- We replace the inner & outer tie rods along with upper control arms and sway bar links on our 2003 Trailblazer. Then do a quick alignment with a tape measure.

Could have used your cut wheel to remove part of the fender so the bolt comes out
24:15 That little packet of "thread lock" is not thread lock. It's grease for the joint.
If you still have issues, check the support brackets for the lower control arm. They also have to do with alignment on the Envoys/ trailblazers.

Best to change whole front ends, lower control arms and everything, sway bar bushings
My question is this. Where did you find the ubolt with the 1/2 drive insert😢 i could really use one of those
Safety glasses for your son, Please. Especially with impact tools.
Showing how to bend back the metal fender area to allow some wiggle room for the driver’s side upper control area left bolt gives another option. Others us dremels to grind down from engine compartment. Or cut with a mini saws all from the wheel well and bend back. Those methods would require painting to prohibit rust. The plastic splash guard Evan be bent to allow all these methods.
Getting on your back and using two interlocked wrenches is the best way to break the bolts loose if stuck. Always the case if rusted. The Dannitor technique.

When you measured the driver side and got 1 15/16 it looked like the rule said 2 15/16.
Should have cracked the inner nut loose before knocking the outer tie rod out
why would you do all that work and not replace the lower control arms and struts ???????
