I asked Eddie Muller about this Argentinian movie on Ask Eddie about a year ago. He was very reticent to talk about it, but i,m glad it s coming on bluray!😁 Update: release is on June 24.
Woman on the Run is good, very good at times but not great IMO.. I'm trying to remember my review which I've lost. I remember some dialog (was it by the chief of police or the detective on the case?) which was trying too hard to be sort of smart ass noir dialog but ended up being almost a caricature of itself. The ending in the amusement park was excellent with outstanding cinematography in that scene as well as the whole film. Indeed, the cinematography might be the film's greatest strength. Norman Foster's direction was solid and the acting uniformly good. On the whole, quite enjoyable and fans of noir will like it. I'd be interested in knowing your, say, 5 or 10 favorite noirs. Thanks

Flicker Alley is great! Just wish they weren't so expensive to import in the UK
Yes, that is unfortunate.
I have only one Flicker Alley title. The Lost World (1925). It looks magnificent but their blurays are really pricey.
I have that title as well. Hopefully a possible upcoming sale will feature better prices.
