Watching Maximilian play Street Fighter The Movie was best day of our lives but for Maximilian it was Tuesday. Or in this case Saturday.
they call the uppercut "dragon", the spinning kick "hurricane" but still keep hadouken instead of his screaming "fireball". odd choice.

During the Ken vs Ryu fights I came to realize something. It actually does make sense that Ken would say the English translations for the moves and Ryu the Japanese.
That and yes those people have a frightening amount of frames of animation.
That, and I can't blame anyone for not being able to pronounce Tatsu's full name. All these years and I can't spell it, much less pronounce it.

My favourite part about this game is that you don't actually get to see Raul Julia shout "GAME OVAAAAAH" unless you beat the game, you just get the soundclip if you lose. It's a reward to see that guy play as Bison.

If I remember what little reading I did right, the commands to do such are not only specific to who you're using, they vary based on the target. Counter-throwing Ryu needs different inputs to Chun-li or Guile, even if you fought all three with Ken, and those same inputs wouldn't work with Zangief. The Slammaster is another input again.
I suppose someone will call me out if I'm completely off-base.
The actor who plays Ken, Damian Chapa, is a Chicano legend thanks to Blood In Blood Out. Vatos locos forever.
I'll give 'em this… the actors did a _great_ job replicating the characters moves and mannerisms (for the most part).

It's strange how well this plays for being a game based off a movie based off game.
For you the day bison graced your village was the most important day of your life but for me it was tuesday.
I love watching Max play busted fighting games, or just jank-ass games in general-looking at you, Sub Zero Mythologies.
There is something oddly charming about Max being whooped and him being vocally frustrated about it in his own way and it is just hilarious.
And the guy that played Zangief is Andrew Bryniarski. He also played Leatherface at 1 point.

Some Fun Fact that I found: In the console version of Street Fighter The Movie, Ken's VA was voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama (who voices Batsu, Demitri and Joe)
I wish Capcom would add Sawada to SFV. Or if they want to keep it 100% Capcom, put Carlos from Final Fight 2 and give him the moveset.

Man this game was never touched in arcades back in the day, i swear it was like the cabinet had the plague or something, no one ever went near it, lmao. Honestly tho it's goofy and sort of fun in a weird way. Definitely still trash tho.
