I don't know why nobody does that. If I were a member of a famous band, I would surely share my settings, show how to play specific riffs or even whole songs. It would only help me and my band. Now we have softwares to understand better each note, but when I was a beginner, I would give up trying to learn a song without available correct tabs.

Kiko. You have really brought new life and energy to Megadeth with these videos. It's not just grumpy Dave putting out albums hoping you could catch Megadeth in concert. It really helps reel us old fans back in. Great job.
The Neural guys are amazing people. While I'm long term using my Helix for stuff because it is integrated so well into my setup I had a lot of conversations with these guys during the process of the development of the Quad Cortex and specifically to try to make the eventual editor software more accessible for the blind. They gave it a shot and I think will keep trying at it off and on as it develops more. Great seeing you using a peace of gear like that on stage and giving these guys some very high profile love and exposure to new markets. Keep doing your thing brother
Watching Kiko (and Keaton) teaching us a lot of stuff about his "gadgets" while Hallowed Be Thy Name is playing on the background. Am I at heaven??? lol What a great video!!
Hahahaha that's the most professional explanation/ improvisation ever. Thank you Kiko, I'm really wondering to move to quad-cortex. See you in Indianola 🤘
Thanks for showing that. Your the man. You were playing a rad gibson les paul in Boston witch was a sick show. They should definitely give you a signature one.
It makes me glad that I just got a multieffect pedal with amps and cabinets simulators and I thought of using the same old school concept of "having" one amp and cabinet, and just adding the different effects to the same one "amp and cab", and seeing Kiko, (one of childhood idols) doing it the same way. Obviously, I cannot compare myself to Kiko, but it makes me think I'm doing something right, if I'm doing the same thing he's doing.

Kiko has been involved in QC since the beginning so he is just another piece of the youtube hype machine. I've had it and think the AxeFx is definitely a more complete MultiFX unit and better sounding but then again I dont really play metal.
@@EJH-jn6mo I know but Neural DSP officially confirmed about the Kiko's quad cortex use just few weeks back (that is if you follow their page). Archetype: Kiko is whole other concept in relevance of what I've said because we fans patiently wait for its arrival from the maestro himself.

This is so cool of you Kiko. It’s great for the fans to be able to connect. I’m so glad that Dave brought you in to Megadeth. It’s also exposed your music to so many people that otherwise would not have heard it. It looks like you guys are running like a well oiled machine. So professional and engaging to the fans. And everyone exercising and no one abusing drugs or alcohol. The new music is as good as ever. Keep it up!
Kiko, first of all you are a role model to me. I really appreciate everything you do, music and on UA-cam. Second, I have a question. Since you don’t use an axe fx anymore, would you be willing to share your old patches. I’m hoping they will magically help me play partially as good as you.
Interesting to see the QC on a gig like this! Convenience has it's advantages! I'm sure the crew likes working with it. Nice of Kiko to show us his setup! I always enjoy seeing stuff like this! ( The show.... behind the show! )
Meu Deus! Esse vídeo foi muito esclarecedor! Sempre me perguntei como os efeitos nos pedais eram controlados sem os pedais nos palcos. Agora tudo faz sentido
I saw you in Michigan the other day. I was surprised to see you playing a Les Paul. I like your the looks of your green Ibanez better, but by far the Les Paul cut through the mix the best. Great playing and great show!

The first time I heard of the Quad Cortex was when I heard that Kiko was using one. That's enough of an endorsement for me. I came here assuming he'd be using a bespoke capture. The fact that it's just one of the stock amp models is amazing. Can't wait to get a QC and try out his patches!

@@danrao3707 many people are using solid state amps simply for headroom. They aren’t cranking it and sending 700w to the cab. Remember. Fender needs 200w to simulate a 40w tube amp. Basically 4x as much power. 700w amps do 350 into an 8 ohm cab which is a bit less than 4x 100w.
Kiko I was at the show last night in Cincinnati. Every band did an amazing job. However, I noticed the Megadeth set was cut short. What was the reason? I really wanted to hear The Conjuring, Tornado of Souls, etc...

But it looks like Kiko has every sound set up as a separate preset. So, is the midi controlled switching as smooth as scene changes? I guess the tech does all the preset / stomp switching! I wonder what Dave uses?
actually it's all automated by time code he just said using a program called digital performer that is initiated at the start of each song. i presume the drummer uses a click track and all the patch changes occur at precisely the right time throughout any given song. i also assume that dave would have to have a similar type of setup. you can't have a bunch of dudes stomping pedals backstage the whole show, but that would be funny though seeing a few guys jumping around doing that.
