I would love to see you figure out that woven bump that Janice Rand wore on the original Star Trek. There were so many great styles in that show, you could do a whole series of “Wigs in Space”!
One thing I really admire about you Jaymes is that you gives kudos to the women that inspired your style in a very empathetic way where a lot of press media didn't during their rise in Hollywood.
This hair turned out so beautifully and I think it's one of my favourites too! You're such a star ⭐️
Love that you featured Mamie Van Doren, I don't think she's very well known by today's generation. Not as much as Marilyn and Jayne at least. Love the pale pink lipstick with that wig it's very 1960s! The wig came out gorge as usual 🤩🤩🤩

Freddy and the Song of the Prairie - German title. The actress who dubbed Mamie in this film dubbed also Marilyn Monroe in most of her films - Margot Leonard-Schnell. Mamie sang also very sweet in German ☺️🤗

I'd love to hear more about the icons from the 50s and 60s, people like Diana Dors, Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak, Hayley Mills etc. You could even start earlier and do a pseudo-chronological series with the early stars - for example Jean Harlow, Betty Grable and Veronica Lake. We'd all watch! 🖤

I don't know if you've seen my previous comment but I would LOVE to see you do this same series for iconic brunette Latinas. You really look so good in dark hair and given your heritage and knowledge, it sounds like a perfect idea. Also, educating people on the lesser known/celebrated Latina actresses is important, I feel.

Really serving the 60s glamour Jaymes, you should be at the bar in the Flamingo Hotel lol! I'm glad you featured Mamie too because I really enjoy her movies - she's always 100% committed to her characters no matter what. My favorite is "Guns, Girls and Gangsters" because her opening number in the nightclub with the dancing boys is everything LOL!! Also "Untamed Youth" where she's sentenced to a youth(!) work farm TO PICK COTTON lolol!
I got the sweetest compliment from Mamie just last year on my facebook, I was floored when I saw who it was.
That kind of hairstyle makes me want to try that iconic blonde look that Grace Lee Whitney had as Janice Rand. The one that looks kind of like a woven basket on the front, because I have no idea how it's done, but it's a similar updo kind of vibe.
As a Trek costumer for life that's just really learning wig styling (thank you, Jaymes! ;) Yeoman Rand is my LIFEGOAL at this point! Jaymes teaching me about wig stacking has opened up a whole new universe of ideas. Let me tell you, if I can figure it out, I know a whole lotta Trek costumers will make the gold-pressed latinum RAIN!

You should do another iconic blonde: Dolly Parton! She had some crazy styles! Also I would love to see an Ann Miller wig recreation. She’s my fave and her 70s and 80s wigs were intense. A wig saved her life actually. I believe a light fell on her when she was rehearsing/performing and her heavily hairsprayed wig saved her life!

i'd love to see you do videos like these for jean harlow, ava gardner, or even anna nicole smith! i appreciate not just the research you clearly put into these videos, but how you humanize and empathize with the subject...a lot of videos focus on sensationalizing, but i think you balance fact with humor, and the reverence you have for these stars really shine! i loved your history videos, and i could listen and re-listen to these all day every day!
