Just decipher it piece by piece. It's honestly not that hard as people make it out to be. They just all want to go fast and then they don't get the picking, rhythm, and notes right. Just go slow and work your way up. Same goes for the solo. Go piece by piece. Look at live videos (like this one) of ACTUAL band members playing the songs. Look at their finger placements. Listen to the notes if you can't tell what he's playing. Sing/Hum the song/melody and you'll get it eventually.

Kind of deep but- if Dave Mustaine somehow stayed with Metallica he could’ve died while touring for Master of Puppets. Of course there are other factors, for instance, would there even be a Master of Puppets or would they have even toured on that day? Anyway it’s just fun to think about a Metallica lineup with Cliff and Dave
A lifetime of listening to both bands, Megadeth is still my favorite, darker, faster, dare I say heavier? Metallica has it's moments, I still play and own all their albums but some are owned clearly for the collector in me. Anyway, Metallica has come through town a couple times in recent years and I've found better ways to spend my money than to listen to the guys fumble through their classics with a detuned bass heavy production sound and at slower tempos. Megadeth Won the battle in my mind.
Kiko is my favourite guitar player since 2004 when I discovered Angra, and Megadeth is one of my favourite bands since more or less the same year, but somehow I still find it weird that Kiko is in Megadeth after 5 or 6 years. It's like the Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover.

Been going back to this video every once in a while for 5 years and I'm still amazed how his fingers just casually 'glide' over the fretboard.
Hey Kiko ... I consider you as the final level of guitar playing.... Once I will be able to play with energy and with style like yours , I will win !
@@mronemanband1 what, thats kiko
@@mronemanband1 thats kiko.....
You forgot the secret stage - Dime
i don't think there is a final level. You can always improve
@@uroboric Petrucci is final level imo
Impressive, but can you play the smoke on the water riff without getting copyright claimed?
XD TRUE
That's easy bro. The thing is, can he play sertão without getting copyright claimed?
that’s easy, play stairway to heaven without it getting claimed
Only Chuck Norris could do that.
Kiko Loureiro é o Brasil que dá certo
Dude, It looks like you picked this up like it was "Smoke On The Water"! You are an Awesome Guitarist!!!
Yep, for years he's been a teacher 😄
Always covering magazines with his lessons.
He is a member of Megadeth so yeah he kinda had to pick it up
5:23 man I love that part of Tornado Of Souls 😂
Same here😂
Give me the sauce or I tell the boss
@@blakedavis2447 what😂
alskupalsku 777 GIVE ME THE SAUCE OR I TELL THE BOSS lewd pictures now !
@@blakedavis2447 ok what sauce do u want? And lol I don't have a boss
His fluidity where needed, and economy of movement is staggering
I love Dystopia. Dystopia is a fxxking wicked album. Ive thrashed it!! Kiko's instrumental on that is way out there!!!
I can't tell you how many times ive come back to this video
This song is a masterpiece.
I'm so glad Mustaine got fired from Metallica.
Because of that we can listen to this masterpiece🤘🏻🤘🏻
Amen!
@metho1234 Metallica is 10x more popular after all these years so you saying megadeth is more timeless makes no sense?
Mó orgulho de ver vc nesse patamar Kiko.
Amo Angra e amo o Megadeth.
TE RESPEITO COMO O AIRTON SENNA
VC É CAMPEÃO NO QUE FAZ
His guitar playing is so full of energy that I feared something was going to explode \m/ Beautiful!
Julián David González Ahumada lo encontré
I had the same feeling here. Each note is a little blast!
Something did ;)
My efficiency has sky rocketed since i started studying these videos, your technique is truly out of this world, thanks man, you guys need to come back to Philly!
Anyone with basic understanding of guitar, music and world in general knows that Kiko is a beast
I love how when he deviates from the original he keeps the purpose in mind. He does his own thing but he makes sure his own take serves the same purpose as Marty's original and I think that's a really tasteful way to take a masterpiece and make it your own
Amen
100% agree.
Kiko é um mito! Tesouro manda bem demais! Orgulho BR! \m/ 🎸🇧🇷
Carlos Augusto Mares Dias exato
nailed the solo… dave chose the right guy for the band u rock kiko🤘🏻
Kiko is very devoted in what it does. He's so talented and i really enjoy his works and his contribution to fans.
Thank you Kiko, from Italy 🇮🇹
That solo makes me live!
And Kiko is obviously one of the best guitarists I've ever heard. Great technique and awesome soul. 🤘🔥
I've watched this video about 70 times just to see Kiko playing the solo.
Me too!
Same 🦞
3:12 - 4:12 You're welcome 🤘🏼
esooo mierdaaaa jajaja
4:10 - 4:14.. kiko precision knows no limit.... fav guitarist
ItNeverEnds kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
ItNeverEnds 🤣🤣🤣
Ahahaha...
Quero ver
Outra vez
Seus olhinhos na noite
Serenaaaaaa !!!!
Kkkkkkkkk
aaah por que? ele ta cansado?
5:22 À Tout Le Monde wanted to get in on the action as well, lol.
In my playlist, after Tornado of souls comes A tout le monde lol
Someone please explain i dont do french 😂
@@thfreakin it's a song by megadeth which loosely translated means 'to all the world' or 'to everyone'

A French guy somewhere appreciated the well accented ''À'' you've written
Honestly entranced by how methodical his hand and thumb placements on the neck are. It’s just so efficient and smooth
Kiko... one of the most underrated players in rock. Then again, most hard rock/metal/melodic rock players get overlooked in the grand scheme of all things music! That's why the 80's were so cool... NO ONE good went unnoticed for very long.
Kiko is right up with the rest of the few really awesome players still around. I've been a professional player since my late teens... and I could listen to Kiko all day! 👍
KIKO! Not many people can play that solo, Amazing Job man you are an absolute beast!
RamDi3sel ....yea not even Dave Mustaine.😉😉😉😉
Hey dat cuz my fingers are tiny :(
This is the greatest metal song of all time.
Kiko is amazing. Im glad he got to be a part of megadeth and i hope he enjoys much success in his future. I hope he gets that family/work life balance to make him happy! You will be missed
Some 10 years ago Kiko went to my university in Brazil to give a workshop, I was blown away with his playing. At the time he was promoting his solo album, and played a couple of songs of his, and some others from Angra.
3:03 the harmony sounds like an iron maiden riff
yes, true! I'm thinking the same thing...a classic 3 guitars Maiden harmony
Maiden influenced a metric shit ton of us guitar players. no way that won't bleed through!
the number of the beast
OF COURSE!!!!
Kinda sounds like The Number of the Beast, in some spots.
In the solo after the minute 4:04, The feeling is like being in the middle of a tornado, excellent solo!!
Megadeth is such an amazing band... I cannot get over it......25+ years of being a fan still........
