Very useful video...to just see that this conversion can be done is a great help, let alone to see how it is done, so thank you.
It was fairly straight forward. I'm hoping to get both front seats re-trimmed over the winter.
@@GS04WAL they don't look that bad...have you thought of buying a set of covers for them?...UK Custom Covers do some nice ones.
@Hubster65 the drivers seat is noticeably more worn. I’m after something more custom. Seat Surgeons will be doing something for me after Christmas.
Good vid , looks nice and simple , guessing a swivel base would just fit on top .?
Yes thats the long term plan. Still planning the new camper layout but will be doing swivel seats after Christmas.

Hi what seat base did you actually use great idea want to do mine
Its a VW single seat base. I think it may be a left hand drivers seat base with the hand brake mount removed.
