I agree. I have so many memories in the season 2 and 3 than the rest combined when I have played more games on the rest of the seasons. But I guess it is more to do with nostalgia.

I said this as soon as he got to season three, there’s no way all of those have happened this quickly
They all lasted the same amount of time I think, but the reason s4-s10 feels so quick is because s4 is when covid hit. I would know, I stopped playing the game at s1 when there wasn't much content and started again with the pandemic when life had too many worries
Still the best BR out there, no other game offers such in depth, movement, looting, communication and other stuff

I’m surprised he didn’t mention the prowler and how it was the most powerful gun on the game when equipped with the select fire which made it fully automatic.

Remember when the devo dominated for a week then they nerfed it.
Pretty much every weapon had its time where they were completely broken
the fact that you can stick a 8x and a double tap on it was wild.
I miss those days when Alternator with Disruptor was incredibly op and Hammerpoint Mozambique was just broken, dealing 102 damage in a single shot
I really enjoyed watching this, and getting to know some of the history. It took me too long to jump onto this game.

Oh man, I knew I started apex early, but didn't realize til your vid that I was a near day 1 player. Brought back so many memories from college of earning skins and maining Lifeline. Stopped for a while cause of work, but recently getting back into Apex and this was such a treat to see in my recs.
That was fantastic, as someone who suffers deep depression daily this walk through Apex time was VERY nice. Played since launch and loved the recap. Thank you for the video :)

As a season 0-4 player, coming backing during season 8-10 has been a blast! So many improvements that I’m thankful for; like lifeline now being able to revive someone without being put out of the fight with her shield. Thanks for all the good memories 🙌🏽

came back for season 10 and was severely disappointed by lack of content in the season and the game was total garbage

I don't know if anyone noticed but Fuse was visible in the trailer. Behind the reporter was a Screen but it was Fuses face not Forges. At least it looks like Fuse to me more than it does Forge.
I started playing apex legends on my ps4 when it had been out for 2 days and man everything has changed so much. I quitted in the start of season 2 and came back in season 12 on pc. Sadly lost all my progress including a wraith heirloom. But its so much fun to play apex again, and i still have all the old memories and it feels like season 0 wasnt long time ago

The crypto part caught me off guard
Feels good to be a day 1 player, to experience all of it, the ups and downs and to act like a boomer and tell people how the game was like 80 years ago, during the world war, before none of us were born, but somehow as a day 1 player ive played it since then, ah good times :'')
It feels like we have so much more experience although I know almost nothing about the game now after starting 2 days ago XD

Just picked it up again recently after leaving in season 2. Still feels nice and some things changed but the overall smoothness and fun is still there. Also, they gave me a legend I actually liked.

Really don't see why people think Rampart (and bloodhound for that matter) sucked. I murked entire lobbies with both of them prior to buffs. People just don't know how to use em.

It’s just that, overall, apex is a more dynamic and rapid-paced game, so legends like rampart or wattson aren’t that popular or effective at competitive or casual level, at least for the most part of the player base
theres a wattson with 70k plus kills. dosent mean she isnt the worst legend and has any place in rank or comp.
Doing good on a legend dosnt make them good in the grand scheme of things
People just think legends that are hard to use are awful. such as crypto or rampart

You have to think that at that time nobody really knew how to play the game. Nobody new how wall jump, tap strafe, ect. That’s why 20 kill badges were so easy to get. Good luck getting it now.

I think the octane's jump pad deserved a mention. It literally pushed octane from LEAST PICKED LEGEND to TOP 1
I know, people always talk about his speed/health regen which is suuuper nice. But before his pad was buffed he was so useless xD

apex is such a good game. I can tell because right when you started showing all the season i had flashbacks to great memories of each season.
I thought this was gonna be a lore or smth, but its a recap. As a returning player from season 3 was really helpful
I started playing after the reveal livestream and just missed a little of season 3, to me s7 was the peak of apex, horizon is such a great legend, olympus was mad fun in the start and my region had duos for the first time because of steam.
I really liked a lot of events and seasons but i have such great memories from s7

Lifeline was my first real main up until they reworked her. She might have been more powerful but you just couldn't do the plays with her rez sheild anymore (and then they removed the sheild entirely) and losing fast heals sucked
Completely agree, Lifeline and Gibi we're my main two from season 0-3.

Season 4 was probably my favorite season. I played either that season or season 14 the longest because I had so much fun playing them. I loved the changes to Worlds Edge, and it is still my favorite map, I loved playing Rev and his personality, I also thought the loot pool was great.

I have been playing since the first week (around then back in 2019). While I have taken breaks here and there I absolutely love this game and to see it change this much over a course of 2.5 years is crazy.
This was super cool to watch because my husband has been playing since day one but I just started a couple of seasons ago, so hearing about what he was doing/experiencing back then through the lens of having played the game for a few seasons has been super cool.

Man I started playing this game at the beginning I didn’t subscribe to the whole battle pass/rank system till season 5 so this video is a big reminder of my regret and how I’ll never have the evo skin for the flatline or the wingman.

Day 2 player here, thanks for the trip down memory lane. There’s only a couple things to you missed like when you mentioned the longbow used to take heavy ammo you forgot to mention that the triple take used to take energy ammo. And second that the mastiff was the first care package weapon. Also you could of mentioned that at the time when the new weapon, the L star, was introduced into the game it was given to us in the form of care packages that landed randomly on the map as soon as the match started, seeing as that’s the only time they have done that with a new weapon. It can be a lot to remember sometimes but all in all you must give credit where it’s due and I think it was a great video/breakdown/overview, therefore I subscribed! 👍
I played season 0 and then stopped and started again recently and was so confused to see the Mastiff as floor loot I got so excited and then... *Snap back to reality*

Season 2 and Season 3 were PEAK Apex. I know the game is more balanced now in terms of abilities and guns but the maps (S2 KC, S3 WE) and overall game feel was so much better back then.

This is pretty awesome, to see how the game has progressed since I didn't start playing until the end of season 8. Also yea Rampart got her big buf, you can how carry Shiela around like a regular weapon and Big Maude has OP af guns you can get for 100 crafting materials.
I still remember when Apex’s existence got leaked a few days before it released, and the Titanfall community all either brushed it off or shit themselves in anticipation
Everyone was saying it was fake and that it wouldn’t happened

God the nostalgia this video gave me with seeing the past, I can’t believe…2 years already. Wow. This has been my longest favorite game since black ops 3. And I wish many more years to come, this is one of the best games out there to play and it’s a worth while experience
I remember getting the mastiff from a care package in my very first game and it was so damn op in season 1 with 125 damage headshots 😭

I just remember getting wraith’s herloom and just using it for while when I was lvl 4-9, I thought it was pretty common, I didn’t watch any apex videos, I was just playing with my friend when it first came out, I only knew it was rare when i started Apex again

7:20 i remember my friend came over first day of season 3 (he never played apex) and when i launched it on the xbox i was shocked that there was a new map, oh the times
You forgot 1 thing in season 6. Dev reduced the armor values by 25 from every bodyshield, that make the starting of season 6 is just depression.

One of my best memories was when the tridents were first released and you could use octane pads on them. A few of my friends discovered it with me and it was really weird seeing it in competitive matches when just weeks before we were the only ones in our lobby doing it
As a day 1 player, thanks for the memories. BUT you forgot some glitches/bugs:
Using Shila to get under the map and stay there till last team die of ring damage.
When they introduced gold weapons, you could actually swap golden barrel (from gold weapons) to normal weapons so you'd ended having two golden barrels.
In season 2-3 (I don't remember) you could kill enemies (or teammates) by closing/opening doors on them.
Loba could teleport to unreachable places with her bracelet.
You could steal from loot vault from vault even tho you weren't Loba herself (they added that she could steal from the vault later).
The Trident full packed with gas by Caustic.
In the train event, you could glitch into the container and s to stay alive or piss enemies.
The Trident looking transportation thingies still can kill you if you stand infront of them.
Havoc once could change into a sniper with a hop-up.
