It’s so cool and underrated what you did here. This seemingly strange and small obsession over such a small topic just disseminated years and years of trial and error, and unique problem solving strategies. Saved a lot of people a lot of time. Thanks.
One of the best IFAKs I've purchased is the EDC Trauma from Dark Angel Medical. It's a pouch with a vacuum sealed insert. The insert is about the size of a fat wallet. You can add a medical patch, mini shears and TQ, price is gonna be 150ish BUT they run discounts all the time. Dark Angel Medical has been my go-to for the last 5yrs. I use them for range stuff and duty. I highly recommend them.
Just a thought. I noted that there was a blood type patch on one of the belts. As a Combat Medic, an EMT, and an ER Tech, those are virtually pointless. If you're ever in a situation where someone like me is giving you any kind of blood products, I'll be ignoring that patch and doing a type and cross anyway. We don't rely on the blood type provided by the patches or dogtags anymore. There have been too many instances where the wrong blood type was listed. Whether in the field, or in a trauma center, one of the steps in the protocol will be a type and cross. In fact, my field transfusion kits (yes, those are a thing) include a type and cross kit. In the ER, the Physician will be ordering a type and cross automatically, and someone will be drawing blood for it. Use them if you like, but they don't really serve a practical purpose anymore.
@@ANukeWithLegs you can purchase a patch if you like, but your Medic is going to ignore it. Believe it or not, every transfusion kit comes with a type and cross kit. I set mine up different. It is more modular, and relatively light weight. And with the intent of protecting the neighborhood, having to go gray man, or apply long distance 308 long gun needs. I am glad I bought military magazine pouches. I also like having up front one left and one right pouch for three M16 magazines military issue. Then on the left, one M1967 20 round pouch for my 308 10 round magazines, for my bolt action 308 rifle. Then on the right my pistol holster which also has one extra magazine capacity. I found a cool cell phone pouch that can carry two additional pistol magazines. A pouch for a multi tool and small vise grip, screw driver. Then with four two double magazine brown RedField AR MOLLE pouches. They can be taken off for a canteen, or other things depending on my need. Like a range finder and weather equipment, first aid.. One thing I have listen to many military vets is this. One cannot carry enough ammo. So for neighbor hood protection, minimum 14-30 round magazines. The weight balances very nice. I did some long distance shooting competitions and did not like chest rigs while shooting my bolt action 308. And that is another reason for making it modular. Because the place of competition required a lot of walking and self sufficient carrying everything one needed, like food, water, spotting scope, tripod and everything else needed, along with a backpack. So trial and error, I got my set up good for a all day event. But your video adds extra dynamics I might have to consider.
@@TapRackTyler you are welcome. My talent is more long distance. But one also need a carbine too. I found a good compromise is a light weight Savage 308 bolt. And a AR set up for 7.62x39 with light weight scope. That way cleaning tools for a 308 for both, saving weight. And one trick I did also is with thin brass shims I made, I have the scope set up for the AK combat setting. So it is a point and shoot long gun with optics. And staying out at 500 yards, the bolt action can rule, and be reasonable fast.
It is a great option because not everyone is gonna want to put on a plate carrier or a chest rig for every single situation... Maybe I only need a couple rifle magazines, medical and a pistol for what I am doing at the moment. In a realistic 'end of the world' type scenario a belt is a great minimum amount of gear on hand.
FYI, the Wilder Tactical "Urban Assault Belt Pad" works well with the Kore (or just about any 1.75" battle belt) for a throw-on-and-go setup, for those days when you may not have belt loops, or pants at all. :) It's loop Velcro on one side, neoprene rubber on the other, and priced well.

I've got an ATS padded belt, an inner belt, and suspenders coming in today, and im excited to try them out. It came out to be about $100 for all 3 items and ATS has been making the padded belt for years. Lots of videos of guys who were in Iraq with them. And the padded belt on its own is $50. I was thinking the HSGI but damn, over $100 just for the belt, $50 for suspenders, and $30 for the inner belt was a bit much.

Put some 100 mph tape on the kydex knife sheath to help reduce the amount of dust going in on that edge, if it gets cut up it’s easy enough to replace.

Instead of velcro...why not magnets on mag pouch?🤔
Prefer Velcro as magnets can lose strength and wear easier imo
Got a source for that buckle on the Cyre belt??

My fault, shoulda read the comments first 😅😅 Thank you
@@aremdon62 all good I appreciate the support man my pleasure 🙏🏼🫡
A multi-tool is probably a lot more functional and useful on a range belt than a skin flayer
I like to carry both lol I hear you tho ⚡️
@@TapRackTyler 🙏🏼
Condor makes pretty decent stuff that isnt cheap but they don't charge a rediculous amount for it.
Agreed. Love their chest rig with padded shoulder straps. 🤘🏼
Ok I’m a big guy but I’m try to find other outer belt systems other than crye can anyone help
www.bluealphabelts.com/
Check them out, they will make any size needed
Wheres the canteen did you take it off.
Don’t believe he was running one on these belts
@@TapRackTyler he should have one on them hydration is as important as fighting capability.

🤙🤙🤙
Think I'd rather run 4 more rifle mags in place of a sidearm and mags for it...same weight. S.O. Techs jungle belt with harness is much better than a conventional belt anyway. Lead Devils belt is great for run and gun, does not sag.
That is great if you have a team with you at all times that have more rifles to help cover you during reload or extreme malfunctions. Appreciate the input brother⚡️
We're do I that belt. I want one
The first one? It is a Crye belt with a riggers inner belt from LBT Inc. 🤘🏼
@@TapRackTyler can't find it.🤔
@@TapRackTyler can u hook me up with a link. I love my war belt I'm getting tired of adjusting it too many clothes not enough clothes it's getting old brother
@@legallimitoutdoors9917 yea brother here you go! lbtinc.com/products/0612a
@@legallimitoutdoors9917 just sent you the link 🤘🏼
How do you reach your knife?
Which belt? For the lost part accessible with either hand on the back side. Getting out is quick and easy but re inserting is a bit tricky.
Why is the knife placed near the back side left of the belt? Should be on the dominant or strong armed side. That draw is not easy access.
There’s no actually right correct way but a smart way that I think is having it on your support side, that way if you were ever fighting for your gun with someone you have your support hand to grab your knife while you’re dominant hand is protecting your gun. Or if you are holding your gun and need your knife for whatever reason.
what is the holster you using? I only see black on the kore site
Are you referring to the Safariland?
@@TapRackTyler I believe so. I am looking for a holster to go with the battle belt you recommended
just wondering on that plate as well that holds the holster
@@ASavagejoker I am running the 6378rds-2832 from Safariland. It has the als system along with the qls system. I run it with my Glock 19 x Tlr-7a x SRO
@@ASavagejoker that would be the true north concepts modular adapter plate
What is the replacement inner belt for the crye war belt? Pls and thank you
