hard drives, books. I think the drivers treat it like a perk of the job 🤣
@@paulconway384 Seems like it’s always a crapshoot ordering from them.
One complaint against Diabolik. I bought a Blu-Ray that developed rot within two years. They refused outright to replace it. Disappointing.
@@paulconway384 Oh, that’s unfortunate. I’ve been in denial about disc rot but eventually I’ll have to inspect some older discs.
