Jackson and Bangalore were pilots in training just like Jack but Jackson actually graduated the class before the wars end, Bangalore was a like 1 year late in pilot training before the wars end. Thats why they knew the moves of the IMC pilot that tried to kill them.

They're able to travel from outlands to frontier in like 1 or 2 years if they had a ship can do the jump and a pilot who knows how to operate a ship like that. The problem is, the fuel they need is very expensive, and they need a pilot who is willing to go to frontier, where is almost like a trash heap and no one really wants to stay there, or they probably need to pay the pilot more. That's why rev offered his help. In valk's case, she had to steal a slot machine from a casino to pay for the trip to the outlands with her mom. They spent 2 years for the trip. Jackson and Bang used a year from frontier to the outlands was because IMC were rich. They had the resource to perform the jump whenever they want.

I kind of forgot about the series, but these days I got into Apex when it got support for Steam Proton (Linux), and it GREAT, but I never knew it has such extensive lore!!! This is all so good I almost want to go back and play Titanfall 1 and 2 just to pick up whatever lore I can from them.

wraiths story is only "convoluted" if you cannot track more than one line of thinking at a time. If it is easily explained, it is literally not convoluted. It's just complex. not the same thing. Also not a hard concept. Wraith A and Wraith B. swapped places. they did this on the TV show fringe almost 20 years ago.
