Never left a comment before but have to sincerely thank Mindpump for your invaluable education around building muscle and fat loss.
Your advice really works! I've built muscle and lost fat in a realistic and sustainable way -without making drastic changes. For the first time, I'm able to lose weight without being hangry (hungry and angry). I've learnt that you dont have to starve yourself to lose fat or run yourself into the ground to build a muscle. You just have to be consistent and patient. Losing fat the right way is the quickest way.
Now I understand what my body needs and how to work with it rather than against it.
Thank you. You make this British woman in her 40's feel like one of the guys x

💪🏿One must maintain a balance in all facets of our health. It’s hard to do, because at some point, some of that is in others hands. That’s why we must nurture our relationships.💪🏿

Thank you for another great episode. I have a small business and see customers every day - complimenting each person on something (pretty earrings, cute outfit, your hair looks nice) goes a long way. It brightens both of our days. I will pay for the person behind me in a fast food line - so many big smiles in the rear view mirror!

I am learning so much! i just started weight training 2 months ago and so much has changed already. My family is still skeptical about me weight training, it seems "manly" to them, so i am getting so much helpful information for myself, fixing a lot, but also able to have some good conversations about it. look forward to your podcast every single day!

I feel the effects of the phone more and more. My husband is the worst lately as he works all day comes home and spends so much time behind his screen in his garage then with the family. Mostly cause he gets sucked in to the mindfulness of shorts.

I 100% agree with this statement that relationships are more important for your health than consistent strength training and good nutrition plan. I agree with it because i am going through that myself. It's hard to find the real true friend after you are done with high school. At least based on my experience. I am working on building relationships with people. I said to myself you need to meet at least with one person a week and talk face to face.

It’s funny to even think of this need for connection and “in person” things through the transformation of just podcasts. Going from articles/blogs, to then wanting to hear the ppl through a podcast to now wanting to see the whole picture of the ppl talking on UA-cam.

Female here. When I get a compliment from another woman I automatically assume it’s fake. Women compliment each other all the time to appear polite and ensure people like them. Adam and Doug would be in trouble at my house if they are walking around with eyes half open in the night. I don’t require my husband to put the seat down so it’s often up. I’m a firm believer that since the man had to put the seat up to use the toilet it’s only fair that the woman put the seat down if they want to use the toilet. I’ve never understood why men have to lift the seat and put it down. I’m not a princess and I can share in the work. Despite what women claim - we see the status of the seat the minute we walk into the room. The door faces the toilet for Pete’s sake. Women are not falling in by accident they just don’t want to touch the seat. I don’t put the seat up when I’m done to prepare the toilet for my husband, the whole concept is ridiculous.

Hey Mind Pump (or anyone who can answer my question)
I'm starting MAPS starter soon and am a little curious on the exercise order. At first I thought I perform each set once, then when done go back and repeat each set in the same order. Now after rereading the blueprint I think I need to do each set twice before moving on to the next exercise. Can you confirm which you recommend? Excited to start my journey!

I know how important it is to be able to see your kids in person to keep that relationship going. I divorced my ex wife 6 years ago and since then I have had to try and keep my kids from hating me because of all of the lies she tells our kids about me. I have been parental alienated with my oldest daughter. Youngest 2 are fine and come with me on my weekends but my oldest won’t and I try so hard to get her to come over all the time. When she does we have a great time and she hangs out with me the whole time and it’s like she has been coming over the whole time. But then she will stop like right now she hasn’t come over since Christmas 2023 so almost 7 months and it’s rough. I have even taken my ex to court over this and other things but she doesn’t care and stops just her from coming over.

Adam you quote books on leadership, you are a leader running your own operation. You know character and integrity plays a huge part in many aspects such as decision making. Especially in complex decisions that impacts people’s lives. For you to say it doesn’t apply to the leader of our country is hypocrisy. That’s a rebuttal for a person who rather over look that issue to get a person in office who they feel would benefit them financially. I have more respect when a person spills that truth vs gaslighting. I usually agree with you but this is BS.
