Find out what I run and why I run them in this Complete Chest Rig Setup And Review. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, make sure to shoot me a comment.

    I think it’s important to train as you fight, so strap on your gear and go sit in the sun, rain, mud of places where mosquitos are. And sit there, and sit the and sit there and sit there, get shot at. Take a poo, go smoke. Drink Rip It’s, go sit, and sit.

    Pro tip... I am a right handed shooter. I use the beer can grip. There is better or worse. No right or wrong. Ive had a lot of experience with this as a triple tabber and instructor at Bragg. Cool video though.

      In Sweden, we are governed quite strictly by the police, who issue licenses for weapons.
      Hunting weapons, available for purchase if you do a training course over a weekend.
      From the first of August, we can also search on the AR-15 platform for hunting.
      To own a one-handed weapon, you must belong to a shooting club, and you must meet several requirements to obtain a special permit
      But you only get a license for 5 years on one-handed weapons.
      Then you have to hear about the whole application again with the police.
      I'm doing pretty well as I'm the Range officer for IPSC in the club and work as a public safety officer through the police.
      Haven't had any major problems getting me what I want, when it comes to weapons if there is nothing with too short a barrel or automatic fire.

    Great Video ! The 2nd Y-T video that had a Paint Can Lid Opener ! Maybe you can also use it to open a paint can ! Have the Leatherman "Mutt" a great tool for the kit ! The girls may like the large signal mirror to check the make up... The chest bag can be connected to the straps of the day pack, back pack or book bag. tjl

    Just finished a similar setup with the Tacticon Armament Version in Mcbk with an EUD bridge for phone navigation.
    If anyone is looking for a good Haley D3CRM repro, theirs is much better quality to this one with tighter stitching, THICKER nylon, extra velcro for molle mounting and removable clipse. The inserts are also closer to haleys kydex strength over the huenco or krydex brands. Its runs for 100 but id take it over a 200 dollar haley as a civie any day!

      I have the Krydex DC3R Micro chest rig just like this. Krydex uses thicker nylon, YKK zippers, velcro around the mag inserts (so they dont come out easily) and better stitching for around the same price as Huenco.

    When it comes to magazine orientation on chest rigs or plate carriers, I have my mags curved towards my left arm (support hand). I am a right handed shooter too. What I have learned is not everyone grabs the magazines the same way when pulling them out of their kit. For me, it is less movement and more natural to have the mags coming up out of the mag pouch and curve towards my support hand (left side). The most important thing to remember when setting up your kit is, to try both sides and see what feels best when doing dry fire reloads. Find what works best and stick to it.

    • @TapRackTyler
      @TapRackTyler  8 місяців тому +2

      Word I hear you. I have tried both sides and noticed if they are to to the left, you have to either do a wrist flip, bend arm inward, and beer can grip from up top if they are faces to the left, or pull them out and spin back around sense they are oriented to the rear if you did that. If they are faced to the right it’s just one grab and when you pull them out they are already oriented forward. Just from my experience of training both. Also if you see most dudes that are shooters do it the same as well, not that I made it up just feel it is less movement over all. Either way like you said set it up for you tho, try different setups, and find out what works best for you. Thank you for watching and the input brother. ⚡️

      @xxfire07 8 місяців тому

      @@TapRackTyler Yup! I did the “look at that dude’s kit” thing too when I first got my carrier. But following the crowd or famous “UA-camrs” didn’t work for me. I had to remembered that I’m not an air soft player or a Larper. I served 8 years active army and I currently have 23 years as a federal officer. So, when I oriented my mags to the right and it felt wonky and slow to do mag changes, I had no problem changing them to the left. Because my experience in the field tells me not everyone grips mags the same way. I have one swift movement and the mag is in the rifle. Everyone is different. Not even on my job, will they tell you which way to face your mags because they know there is more to it than being right or left handed.

      Yea check em out they are another knock off company but there stuff is really great quality. I have their version of the haley micro rig and dangler in coyote, the flatpack, and my battle belt setup is mostly from them. They have a slick back PC that the Micro rig will click and velcro into and thats my next purchase to go with an assault pack. Planning on building a MC setup too from them. I went Coyote first becasue I love Desert Tiger Stripe and coyote gear is my only option really. I'm like you where I'm not military or police so I'm ballin on a budget. I can have two loadouts for the price of just the Haley micro rig lol @@TapRackTyler
