HOLY POOP AN ESSAY! I think the saddest thing about the ending here is that Drunk House set himself to be broken up with. So check it out, whenever House tries to convince people to do what he wants he goes and DOES things that make the people want to do that thing. So that one episode where Foreman takes House's Nametag; in order to get what he wants, an apology from someone he did not hurt. House intentionally hurts them in front of Cuddys office and pretends it's an accident to pretend she is forgiving him for something he did not do. Another example is when House want Wilson to have a surgery he does not want; in order to get what he wants he intentionally does something that while silly pulls on Wilsons heart string that he temporarily agrees. IN THIS SCENE: House knows he needs to be apart from Cuddy; everything he did for Cuddy was time wasted for the Patient, BUT he does not want to lose the potential happiness he gets from her. SO House goes behind his own back, he gets plastered, and he tells Cuddy the truth; he IS a worse doctor with Cuddy because all he wants is to make her happy. YES he know that he could NOT do what he did again, but he knows circumstances will align to make him show his love in small ways that WILL sacrifice time he could have for his Patients. In spite of this, he admits that to him Killing a Patient is worth it because she makes him happy. So he took his own choice away and gave Cuddy the choice Does Cuddy think her relationship with House is worth the lives of the Patients that go in her Hospital House forced her to choose the Hospital. TLDR: House perposefully made Cuddy choose between her love for him, and what his actions would cause if he did not focus 100% on his patients
A completely nonsensical essay. What happened here is that he lost a patient and didn't know how to cope with that. He says the words that "it happens" but clearly he doesn't really believe that. Especially since he spent a bunch of time during the DDX thinking about Cuddy, he blames her for it, taking some of the guilt off of him in his head. The story isn't some big conspiracy it's very straightforward with what was going on. And then, being drunk, he thought showing up at her house to lay that blame on her was a loving gesture. It may feed into what comes later by happenstance but that's some post-hoc nonsense.
It was also a way to test her if she was able to love in the same way as him and if she was worth it for the long term. He showed up when it mattered, she just said because he took vicodin so he could bear it that it didnt count.
yep I agree. Basically telling her that he knew they needed to break up but he couldn’t do it (whether he was right or not is one thing, but it is what he believed) He was telling her that she had to be the one to choose for them because he wasn’t strong enough to make that decision House is smart enough to know, even while drunk, that what he said at the end wasn’t romantic at all, and that’s why he said it so jokingly pathetically
“You only do things when they serve to benefit you.” He’s right, but it’s a total fallacy in his argument😂. “Doing something nice for my girlfriend” would be his gesture of showing he cares and wanting to remain in her life and vice versa lmao.
“Why do people believe I’m incapable of doing anything nice?” I have the answer: “Well because you’re generally a jerk and unkind unpleasant person and Doctor but sometimes a “jerk with a heart of gold” Plus you’re “Doctor Jerk” you’re on tvtropes on the page image. 😂😂
When you take the Jungian archetype of the “healer” as it’s known in post-modern literature, and some would say in pre-modern too 👇🏻👇🏻but that’s another discussion entirely, it’s one of the 🫸🏻🫷🏻modalities that structure🤜🏻🤛🏻 and reassemble 🫱🏻🫲🏻 a sense of community👉🏻👈🏻 and tribalism 👐🏻 in the hierarchy of the modern workplace!! aka House made Cuddy break up with him because he wasn’t strong enough, even though he believed it was the right decision
Dr House cuddy and wilson is best friends first in the place in the mighty name of Jesus all things are possible pray for the poor pray for the family can't afford pray for the veterans pray for the needy send
He's blaming her but I feel like he really blames himself. I think he passed off the patients death as nothing, but it really hurts him he's just completely incapable of communicating it
That's where writers chose melodrama over realistic development in my opinion. First of all, it's BS that a genius can be brilliant only when he/she is miserable. Lots of talented people are more productive/efficient when they are stable and happy. Secondly, it was getting old when they tried so hard to make House super flakey. Yeah, we got it: he's anti-social and unstable. Doesn't mean he would be making a big fuss over every other little issue, he's still an adult, you know. I love the show but at times they overdid it by blowing his ''problematic'' side way out of proportion.
Because she wanted her boyfriend to be there and he didn’t have the decency to call and say he is not coming and left her worrying that something but might have happened????
"Hehe, my head's on your baginga" Dude house.... the heck is wrong with you? Stunted at 11 and never grew past that? It was Way Beyond childish to say that. It was pure cringe. And what's even worse, and she's all happy and having fun in his mind and she's over there about to wreck his whole world
They went for 75 minutes but they had to condense them to under 10 minutes by taking out unnecessary and repetitive content because the old TVs couldn’t hold anything over 10 minutes. The mondo Houser shows are very short always less than 10 minutes because of the primitive mondo TVs they had back then. The old old old TVs could not hold more than 10 minutes of show as they used CRT Catholic Ray Tubs technology and non Dylan Mulvaney CLT or Claw Technology. No harm no fowl. They tried Dylan Mulvaney to shorten the shows advertising and tried to produce a non racist TV set with Motorola involvement with flypaper control and Dylan Mulvaney CEO.

House definitely considered her feelings, he's not an idiot. But that consideration just wasn't strong enough to change him in the way that's compatible with her.
See you gotta understand House's motives in all this. It's easy to forget the guy was abused and is burdened by genius. He suffered trauma from his bum leg. He hates himself. But he also needs extreme levels of validation (cue all the moronic games and pranks he plays on his fellows, Wilson and Cuddy), he has an intense fear of commitment and being loved, cue all of this scene, and truly believes that because he is constant pain, he is the only person who can be objective, and be a good doctor. He hates his emotions and his empathy. Probably the same reason any young boy seeking his father's love struggles to show emotions. He pushes everyone away because he believes he deserves it and being a misanthrope makes him the best. He knows nothing else than this. Arguably the first person he first admired who didn't let him down was that shamanic dude who knew all the answers. He shaped himself to be this person, a genius by all rights. Idk if that qualifies as toxic or just that...he's 40some year old guy who never dealt with his issues.

YES he know that he could NOT do what he did again, but he knows circumstances will align to make him show his love in small ways that WILL sacrifice time he could have for his Patients.
In spite of this, he admits that to him Killing a Patient is worth it because she makes him happy.
So he took his own choice away and gave Cuddy the choice
Does Cuddy think her relationship with House is worth the lives of the Patients that go in her Hospital
House forced her to choose the Hospital.
TLDR:
House perposefully made Cuddy choose between her love for him, and what his actions would cause if he did not focus 100% on his patients
@@ethosterros9430he didn’t show up when it mattered that’s the entire point.
yep I agree. Basically telling her that he knew they needed to break up but he couldn’t do it (whether he was right or not is one thing, but it is what he believed)
He was telling her that she had to be the one to choose for them because he wasn’t strong enough to make that decision
House is smart enough to know, even while drunk, that what he said at the end wasn’t romantic at all, and that’s why he said it so jokingly pathetically
4:24😂
Here to make mention of King Juan Gabriel
“You only do things when they serve to benefit you.”
He’s right, but it’s a total fallacy in his argument😂. “Doing something nice for my girlfriend” would be his gesture of showing he cares and wanting to remain in her life and vice versa lmao.
“Why do people believe I’m incapable of doing anything nice?”
I have the answer: “Well because you’re generally a jerk and unkind unpleasant person and Doctor but sometimes a “jerk with a heart of gold”
Plus you’re “Doctor Jerk” you’re on tvtropes on the page image. 😂😂
He chose her because he knew she'd choose saving patients.
I wish Jordan Peterson could explain the ending here.
Foreman and Masters face at genital herpes month 😂😂
I just hate that they could NEVER have a good moment
Except when they made love.
Dr. House unfortunately was correct about Dr. Cuddy, especially because a boss should never be dating an employee.
i wanna cry
Who is the blonde woman behind Cuddy, when she leaves the elevator?
Did he go and do badly, or did not go at all ? Who remembers the full episode?
He should take the guitar.
Juan gabriel mention.
How does house hide in the elevator?
But she broke up with him..... :(
But he wasn’t in the elevator …

I am not comfortable with this House 😢
And this is the point where Cuddy was like "Yes! I broke House. Time to start looking for another man. First excuse i get, I'm duping House!"
This Huddy ARC felt forced for some reason.

He's toxic. Makes her life miserable and blames on his love for her. Pass
You know it's a TV show right?
He's blaming her but I feel like he really blames himself. I think he passed off the patients death as nothing, but it really hurts him he's just completely incapable of communicating it
Yo
The middle mine of an amazing story mind. ,us the thought process..looking forward to seeing you soon 😅 make em sweat or 🤬 or swear 🤬
What?
That's where writers chose melodrama over realistic development in my opinion. First of all, it's BS that a genius can be brilliant only when he/she is miserable. Lots of talented people are more productive/efficient when they are stable and happy. Secondly, it was getting old when they tried so hard to make House super flakey. Yeah, we got it: he's anti-social and unstable. Doesn't mean he would be making a big fuss over every other little issue, he's still an adult, you know. I love the show but at times they overdid it by blowing his ''problematic'' side way out of proportion.
That oh so boring relationship was the final ruination of a great show
Im tht second person here
Idk why, but Cuddy really started to get on my nerves this episode 😂 Am I alone here? Lol
Because she wanted her boyfriend to be there and he didn’t have the decency to call and say he is not coming and left her worrying that something but might have happened????
"Hehe, my head's on your baginga"
Dude house.... the heck is wrong with you?
I’ll say this too God is the image of youth also baffling ingenuous 🧬brilliant genetic DNA masterpieces.
Dr. House is serious when it comes to treating patients
He also has a Crazy Horse Side. 🫵🤨👍
I don’t know why people would think this is sweet and think this scene is one of the reasons they shouldn’t have broken up when in reality House never considered Cuddy’s feelings from the time he made her chase him at the beginning down to the time he ghosted her to showing up drunk and expressive and sweet ,that’s a 360 of emotions he was TOXIC this guy
And yet it's acceptable for women to do it
@@MyDeerFriendTim No it isn't and no one here is saying that.
You could at least try to address the point instead of boxing with ghosts.
You don't get it

Ofc he was toxic, but that wasn't a surprise. Cuddy wasn't even in denial about it, she knew exactly what she was signing up for. But she somehow expected him to "be better", which is actually kinda toxic in itself.
@@ottokarl5427 he gave the impression he would actually try to do better so I think Cuddy was well within her rights to expect him to do what he said he’d do😅
@@Us71-17 I'm pretty sure he literally said that he's screwed up and won't change (since "people don't change" after all) before they got together. So I'm not sure where you got that promise of change from. They literally got together the second when he was about to go back to his drug addiction.
