Greg Walton hehe, yeah that’s the only problem! We were quite surprised how well the spice racks turned out in our van 😂 and they’re still in one piece! Unbelievable. Very useful too!

NIce. How did you go about designing the unit? Did you draw it out with detailed measurements? For me that part of the process would be the longest and hardest part.
It wasn’t designed as such, it sort of evolved inside the space that was left after the bed was finished. The mantra was to make the bed as comfortable as possible and then just use up whatever space was left.
Nice work. I'm just working on my van and will do something similar. How did you attach the unit to the van?
Hi Fizz, its screwed in to the ply with a couple of angle brackets at the moment as a temporary measure. We are away next week then its all coming out to be painted. I'll try and post a picture or two.
