It'll be a long, long time before Pizza Hut gets any more money from me.

Back in the day PJ use to give out free coupons for large cheese pizza & a 2 liter. So we'd call tell them about the coupon & order delivery. The driver would either forget to ask & if he did we'd say we misplaced it but we always made sure to tip the driver so the wouldn't snitch. That shit worked for 2 years while in college.
I do something similar with coupons for drive-thrus... I always start bullshitting about silly things when I pull up to the window & keep complimenting when I hand the $ & they never ask for the coupons. 😊

Computer systems can be created that require the cashier to scan the barcode from the coupon (as in, they cannot proceed with the order and list the barcode is being scanned) So even if the cashier wants to help you out, the technology can prevent them from doing that. Honestly even back in the day, I'm surprised that the pizza shop didn't record the phone numbers of people who ordered free pizzas specifically so they couldn't game the system the way that you did.
